Actor Jack Riley passed away at the age of 80 from pneumonia. Depending on what generation you're from, you might remember him from either the Bob Newhart Show or as the voice of Stu Pickles on Rugrats. Riley is survived by his wife Ginger Lawrence. Read his full obituary at the Los Angeles Times.

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva Still Fighting Over Money
TMZ reports that Oksana Grigorieva just took Mel Gibson to court to increase her monthly child support payments from $20K/mo to $100K/mo, you know, to pay for vacations, travel, lodging, etc. After much negotiating, Mel will now pay Oksana just under $30K/mo, and in exchange, Oksana has to move out of his home in Sherman Oaks (where she had been living for free). She has already rented a place in Malibu. Okay, she has to be getting the world legal advice ever. First, she bungled the original $15 million, and now she's getting less than $10K more per month, but lost out on the house that she won in the original settlement. I think she's doing this wrong.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Pure Victim
This young actress has shocked a former cast mate with her pretend disgust over the commercialization of her relationship.
"What is she blathering on about? No one forced her to pretend to date [her costar]! She signed a contract with terms for her participation. She did it to make the films popular and to raise her own popularity and her own salary each time [a new film was made]. This wasn’t some altruistic gesture. It was all selfish. She made an enormous amount of money from this. Her pretense that she is oh-so-above-it-all and that she wanted the relationship to be pure is rubbish. Frankly I’m gobsmacked that she would try to portray herself as some sort of poor unwitting victim. SHE SIGNED UP FOR IT!"

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Changed Up Cast
The sequel to this movie is set to feature a changed up cast. The last set was such a super mess that the studio and the producers want to take out some of the worst offenders. It's also a chance to reduce the budget and the bottom line. We're unsure of how fans will react.

Gawker, We Hardly Knew Ye
The Hollywood Reporter announces that website Gawker.com will shut down next week. Univision scooped up most of Gawker's holding in a $135 million deal, but they opted to close down the main website. Of course, this is all fallout from the defamation suit which Hulk Hogan won against Gawker.com founder Nick Denton, which was funded by billionaire Peter Thiel, who Gawker.com had outed years earlier. Proving once again that revenge is a dish best served cold.
Radar Online Blind Item - Amy Schumer and the Hockey Player
When a professional hockey player asked her out, the Trainwreck actress said she agreed in an effort to impress her New York Rangers fan sister and brother-in-law. But the NHL star was 40 minutes late to the date, and brought a group of his friends!
Later that night, they went back to his apartment, where he soon got naked— and was met with a huge surprise. "He took his dick out and I became a cartoon," she wrote. "My jaw hit the floor."
"I felt like I was trying to fit an entire Thanksgiving turkey in a toilet paper roll: Not happening," she said. She ultimately decided to pass on the hookup opportunity.
The famous athlete is now married to a "gorgeous, tiny" woman, she claimed. "Whenever I see pictures of them I think, 'Good luck with that, sweetheart!'"

Avril Lavigne Moves On from Nickelback
It appears that Avril Lavigne's reconciliation with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger was short lived, because TMZ spotted her out on a date in NYC with Ryan Cabrera. Remember him? He used to live with Ashley Simpson. Now he lives with Avril Lavigne. Upgrade? Well, it for sure is for Avril. Now she never needs to listen to Chad Kroeger's awful singing voice in the shower again. Amber Heard Aspiring to Sainthood
Well, color me surprised. TMZ reports that Amber Heard really did give away her entire $7 million divorce settlement from Johnny Depp. She released the following statement: "The donation will be divided equally between the ACLU, with a particular focus to stop violence against women, and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where I have worked as a volunteer for the past 10 years. Money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves. Hopefully this experience results in a positive change in the lives of people who need it the most."
Lest you think she's just talking out of her ass, Children's Hospital LA released the following statement thanking Heard: "her generosity will support the lifesaving treatments and cures that CHLA provides for critically ill children each year."
Well, good on her. Although the cynic in me is saying this is why she traded up from a millionaire to a billionaire. How much money is Elon Musk gifting her that she can afford to just give away $7 million like it's nothing? If she gets less messy with the media coverage, I could learn to respect that hustle!

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Psychobabble and a Paper Bag
Some people who get plastic surgery like to keep it to themselves. Nothing wrong with that.
However, when their looks have changed dramatically, it’s crazy to think that no will notice or that no one will comment.
When a celebrity not lies about having work done… then doubles down on the lie… and then acts indignant when multiple parties call her out on it… and then attacks the press… and then starts babbling more nonsense…. the people around her are going to start worrying.
"It’s not good. An interviewer asks a simple question about her appearance, she gets mad, goes off on some incoherent rant that’s part defensive and part psychobabble.
Yeah, we’re a little panicky at this point. You can modify a poster or CGI a film, but what are we supposed to do for personal interviews, put a bag over her freaking head?
She’s losing it, but we still have a big part of the press tour to go and we can’t have her fighting with the media. If it gets worse, we might have to have her fake an illness or something and let [the actors in the film] carry the tour."

The New York Times Profiles Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart was recently profiled in the New York Times' T Magazine. Here are some of the highlights from her interview:
On her relationship with fame, after overcoming "debilitating physical anxiety" in her early 20s:
“[The attention] is no longer negative or fear-based. I do think that’s because of the storms I have weathered. It’s not that they make you stronger or calloused — but they do make you a human. I’m not the typical showman. But at the same time, I want so badly to expose myself. I want to be understood and I want to be seen, and I want to do that in the rawest, purest, most naked way I can.”
On Robert Pattinson:
“People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me. It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value.”
On girlfriend Alicia Cargile:
“Look how cute she is. I love her so much. I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive. I still want to protect my personal life, but I don’t want to seem like I’m protecting the idea, so that does sort of feel like I owe something to people.”
On navigating how much of her life to keep private:
“How do you feel like you’re not being stolen from, yet at the same time not guard yourself to the point of depriving yourself of so much goodness in life?"
On insomnia:
"Nothing killed me. I was skinny as hell, I looked crazy, but I was fine. I now have faith in my body to carry on, and that has made me a better actor.”
On her grueling work schedule during the filming of Personal Shopper:
“As a younger person, I would have lost steam: ‘I’m tired. I don’t feel good. I’m sick.’ Instead I tried to make myself more sick, more tired, just to see if there ever was a breaking point, and there wasn’t.”
On painting:
“Yeah, I mean, I’m not, like, good. It just feels nice to apply paint to something.”
On making a short film inspired by one of her poems:
“It’s basically about that moment when you wake up and you get dressed and you realize. I’m not sad anymore. I’m not saturated anymore. I’ve been dropped back into everyone else’s reality and now I can live again.”

Andy Samberg Talks Modesty
Andy Samberg recently sat down for an interview with Playboy. Here's what he had to say:
Ken Jeong, Jason Segel and Sacha Baron Cohen have gone full monty in movie comedies. Will you up the ante?
"I don’t think I’d ever do it, because of the internet. Once you show your dick, that’s the first image that comes up on Google for the rest of your life. I don’t want my dick on the internet."
You got hired as an SNL cast member, and your Lonely Island partners were hired as writers. Did the pressure of doing the show put a strain on your relationship?
"I had done a lot of stand-up and we led with me for that first audition. Akiva didn’t want to be on camera. He took a writer’s meeting. Jorma auditioned, but he was a theater major. He is super funny and would have been great on the show, but he never did the Groundlings or tried improv or anything like that. We all wrote and submitted a writers’ packet together, and Jorma and Akiva helped me write my audition. The fact that we all got hired was incredible and a victory for the three of us. Once we were hired, we started to make those videos together, and it was always about the three of us. The nature of the show sometimes threatened to drive a stake between us, but we rarely let it happen."
When did you first feel “I’m famous”?
"You get hired on SNL, but except for the show’s die-hard fans, nobody knows who you are until you do something that everyone’s talking about. After we did Lazy Sunday with Chris Parnell in 2005, I would be out in public and people would go, “Hey, Lazy Sunday!” That first wave feels the biggest because you’re going from not at all famous to thinking, Holy shit, somebody just spotted me on the street. It’s both exhilarating and terrifying, but the truth is, you’ve just scraped the surface to the point that, if there’s a Google search for you, now at least there’s something there. The second big one was Dick in a Box, and to this day that’s still probably the biggest. Lorne likes to joke about the thing you’ll be most remembered for on your tombstone. He’s like, “I’ll be Lorne ‘SNL’ Michaels, and you’ll be Andy ‘Dick in a Box’ Samberg.” I’m very comfortable with that. I love that video. I still find it really funny, and it was huge for our careers. It was a moment. There was a Justin Timberlake explosion happening and the video got picked up everywhere. That was the first time I really felt the power of the media and the first time I was getting more attention than I was comfortable with."
There is, of course, that other comedy cliché—that all comedians are depressed. Have you ever had to dip into the Xanax or talk to a therapist?
"Yeah, I have. Not a ton. I’m generally a pretty happy person. For a lot of people, the honesty and realness that produce the best comedy means you’re facing the world as it is. You’re trying to uncover some truth, and that can be painful and scary. There’s a lot of things about being a human on earth that there are no answers to, and that’s the scariest part of it, depending on your faith and what you believe. I think most comedians believe in comedy, which we do with some pretty daunting unanswered questions, and that can lead to depression. That said, when I get down it’s generally more about working myself too hard and losing my handle. Or something incredibly sad happens in the world or in my world and I’m affected by that. I definitely feel things deeply. And when you feel great joy and major highs, you are susceptible to major lows."
You didn’t wait until college to lose your virginity, though, did you?
"I was, I believe, 16 or 17. It was at summer camp. I was on the junior staff and she was girls’ head counselor. She was 24. She could tell I probably was a virgin. I was flirty; there was a friendship and a playful thing between us, but I didn’t really think it would ever be real because of the age difference. I think she just decided for me. It was only once. I wouldn’t say I was good, but it was great for me."

TV Line Blind Item - This Fall's Biggest Casting News Has Not Been Announced
You need a scorecard to keep track of all the personnel shakeups underway on your favorite returning shows (hey, such a scorecard exists!). But there’s one slide conspicuously missing from TVLine’s comprehensive Fall TV Cast Changes roundup — and with good reason. You see, this particular piece of casting news is intended to be a spit-take-worthy shock to end all spit-take-worthy shocks.
According to sources, a returning series on one of the Big 5 networks is getting ready to pull off what will likely go down as one of the coolest, most surprising casting stunts of the year. The onscreen twist — which was shot earlier this month under a Star Wars-level veil of secrecy — is set to air during the show’s season premiere.

David Schwimmer Talks Friends Fame
David Schwimmer recently sat down for an interview on the Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast. Here's what he had to say about instant fame when Friends blew up overnight:
“It was pretty jarring and it messed with my relationship to other people in a way that took years, I think, for me to kind of adjust to and become comfortable with. As an actor, the way I was trained, my job was to observe life and to observe other people, and so I used to walk around with my head up, and really engaged and watching people. The effect of celebrity was the absolute opposite. It made me want to hide under a baseball cap, not be seen. And I realized after a while that I was no longer watching people; I was trying to hide.
So I was trying to figure out: How do I be an actor in this new world, in this new situation? How do I do my job? So that was tricky. Because you are in their home, there’s something very approachable about actors on television, and I think especially in a half-hour comedy, where there’s something very comforting about it. In our show I'm the same guy for 10 years, you can rely on me to be a certain way and you know me — or you think you know me.”
Will Smith Talks Marriage Counseling
Will Smith recently sat down for an interview with The Sun, where he talked about another secret to his marriage to wife of 19 years Jada Smith. Can we really still keep calling them "secrets" when he keeps talking about them? Anyway, here's what he had to say this time:
“I’ve done a lot of marriage counseling. What happens in a marriage once you do counseling, the truth comes out. And you sit across from your wife and you’ve said all of your truth and she has said all of her truth. You look at each other and you can’t imagine you could ever possibly love each other again now the truth is out. It creates a dark moment. But for me it’s the dark before the dawn. When the truth comes out and people have to say who they are and what they think, you get to know who they are. I think that’s the cleansing before you get to the other side that is understanding and moving forward in our relationship.”
Taylor Swift Starts to Repair Her Image
Taylor Swift's perfectly crafted "good girl" image has taken a ding lately, what with her shoving that whole Tom Hiddleston relationship down everyone's throats, and being called out for lying about her millionth Kanye feud. Page Six reports that in response to the recent flooding in Louisiana, Taylor Swift has donated $1 million to Louisiana flood relief. She released the following statement:
“We began The 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking. I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time.”
Good on you, Taylor. Her "good girl" image is much easier to buy when she actually does good things, instead of setting up PR stunts and getting into skirmishes with Kardashians.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Twenty or Thirty Years Difference
This actress started out in the business when she was very young. She’s not that old now. Closer in age to Taylor Swift than Gwyneth Paltrow. It’s just that she’s been around forever.
She’s dated a lot. Mostly a bunch of actors. There was even a rumor a couple of years ago that she was dating a very famous messed-up actor we’ve been talking about a lot lately.
A couple of years before that, it was that cute actor who didn’t quite treasure her the way she needed to be treasured. A few years before that, it was a very famous athlete who has since gone down in disgrace.
If you just consider those three guys, she doesn’t seem to have a type. Those three are different from each other as can be.
Well, she’s got a new type… and we’ll tell you why.
Her sister recently married someone who is much older. Since that formula worked for her sister, our actress has now decided that it might work for her, too. So for the past couple of years, she’s been focused on guys twenty and thirty years older than her!
While it does seem weird when young and beautiful dates someone old and not-so-attractive, our actress has a plan. She really wants to get married in the next two years so that she and her sister can raise their kids together.
Old guys aren’t still sowing their wild oats and will be able to commit faster. She doesn’t particularly care how wealthy they are. She is definitely no gold-digger. Her wallet is probably fatter than the men she’s dating.
While it’s good to have goals, but there might be one catch with her newest old man. He’s still married. Whoops!

Kardashian Korner
IKhloe Kardashian recently took to her app to remind everyone to check their moles. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by E!:
"I have moles everywhere, and a couple years ago, I noticed one growing under my breast. I immediately looked it up online and found out that if a mole is growing and changing shape, you should go to the doctor—so I did. They took the whole thing out and they biopsied it. There was one mole I had on my back that was skin cancer. I had 8 inches of skin removed. It was definitely painful because it was a lot of skin, but most of the time, the removals haven't been that bad. Now that I've gone through this a couple of times, I am extra aware of my skin, body and moles. I urge you to check yourself frequently! I haven't had a problem in years, but wanted to share my experience with you so that if you notice something doesn't look right, you will take action and take care of your health!"
Always a good reminder, even when it comes from a Kardashian.

Lainey Gossip Blind Item - Step Down
Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are still together 10 years later. It doesn’t always end up that way.
This superstar is single and she’s been feeling herself lately. Boys, unfortunately, have always been a blind spot. On a recent project, a 19 year old dancer caught her eye. So she went for it. They hooked up. Which was great. Until he told everyone – the crew, the other dancers. When she found out she was mortified. She freaked. Mega drama. She couldn’t look at him anymore. She didn’t want to see his face again, ever. Insisted on drastic changes so that he would no longer have the privilege of being associated with her and she would no longer have to be reminded of him. That’s not the official reason, of course. Creative differences are always the official reason. But, behind the scenes, from people who were there, this is what everyone is talking about.

Shaun White Sued For Being Gross
TMZ reports that pro snowboarder Shaun White also has a band called Bad Things. Who knew? His bandmate Lena Zawaideh, with whom Shaun formed the band back in 2008, is suing him for sexual harassment, and claims that she hasn't been paid for part of her work since being fired from the band in 2014. Her sexual harassment claims include White sending her pictures of "engorged and erect penises" and made her watch disturbing porn "including videos sexualizing human fecal matter." Hey, John Mayer just found a new best friend!
As for White, his defense is that he talks to all of his friends this say. Or you can read his whole statement: "Many years ago, I exchanged texts with a friend who is now using them to craft a bogus lawsuit. There is absolutely no coincidence in the timing of her claims, and we will defend them vigorously in court."

Depp Divorce Finalized
Our long national nightmare is over. TMZ reports that Johnny Depp and Amber heard have settled their divorce one day before it was set to go to trial. Amber is walking away with $7 million, which is a million less than the $8 million that was once on the table, and which includes attorneys' fees. Oh, and the judge dismissed the Amber's domestic violence "case" with prejudice, meaning she can never refile (and it was baseless).
The couple released a joint statement. Let's break it down:
"Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love." Okay, fair.
"Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains." Notice that they put that caveat in there, not saying that there were no false accusations made full stop. Yes, this is me throwing MAJOR side-eye at Amber.
"There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm." I'm betting Johnny gave Amber a million less for her insistence on including this statement.
"Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity." Sure she will. The "Amber Heard Thirsty Fame Heaux School For Girls." The charity already has its first success story - she's traded up to Elon Musk. Fingers crossed he doesn't marry her too, or we'll all have to relive this mess in a couple of years.

This primarily-TV actor should be careful about kicking a man when he’s down and calling it karma.
While he may be good looking, our TV actor is not particularly well liked. By piling on to his ex-castmate’s woes, he is basically saying it’s OK to call out others publicly on their bad behavior.
There are plenty of women AND former cast mates who would love to explain why our actor is unmarried. We don’t think he would be particularly happy about that.

Kardashian Korner
A few Kardashian updates today. First up, Kendall Jenner has a stalker. TMZ reports that when Kendall returned home to her new Hollywood Hills home on Sunday night, there was a random dude loitering in her driveway. When she opened her gate and drove in, the guy followed. Jenner called 911 and stayed in her car until the police arrived. Turns out random dude was a stalker. This is why all the Kardashians are holed up in Kardashian Kountry - the whole place is one giant gated community, and they clearly need that extra security. Looks like Kendall will have to think about moving back to the family 'hood soon!
Next up, TMZ reports that The Game released a new song in which he says "I fucked three Kardashians." I mean, who hasn't? If that isn't already a t-shirt, it will be soon!
Lastly, here's the first look at Rob & Chyna's messy reality show. I can't wait to hear him refer to himself as #SockMogul in the third person!
Dancing With the Stars Champion Nyle DiMarco Will be a Chippendale
People reports that Dancing With the Stars' first deaf champion, reigning winner Nyle DiMarco, 27, is headed to Las Vegas to host the Chippendales live show starting in Las Vegas. DiMarco also won America's Next Top Model. Here's what he had to say about the gig: "I am so excited to join Chippendales Las Vegas as their celebrity guest host beginning in September. Chippendales is an iconic brand and legendary show – headlining a production like this with such a talented cast of performers is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!"
