Tweet of the Day 10/22/16
Apparently the internet outage was caused by Madonna's head exploding when she heard Lady Gaga referred to her as a 'nice lady.'— Gary Janetti (@GaryJanetti) October 21, 2016
Lady Gaga Disses Madge
Lady Gaga recently sat down for an interview with Beat 1 Radio, where she had this to say about Madonna, as reprinted by Page Six:
“Madonna and I are very different. Just say. We’re very different. I wouldn’t make that comparison at all and I don’t mean to disrespect Madonna, she’s a nice lady, and she’s had a fantastic huge career, biggest pop star of all time. But I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different. I allow myself to fail,” she said. “I allow myself to break. I’m not afraid of my flaws. I just will not be compared to anyone anymore, I am who the fuck I am and this is me. My life story is my life story, just like yours is.”
Be careful which way you're throwing that shade, Gaga!
Scottie Pippen Getting Divorced

Larsa's rep issued the following statement: "After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage. Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family."
Larsa appeared on the first season of Real Housewives of Miami, and is a FOK (Friend of Kardashian), often appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Young and Hip
As soon as this actor’s divorce was announced, people started trying to link him to a new woman. Specifically, they tried to link him to this barely legal girl with the famous last name.
No. They are NOT dating.
It isn’t so much him who has restrictions on who he will date. In fact, we fully expect that, going forward, he will frequently be seen with young, beautiful girls.
It is her who will not date him. While it would be easy for this young lady to date any famous guy for attention, she has already decided that the older ones (including our actor’s posse) will just be friends. She will hang out at clubs and on yachts with them, but her next “love interest” will be someone young and hip. That’s her brand. Yes, she already knows her brand. Her two famous boyfriends were just the beginning.

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Suddenly Catholic
This A-lister may often get on her knees, but we can assure you it isn't to pray!
She, like many, was raised Catholic and lapsed in her later years. Over the decades she's attacked the Catholic Church for its policies and criticised the hierarchy for its decisions, all whilst displaying behaviour best described as 'Non-Catholic.'
And yet, whenever a Pope dies, our A-lister begs the Vatican for a VIP invitation to the funeral proceedings. When they turn down her offer, our emotional A-lister then pleads for a private audience with the Pope's body to 'show her respects.'
She's never once been accepted yet she does it every time. Bizarre!
So, tell me, Gossipers:
Who is our A-lister?

Kardashian Korner
Kendall Jenner recently sat down for an interview with W Magazine, where she talked about how she likes to get her tits out. Here's what she had to say:
What was the first big break?
"My first big break was going to meet Katie Grand at Marc Jacobs, and then I got the Marc Jacobs show. I was so nervous. I didn’t think anyone would like me. It’s so nerve wracking in front of all those cool people and you go back a couple times and they need to see if they really like you. I got surprised in person that I booked the show."
Were you nervous the night of?
"I actually surprisingly was not nervous, not extremely nervous. I was more excited. I think I wasn’t nervous because I was wearing flats. Like, I got to wear, like, flat shoes so it wasn’t as nerve wracking. I was, like, I can’t fall. There’s no way I can fall."
So that was your big concern?
"Yeah, my biggest concern was definitely falling. And then my tits were out. I don’t know why I wasn’t nervous about that. I was really excited about my tits being out, actually."
Why?
"I don’t know. I’m weird. I love my tits being out. It’s like one of my things, I guess."
So you have no trouble with nude photography?
"No, there’s a line. There’s a definite line. But I’m young. When I’m older, I want to be able to look at it and be, like, I looked good."
How much time do you spend basically working?
"Ten months out of the year, I’m working almost every day. I think I was raised to be a workaholic, so I think that I knew it was going to happen at some point. I’ve been working since I was ten years old."
What kind of jobs did you have besides this job?
"I was on a reality TV show, which you could consider a job. It’s technically a job, but it’s working with my family every single day so I’m very lucky to call it a job. And I just get to hang out with my family and I’ve been doing that since I was, like, nine years old. And then my little sister and I are baby bosses. We basically are on our way to rule the world, so you can expect that."
Are you superstitious?
"Not really. I don’t think this is a superstition, but I say a little prayer."
When do you say the prayer?
"Before I walk, before take off in a plane, and every night."
Have you always?
"Yeah, my mom – I was raised to kind of do that. It makes me feel better."
Hollywood Street King Blind Item - Real Husband of Hollywood
Today’s blind item is widely recognized as a Real Husband of Hollywood. But sources say if the reported “secretly taped sex capade” were to get out — said to reveal our mystery man sharing a smashing scene with one of Tinseltown’s very active female reality stars/escorts … Don’t believe me? Just ask Game — it’s suspected that our blind item’s real wife of Hollywood may Parker him, potentially turning dude into a real divorcee of Hollywood.
We’re told that’s exactly why our mystery man has been making it rainy for his reported co-star in the “secretly taped sex tape”, said to be droppin’ “a chunk a month” to “keep the footage on the low”. WHAT’S MORE? Though we can’t confirm the exact number of the monthly “blackmail monies” sources say dude’s droppin’, according to credible industry insider he’s been “making the payments for upwards of a year.”
Dig the Drop:
“She invited him over to her apartment in Miami — not knowing she had hidden cameras set up to get them fucking on tape. He’s been paying her a lot of money not to leak their sex tape ever since.”
He’s a leading RHH cast member (and a reported “unhappily married man”) who’s said to “spend a lot of his money on prostitutes.” Now, can you guess who I’m talking about?

Jon Hamm Talks Losing His Virginity
Jon Hamm is making the rounds to promote his new movie Keeping Up With the Joneses. This time, he sat down for an interview with Elle Magazine. Here's what he had to say:
What would you do differently about losing your virginity?
Jon Hamm: "I don't know. Everything? [Laughs] There's no version of it that's not awkward. Let's put it this way: As much as I had practiced, I was still not quite ready for game time."
Were you very young?
"I wasn't. I was in college. I was 19."
That surprises me.
"I don't know why that would surprise you. Maybe it's easy for some people. It certainly wasn't for me."
You play the ideal male specimen in 'Keeping Up With the Joneses.' But you're famously self-deprecating. You've said, "I'm no Ryan Gosling."
"I don't know Ryan. He's impossibly handsome. But I remember having a meeting with the director and writer of Keeping Up With the Joneses and saying, "There are a couple of ways to play this guy." I think the more interesting thing is to have this guy who seemingly has it all, but it doesn't make him happy. A lot of people get lost in work. He wants something in his life that's authentic. [Laughs] Which is admittedly a not-so-funny way to enter a comedy. For most people, the authentic things are relationships, friends, and family."
What did your dad teach you about women?
"He was twice widowed. He was divorced from my mom when she died, but even so, there's a deep sense of tragedy in that. I never had the opportunity to, as an adult, sit down and talk to him about that. It's a real loss. I was quasi-adopted by my friends' families. And even today I get e-mails or cards from these women who, for lack of a better word, were my mom. We talk about what it means to be a family. Mostly it's about showing up. And being aware enough to check in and say, "How are you doing?" I've been incredibly lucky to have these people in my life."
What do you wish you could tell your 20-year-old self?
"I do think about that. The best thing you could say is: Appreciate it. Struggle is part of the journey. That's what I've learned in my forties: This too shall pass."
What do you want to tell the next woman who dates you?
"Oh God. I don't know. I don't think I'm ready to answer that yet."

WTF Remake of the Day - Willy Wonka
It's not even two months since Gene Wilder passed away, and Warner Brother is already planning a Willy Wonka movie. E! News reports that "that the upcoming film will not be an origin tale, but a standalone movie focused on Willy Wonka and his early adventures." No thank you!

Russell Brand Talks Impending Fatherhood
Russell Brand recently sat down for an interview with the Evening Standard, where he talked about preparing for fatherhood. Here's what he had to say:
“I feel lit up by the idea. I’m very excited about becoming a dad and I’m preparing myself. I am just getting ready to be with a new little person and see what it is they want.”
On what his life is like now:
“It is very calm. I look at the chickens, they hatch some eggs. Basically I’m like a village idiot — just looking at livestock. There is constant conflict between the primal drives: the drive to procreate, the drive to survive, and the drive to have status. But I am no longer deluded as to what may provide happiness. I’m so much happier over the course of the day to see one or two people and a few chickens, that’s a good way of living.”
On writing a book on addiction, due out next year:
“Addiction is about the way you relate to the outside world. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a substance misuse problem, which drills it right down. If you’re not lucky, you’ll have a food, sex or spending issue; those things are insidious because they’re culturally endorsed, they’re habitual.”
On studying religion in global politics at the University of London:
“I am very interested in the role that religion and spirituality will play in the further formulation of world events and how secular societies are held together. The old idea [about politics] is dead and people don’t know what’s replacing it yet, so I’m spending some time discovering what it is.”
Nikki Reed Talks Feeling Good
Nikki Reed spoke at the Create and Cultivate Event in Atlanta last weekend; here's what she had to say, as reprinted by E! News:
"The real question is what makes you feel good? Nobody in your position has ever been given a check for $5 million and suddenly they just feel good. You feel good from the start and those things are the icing on the cake or it just doesn't work. If you're chasing it the other way around, it will never work and that's why so many people in my business come out so fucked up. They are chasing some sort of validation.
You know how many times I've been told you're not good enough, you're not pretty enough, you're too fat—that one I really like—you're too skinny—that one's also kinda crazy. The amount of times I've been categorized by somebody else's standards of a person is so ridiculous and I would be completely destroyed if I defined myself by that."
On her five year plan:
"In the next five years, I'd like to be able to look at all of you and say I've gone back to school and I have something to show for it. I'm a lifelong student. I'm always enrolling in classes wherever I am. When I was shooting in Baton Rouge for a long time, months and months, I enrolled at LSU and I took psychology and I've taken classes at SMC, UCLA extension. It's probably me chasing my father's dreams or following my brothers footsteps or something that I should talk to a therapist about."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Athlete Double Life
This famous American athlete from a championship team has a great career and a beautiful family.
Then why does he spend several days a month with another woman and her young child in a different town?
Because the child is HIS. Our athlete has a secret second family! They never go out in public together, instead choosing to do quiet, family-type activities either in the house or backyard.
Since he spends so much time with them, we’re thinking that the wife must know about the other child, but that they choose to keep it quiet because it’s definitely not the image he… or his team… or his sponsors wants to portray!

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Peanut Butter
"I want smooth peanut butter and I want it now!"
This former B-list child star once held up production because his sandwich filling wasn't what he asked for. He wanted smooth peanut butter and all catering had was crunchy. Someone from production had to be sent out to get it from a nearby store while our undersized, overcomplainer refused to work. The whole process took an hour.
No wonder he's basically retired nowadays.

Bella Thorne Posed for Playboy
Because of course she did. Here's what she had to say in the accompanying interview to her fully-clothed pictorial (because Playboy doesn't do nudes anymore):
“People often don’t want to get to know the real you; they only want to get to know the person they think you are. For me, that means people are constantly trying to change me, every second of the day, especially on social media. I’m not fed up with social media—I understand it—but people like to comment on how my image is too edgy, that I’m too edgy, and on how they wish I looked. It’s a lot of ‘do this, don’t do that.’ To them I say, fuck off. There’s this effort to try to shame a woman’s sexiness by pulling a cover over it, but I’m a woman who loves skin. I love skin on me, I love skin on girls, I love skin on guys. If you’re confident enough to show off your body, you should. Be confident. It can be difficult to get yourself to focus on you all the time, especially when you’re trying to transition into who you really are, but I’m not going to change for anybody else. I love staying true to me.”

Shay Mitchell Looks to the Future
Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell recently sat down for an interview with Self Magazine, where she talked about her plans after the series ends in the Spring. Here's what she had to say:
"My generation realizes you can be multihyphenated. You don't have to stay in a box. Just because you started off in one industry doesn't mean you can't jump into another one. I wouldn't say that acting is a stepping-stone, per se. But it's another step in the direction of where I want to go. The message I'm trying to put out there is that you can do whatever you want to do, and if I'm going to say that, I need to do it myself. If I want to become a singer and drop a single next month, I'm going to do that."
On working as a waitress:
"I would walk around as though I were in a movie. I was already a successful actress in my mind."
On keeping a vision board:
"It was a corkboard in my kitchen, with pictures of the Hollywood sign and Gossip Girl because I wanted to be on a show like that. I really believe in the power of visualizing—having faith—and then working your ass off."
On her YouTube Channel:
"I have so many different interests and love trying new things, which is how the YouTube channel came about. Next I'm doing a series on my workout lifestyle."
On her workout regimen:
"I like to switch it up so I don't get bored. Sometimes I'll just go to the UCLA track and run up and down the bleachers."

Selma Blair recently appeared on CBS's The Talk, where she recalled that time she had a psychotic break on a plane. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by E! News:
"I am someone who should never drink and I rarely do and I don't drink anymore, but I did. I was going through something. I had a glass of wine, someone gave me a pill that I thought was something that I had taken before, which I don't take on a regular basis. It was something completely different. A very bad choice and I had a total psychotic blackout. It was horrible and frightening and I had empathy for myself actually afterwards because actually it was so out of character for me, especially now that I am a mother."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Daddy Demands a Quiet Divorce
Just a couple of quick notes about the separation of this movie actor and his civilian wife.
It’s not just a separation. There WILL be a divorce. They are just trying to keep it low-key and as undramatic as possible.
They originally got together because her Daddy could give him a big career. The marriage may be over, but Daddy is still very powerful and Actor is smart enough not to burn bridges. So, as long as no rogue third parties chime in, this whole process will be VERY quiet, because that is the way Daddy wants it!
In fact, you might say that this divorce will be almost… pleasant.

Amanda Seyfried Opens Up about Battle with OCD
Amanda Seyfried sat down for an interview with this month's Allure Magazine, where she opened up about her battle with OCD. Here's what she had to say:
Q: Have you done a lot of work on your place?
A: “I bought the house in 2013, and then I had it redone.... I just finished renovating one of the barns for guests. I put in a bathroom and a little kitchenette, but no stove; I want people to eat meals in the house. Also, I always worry about people and how they use stoves. Which is just a controlling thing.”
Q: Is this related to OCD?
A: “Yes. About the gas. You could so easily burn down something if you leave the stove on. Or the oven.”
Q: Are you medicated?
A: “Yeah. I’m on Lexapro, and I’ll never get off of it. I’ve been on it since I was 19, so 11 years. I’m on the lowest dose. I don’t see the point of getting off of it. Whether it’s placebo or not, I don’t want to risk it. And what are you fighting against? Just the stigma of using a tool? A mental illness is a thing that people cast in a different category [from other illnesses], but I don’t think it is. It should be taken as seriously as anything else. You don’t see the mental illness: It’s not a mass; it’s not a cyst. But it’s there. Why do you need to prove it? If you can treat it, you treat it. I had pretty bad health anxiety that came from the OCD and thought I had a tumor in my brain. I had an MRI, and the neurologist referred me to a psychiatrist. As I get older, the compulsive thoughts and fears have diminished a lot. Knowing that a lot of my fears are not reality-based really helps."
On insecurity:
“It’s funny when insecurity hits you. Sometimes I feel I know the world so well, but then...it’s so debilitating. You’re like, What am I doing here? No one wants to see me. Why are you taking my picture? It’s stupid, it’s irrational, and it’s not all about me, but I make it about me because I’m insecure.”

The honorees will be announced in December, and will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, 2017.
Shia LaBeouf Hits Back at Wedding Doubters
Shia LaBeouf recently appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he talked about his wedding. Here's what he had to say, as reprinted by Page Six:
Responding to Ellen saying "Congratulations, I think you just got married":
“I did, yes. You said, ‘I think’ because you thought I was messing around or something...The plan was for it to be a private deal … but part of the package, the King Tut package, you get a live stream for free. And I said, ‘You know, we don’t really need that as a matter of fact. We’ll just take our private tape’ We get home and it’s like, ‘Whoa, hey, listen something changed.’ So I called them up and they said, ‘Somebody pressed the wrong button that sends the video to TMZ.'”
Look, it's quite possible that LaBeouf and Goth got a confidential marriage license in California either before or after their Las Vegas ceremony. And it's also possible that Shia LaBeouf does not give a fuck about any licenses issued by the state, and drew up his own marriage license with his crayon box. Both are completely plausible explanations. I guess we'll find out for sure when the union inevitably implodes in a few years (months?).
Tyra Banks Still Has Beef With Naomi Campbell
Tyra Banks recently appeared on the Norweigan-Swedish series Skavlan, where she once again rehashed her feud with Naomi Campbell. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by Page Six:
“I got to Paris and it was very difficult I did very well, very fast. But then the industry was saying, ‘Look out Naomi Campbell, here comes Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell sit your butt down, this younger one is coming to take your place. It wasn’t fair to Naomi, but her response was … to this day I’m very scared of her. I don’t want to go too deep into the past, but it was very difficult, like some of the lowest times of my life dealing with that.
I don’t condone her actions and her response, but I understand where it comes from because the world is saying, ‘You’re not going to have your spot. We’re going to take your money, we’re going to take your fame. Go sit down, there’s somebody else.' She kept saying it never happened and then there was a commercial break and then she came back and said, you know, ‘I’m sorry.' And, oh my God, I just cried like a baby. To hear that after so many years of pain and dealing with it publicly … me having to leave agencies because of her … to hear that apology meant the world to me. She has no idea what that did for me.”
I'm guessing if someone asked Naomi to weigh in, her response would be "I don't know her."
Celebrity Real Estate - Kenny Loggins
Kenny Loggins has picked up a new home in Montecito, California for $2.495 million. The 3,000 square foot home features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, tropical landscaping, and a Bali-inspired playhouse. See pictures of the property at the LA Times.
Harry Shearer Sues Over Spinal Tap
Turn this lawsuit up to 11! TMZ reports that Harry Shearer is suing Universal Studios' parent company Vivendi for $125 million. See, Shearer, Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Rob Reiner co-created the movie, and Vivendi's accounting on all merchandise shows that the four were only owed $81 for merchandise and $98 for music sales from Spinal Tap up until 2006. Now I'm not great at math, but that sounds like a steaming pile of nope! In addition to the $125 million, Shearer is asking that his production Century of Progress Productions take over the film's trademarks from now on, because clearly Vivendi has no idea what the fuck they're doing.
