Benedict Cumberbatch Is Married

Benedict Cumberbatch is officially off the market. E! reports that Cumberbatch married Sophie Hunter on the Isle of Wight in England on Valentine's Day. Martin Freeman, the Watson to Cumberbatch's Holmes, was one of the 100 people in attendance. Hunter is currently pregnant with the couple's first child.

  1. I thought this was an Oscar race PR engagement, but didn't expect them to marry. Congrats to them on the wedding and baby.

  6. The "other" site has a blind about an A list foreign born actor recently we'd his pregnant gf and the baby is not his. Obviously supposed to be Cumby, but I can't help but wonder if one of Enty's minions is a closet poster on celebitchy. They've gone full tilt Chernobyl over there.

    1. No kidding I checked in at celebitchy Last night because I haven't been to many sites in a few weeks and Saturday post on cumberbitches Wedding was at 600 I didn't even click.. not going down that rabbit hole. .nope no ma'am not me.. I think he looks like a Hawaiian cricket. I don't get his appeal at All and anytime I'm in a gunfight with a Cumberbitche I just back away slowly. .them bitches crazy... I only peruse celebitchy nowadays it used to be better but it's bc Central because they know their wheelhouse. .I hate how they take 1 event and break the fashion into each girl gets her own post..ie. more clicks but that's so frustrating that I won't click the link.. theyes should cover 5 girls in 1 post like they used to but it like "rainbow room" are not user friendly. . Speaking of which I haven't been over there in a few weeks I need to catch up on all the conspiracies over the Rainbow in between finishing last 2 episodes of da today and then starting bcs..

    1. I like him, he's a great actor. (Amazing Grace is one of my favorite films ever.) But even though I like and admire him, I've never gone meltdown.
Maybe for Askars. Or Hiddles. Or Fillion.

    2. Askars Or kinnaman only.. have you seen the trailer for Joel and Liam long dick dong Neeson for "Run all night" ?? Opens in a few weeks. . It's one of the few movies I'll go see in a theater. . I'll be there opening day for sure.. now that I have finished all of my surgeries after 2 years of surgeries I looked at my calendar last night and it's empty. . I couldn't believe it. ..

Years of 3-6 Dr's appointments a week and now I've had my final (but most painful and brutal surgery) one and I have nothing on the docket in the next few weeks. . It felt odd.. like all next week I have literally nothing I Have to do and Nowhere to be.. it's the weirdest feeling ever.. my health issues have consumed my life for the last 5 years and now that I've had all my surgeries I have all this free time and it's odd.. I haven't had a vacation in 11 years because Of health/financial reasons but now my schedule is completely cleared after mid March. .
maybe I can make some money on March madness and go somewhere. ..

      Sorry to ramble ya'll. ..

  9. I would do all sorts of dirty things to Fillion. Capt Mal is my man.

@sugar bread, that does sound brutal! But yay for full rehabilitation! I did see the Run All Night preview (I think I linked to it here a couple of weeks ago when Liam was the topic of conversation). It does look really good.

  10. Hooray Sugar Bread! No more surgeries is great news!

My top five hotties: 1) Askars. (If you haven't seen The East, watch it.)
    2) Tom Hiddleston, 3) Nathan Fillion, 4) Matt Passmore, 5) Chris Evans.
Cumberbatch gets an honorable mention for those eyes and that voice. Damn. His voice is sexy.

  11. I just watched The Fifth Estate last night and I thought Bennedict was amazing as Julian Assange. One of the reasons I like him and Hiddleston so well is because they're both such chameleons on film. They completely morph into whoever they're playing, unlike "actors" like George Clooney or Julia Roberts who can only play themselves reciting lines.

Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans and James McAvoy are some of my favs. I'll watch anything they're in. @Snarky - have you seen Only Lovers Left Alive with Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton yet? It's excellent!

    1. I haven't seen OLLA yet, but it's on my "must see" list. Hiddleston is amazing, I am really excited about Crimson Peak. He was in Wallander with Branagh and I never missed an episode-that was the first thing I'd watched him in. I'm very happy he's getting attention. Plus, he looks fantastic in a suit.

  12. I agree Snarky, that voice is the draw.

    1. Cumberbatch isn't a "hunk" per se, but his voice and intellect make him appealing. I'm happy he found a match.

  13. I watched him in "The Imitation Game" last week, he's an amazing actor and strangely engaging, if not attractive.
