No TV tonight for me and Opster. VDay date night. Splurged and bought live spot prawns. Not gonna be thrilled killing them however. Also Opter got a huge market steak butterflied that looks like a big bloody meaty heart. Trying to decide if I want to buy this amazing chocolate dessert from a gourmet grocery or make that gooey chocolate cake but individual servings vs the big pan. Either size will require vanilla ice cream. Or I can get a pint of gelato from downstairs. Walking down to see if they have any. Mmmmm.

Me and Mr. Min Pin ordered a couple of Dominos Pizzas and chocolate lava cake for dessert. Turned our back for a minute and Lily min pin knocked the lava cake on the floor and inhaled it almost completely before I could grab her. Little butt nut! So we've been closely watching her for the past 3 hours to make sure she's okay. It appears they don't use much real cocoa in those thank god. Hope everyone is having an excellent day!
MinPin. Hope doggo is okay! That's the dessert I was going to make, the lava cake. Got off my lazy ass and went to Draegers and hot my Chocolate Gateau after all. The Opster served that to me on our second VDay and they still make it after 18 yrs. dense chocolate with chopped pecans and honey crust. Decadently delicious.
We've been joking that we're gonna start calling Lily - Lava Cake Lily (I said that was her pole dancing, stripper name). That little fart ate virtually all of the damn lava cake (they give you 2 individual servings in an order) and that little piggy didn't even break a sweat. I'm super relieved that she's okay but I was pissed about my dessert!
Mr. Min Pin went back and got me another one after we had finished our pizza. They only had one left so they gave it to us free. I guess they make a certain number and when they're gone, they're gone. I don't know how they ended up with an odd one though. At least I got some (even though my little piggy Lava Cake Lily had a FULL order). I've got a recipe for those things. I aught to dig it out and make some myself.

***BANSHEE SPOILERS*** *Great points about RebeKai; she's another great example of how anti-heroines are portrayed on TV more broadly. While women tend to be relegated to more peripheral roles in the crime underworld, Rebecca is just another example of how these women need to leverage their own limited legitimacy by being backed by a powerful dude (ie Nancy Botwin types). *Charlie & Deva will follow the route of her parents I'm guessing. I agree she's really starting to fall into angsty teen stereotype done to death. *I couldn't tell; my guess was Hood stabbed him in the femoral artery or liver. *This search for Clayton is gnarly as expected. One of the craziest cases I was close to was a homicide of a cop; it was a TOTAL shitshow *Hood is a dumb ass for (1) going all Dexter-style to the crime scene before the cops got there and (2) then also for not instantly shooting Clayton. Then he (3) has the nerve to yell at HER for not shooting (which was also stupid) **SOPRANOS SPOILER: This episode reminded me a lot thematically and stylistically of Pine Barrens, the episode where they chase the Russian commando guy through the snowy woods and just can't get him

Lol @MinPin! Great breakdown of Banshee! They've been foreshadowing Kai and the nurse for a while so I was not surprised by that. I also wonder what Rebecca can really do about it. At least we got some time with Job!
Yes I think Rebecca will run to Lucas for comfort because she knows it will piss the Kaibear Off and 2. He can't just kill Lucas hood like he killed off her other conquests. . Putting the nurse in her/his/their bed will forever change their relationship and undermine her oncunquestionable trust in Kai especially after that business deal tail spanking. . I think job will start covering for Rebecca out of spite. I think job will start throwing his loyalty to Rebecca and they will both work on slowly gaslighting Kaiser. .after their "road trip" a few episodes back.."well let's get me some practice! !" They definitely bonded and have a mutual respect for each other.. something Kai never shows job.. I would look to see this ^^^^^in the run up to the finale...
@sugarbread - I considered that Rebecca might run back to Lucas to piss Kai off, but you know Lucas isn't going to want anything to do with her because he's too fucked up over Siobhan getting killed. I think Rebecca and Job are gonna hook up, but I'm just not quite sure. They showed that snippet of back story on how Kai rescued Job from something (I've missed some stuff from last season) so I don't know if that was something new, but it made it look like Job owed Kai a pretty big debt for saving him. They make it look like Job would do ANYTHING for Proctor, yet they keep showing him STARING at Rebecca and I can't tell what that means!!!
You know the shit is gonna hit the fan when the sheriff finds out his ex wife who he had started banging again is now (literally) in bed with Proctor. The plot definitely thickens. I think Rebecca is gonna do something to fuck up those black dudes that Kai embarrassed her in front of. I think they're all gonna have a little "accident".
