Anthony Scaramucci Getting Divorced

Page Six reports that new White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is getting divorced from wife Deirdre Ball after three years of marriage. She was the one to file, allegedly because of his "naked political ambition," and "question to get close to President Trump, whom she despises." But I think we all know the real reason she's divorcing him - it was okay to be married to someone that embarrassing when only a couple of people knew how embarrassing this dude was, but now that the whole world knows how embarrassing this dude is, she's cutting her losses. Good riddance!

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Rent to Own Actress

This incredibly famous actress mentioned that she she recently bought a house… but didn’t realize that she would have to furnish it.

"My jaw dropped when she said that she had to have someone run out and buy a couple of couches for her because she doesn’t own any furniture. That’s a lie! She has owned a bunch of houses, and furnished all of them! Whenever she moves out, she puts the stuff in storage. The woman has AT LEAST four big storage units in [location] and [location], filled the top with her kid’s stuff and her stuff and tons of furniture, including multiple couches!!! What do people think she did in her old houses? Rent furniture on a weekly basis from Rent a Center?"

Somehow we just can’t see her filling out an application at one of those rent-to-own places so she can get a sofa for $10 a week and a TV for $15 a week!

Miranda Lambert Stays Away From Politics

Miranda Lambert recently sat down for an interview with Billboard; here's what she had to say:

On her album The Weight of These Wings, released in December:
“I just didn't need to talk about the record. If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened [with Blake Shelton], it’s all on there. There’s no mystery anymore -- take from it what you will...I walked in [the studio] with guns blazing. I just knew one thing: I didn't want a breakup record. I was like, ‘Let’s feel it all.’ I was ready to have the days where I can’t even stand up and the days where I’m celebrating.”

On her image in the industry:
“I’m not going to try to fit in, but I’m not trying to be an outlaw -- I’m just trying to do me. And if that’s carving my own path or making my own lane, then I’ll do that. I’m more known for my fiery personality and my confidence, but that’s not me all the time. I won’t look at things ever again in the same light, because different things in your life bring you to a deeper level with yourself. I won’t take pain for granted anymore.”

On how she unwinds:
“I go to my farm, and I don’t wear makeup for a week or wash my hair. I put it in a bandanna and wear cutoffs and play with my dogs.”

On the lack of female representation in country music:
“It sucks. It makes me mad. You can print out any top chart, and you’ll see maybe a couple females, or not even one. I’m thankful for my spot headlining festivals. I’ve worked for it -- but I shouldn't be on a whole show with no girls...I think there was a time [for women] before, and there will be again, and that doesn't stop any of us. I love country radio when they all play me, and when they don’t, I think that sucks...If I get a door kicked open, I want to hold it open for the girls coming behind me.”

On staying out of politics:
“I am a 100 percent believer in not ever using the platform that I’ve built for anything other than music, because music to me is an escape from your own reality. I don’t want to go to a show and hear somebody preach about their opinions. It’s so divided [in politics], you can’t win anyway -- and what are you winning? For someone to agree with you, and now you’ve spoken your piece and pissed off many other people, just for one person to go, ‘She’s right’? It doesn't do any good.”

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Married w/ Kids

Nicole Kidman famously called the time after her Academy Award win the “loneliest point of her life.”

This A list actress can definitely sympathise. She’s at the height of her professional career, but her personal life is far from idyllic.

‘She’s always been one of those girls that wants to get married and have tons of children,’ spills the source. ‘It hasn’t happened yet and doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.’

Justin Ran Over a Paparrazo

E! News reports that after leaving church in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night, Justin Bieber hit a paparazzo with his truck, as one does when leaving a place of worship.

An eyewitness stated, "Justin slid into his truck in the alley. He got in the driver's seat and saw all the photographers flashing. He drove out slowly, and there was a group of photographers on the driver's side and a group on the passenger's side. Once he drove out, the driver's side paparazzo started walking around the front of the car. It was like a mob scene, flashing at him. The group on the right passenger side got pinned against Kourtney Kardashian's car, parked on the sidewalk. The guy fell down in the mob—kind of under the front of the car—and the wheel ran over his leg when Justin accelerated. When the photographers stopped flashing and knelt down to help their friend, that's when Justin realized he hit someone and got out of the car to help."

Bieber spoke to police when they arrived on the scene, and was not arrested. And don't worry, the pap is just fine, and will live to pap another day.

Ray Romano is Done with Sitcoms

Ray Romano recently spoke at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour about his future in sitcoms. Here's what he had to say, as reprinted by Page Six:

“Well after ‘Raymond,’ I didn’t want to do a sitcom again. I always wanted to keep comedy in my work, but yes, I was more attracted to maybe…maybe something dramatic. But it was small. It was little baby steps. Because it’s very hard to get people to forget that character they’ve seen for nine years.

On whether or not he is surprised at his body of work, which includes stints on Parenthood and HBO's Vinyl:
“I guess the answer is yes, because I’m surprised I can do anything. When I did ‘Vinyl’ last year, or two years ago, I was delving into something very dark, and I had no idea whether I could pull it off or whether I did pull it off. So, yeah, every time I do something that people consider good or successful, it is a surprise to me. But, you know, it’s fun. It’s fun to try it. I still feel like I’m learning and growing in this non-comedic area ...I’m very insecure about all of this, and it’s a learning process. And with each job I get, with each role I take, I kind of discover that I can do something, you know, a little more, a little more dramatic.”

The Joanna Krupa Vag Lawsuit is Still a Thing

TMZ reports that Brandi Glanville has asked a judge to throw out Joanna Krupa's lawsuit against her after Brandi accused Joanna Krupa of being less than fresh. Krupa has yet to turn over medical records to the court, which Glanville asked the court for back in January, so Glanville thinks the suit should be dunzo. In response, Krupa's team filed docs with the court containing a list of witnesses for the case, including Lisa Vanderpump, Mohamed Hadid, Andy Cohen, Mark Consuelos, and Howard Stern.

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Professional or Party

Lots of stars at San Diego Comic Con last weekend. Not all of them were well-behaved!

Attending an event like this poses an interesting dilemma: Do you represent yourself and your show and your network professionally… or do you party?

Let’s talk about the male star of this popular cable television series. He’s not a teen, but he plays one on TV. A spy at the event tells us:

"[Actor] was at a private party sponsored by [redacted]. He got so completely trashed he literally had to be carried out of the party by two people!"

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Hidden Assets

They never say believe the gossip you hear in restrooms, but sometimes it’s too juicy to pass up on.

This C lister, who went through a very infamous bankruptcy case a few years ago, isn’t bankrupt at all apparently.

“[name omitted] hid their assets in a relative’s name,’ says the source. ‘Everyone knows. It infuriated the people involved.’

So, tell me, Gossipers:

Kardashian Korner

Us Weekly reports that the surrogate hired by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is three months along with the couple's third child, which puts the due date in January 2018.

other Kardashian news, Amber Rose recently sat down for an interview with Complex's Everyday Struggle talk show, where she addressed her 2010 breakup with Kanye West. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by Us Weekly:

"I see this a lot on the internet: Amber’s going to hurt him. I have been the one that has been heartbroken. I have never cheated on any of my boyfriends. I still have never said anything mean about Kanye. This is after six, seven years of constant bullying from him. You don’t say that about my baby. I was quiet for so long. The only thing I got from him was fame. I had to just take that [loss]. I had to take that heartbreak on top of it."

On their relationship inspiring Kanye's 2010 Grammy-winning album  My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy:
"It’s a great part of history and it’s a great part of hip-hop, and I’m happy to be a part of it, but during that time was not a great time for me. I’m famous, and I’m broke. I can’t date anyone else. I can’t say anything on the internet because Kanye has such a voice. If I was going to kill myself, I would have done it during those times.”

And on Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna:
"Chyna is an amazing mom, she’s an amazing person. She’s extremely loving. I was around when her and Rob first met and I’ll tell you firsthand that they very much loved each other. … She’s my sister. They both wanted to have Dream. It wasn’t a mistake.”

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Drenched and Dumb

Here’s another TV star who managed to shock a few onlookers with his behavior at a San Diego Comic Con party!

This actor is older and taller than the one in the first blind item. He is best known as the lead on a now-defunct TV show that ended its run a few years ago. He was also in one of those Marvel superhero movies a few years back.

He was nice to the fans when he was around them, but at a private party, a different side emerged after a few drinks!

"He was completely drenched in sweat and obviously trashed. He was ranting to some business types about how dumb the fans are who come to Comic Con."

We’re hoping this was just the alcohol talking. If it’s how he really feels, he should leave Comic Con and never come back!

Angelina Jolie Talks Life After Brad

Angelina Jolie is on the September cover of Vanity Fair. Here's what she had to say in the accompanying interview:

On life post-split:
“It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air. [This house] is a big jump forward for us, and we’re all trying to do our best to heal our family.”

Recalling her first trip to Cambodia:
“I found a people who were so kind and warm and open, and, yes, very complex. You drive around here you can see a lot of people with many things, but not often expressing happiness. You go there, and you see the families come out with their blanket and their picnic to watch a sunset.”

On making the film 'First They Killed My Father:
“[Maddox] was the one who said, ‘It’s time to do it.’ [I knew that Maddox would be deeply involved in the production, that he’d be] standing there watching horrors that his countrymen did to each other. [So] he had to be ready...There wasn’t a person who was working on the movie who didn’t have a personal connection. They weren’t coming to do a job. They were walking in the exodus for the people whom they had lost in their family, and it was out of respect for them that they were going to re-create it . . . It completed something for them.”

On her breakup with Brad in 2016:
“Things got bad. I didn’t want to use that word. . . . Things became ‘difficult.’ ...[Our lifestyle] was not in any way a negative. That was not the problem. That is and will remain one of the wonderful opportunities we are able to give our children . . . They’re six very strong-minded, thoughtful, worldly individuals. I’m very proud of them. They’ve been very brave. They were very brave. In times they needed to be.” We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing . . . They’re not healing from divorce. They’re healing from some . . . from life, from things in life.”

On Brad Pitt's article in GQ:
“We care for each other and care about our family, and we are both working towards the same goal. I was very worried about my mother, growing up—a lot. I do not want my children to be worried about me. I think it’s very important to cry in the shower and not in front of them. They need to know that everything’s going to be all right even when you’re not sure it is.”

Celebrity Real Estate - Ali Adler Edition

Robert Pattinson Talks Expulsion

Former Twilight star Robert Pattinson recently sat down for an interview with the Howard Stern Show. Here are some highlights from his interview:

On not smiling enough in Twilight:
"If you're going into a relationship with someone, the way to make it really intense is if you can barely talk to each other, you can barely touch each other—it's incredibly serious all time. That's what teenage relationships are. But everyone kind of wanted it to be like, 'No they should just be like happy and having fun. That's what people want.' (The producers gave him a copy of the book with all the parts where Edward smiled highlighted.) I got a different kind of highlighter and highlighted all the times when he frowned. [My agents] flew up. [They] said you have to do the opposite of what you're doing now or you're going to be fired today...I came back after lunch and was like, 'Hi!' I was probably going a little too miserable, so there was some kind of compromise made."

On the fandom not letting him live:
"It's one of the most frustrating things in the world...you kind of get stuck in this position where like people…you have to make these decisions, like whether you want to let the crazy people in. Basically, for whatever reason with Twilight, I don't know if it's a specific thing with the audience, but there's like a crap troupe of crazies who like think like every single decision you're making is either creating some kind of conspiracy and so, you kind of think, like, to protect it, you kind of think, I want to create a big boundary between it, but it makes it difficult for your actual relationship."

On getting expelled from school:
“I’ve never actually said this before. I was, like, stealing porno magazines and selling them at school. No one knew at all what to do with me. I would sell it for like 20 pounds … like 30 bucks...I used to go in and take like one or two and put them in my bag...I was in my school uniform when I was doing it, so it was kind of risky. But, then at the end, I got so cocky that I would take the entire rack and I got caught. A couple of days later, everything fell down. Basically, every single one of my friends snitched on me."

TV Show Roundup 7/27/17

Casting News:

The Hollywood Reporter announces that OWN has renewed Queen Sugar for a third season.

JVDB Is So Over Dawson's Creek

James Van Der Beek recently appeared on the "Allegedly With Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss" podcast, where he reflected back on Dawson's Creek. Here's what he had to say, as reprinted by Us Weekly:

“I’ve never seen the last episode. I remember, I think, how it ended.”

On whether or not he was satisfied with the ending:
“Sure. It’s interesting. It’s a weird thing because people obviously … when you make any kind of entertainment, people own it. They own a relationship to it. It’s amazing, and the fact that it resonates with anybody today … and that they even care my thoughts on it, I feel like my thoughts on it are kind of irrelevant. I’m not as invested in that. It was something that I did, not something that I wrote. I was a part of it. Honestly, I feel like a passenger on the whole thing.”

On Dawson's Creek fans today:
“Honestly, it’s a weird thing to relate to because it’s not so immediate for me, but I do recognize that it’s immediate for people who watched it on Netflix like yesterday. I try my best to be there and be present for those kinds of questions.”

On whether or not he still cashes Dawson's Creek checks:
“No, not much. Hardly any at all. I was young. We signed really bad contracts.”

John Mellencamp Reunites with Meg Ryan

Page Six reports that John Mellencamp has reunited with Meg Ryan. The couple previously broke up in 2014 after three years of dating. Mellencamp previously told Howard Stern: “I loved Meg Ryan. She hates me to death. I think it’s because I’m a child.” A source says of the couple, “Meg was at his recent Forest Hills Stadium concert, dancing on the side of the stage.”

U2's Adam Clayton is a Father

Page Six reports that US bassist Adam Clayton, 57, and wife Mariana, 38, have welcomed their first child together. Their daughter Alba was born recently. The couple has been married since 2013.

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer Talk Broad City Priorities

Broad City executive producers Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer sat down for an interview during the 2017 TCA Summer Press Tour ahead of the show's season four premiere to talk about their priorities for the show. Here's what they had to say, as reprinted by E! News:

Jacobson: "The first thing that we think about with the show is the funny, so it's a comedy first and obviously the friendship is the core of it. So the tool part is this other layer. We're not putting mission statements on the board."

Glazer: The platform being a tool of ours is not really influencing the duration of the series. Its more about the story and the growth that we want to explore within these characters. Each season, we have these goals for them, but by the time the season is over, it's something different than we expected in the first place. We are talking about the life of the series at this point."

He hopes to remain friends with her, [but] she is pretty upset."
