Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Two Masters
This attractive celebrity couple is married and has a young family. They need a little more space and recently went house hunting.
While they were walking around, he was making comments about why the particular house they were looking at wasn’t quite perfect.
"[The Actor] said that he wanted two master bedrooms. Not two bedrooms each with an en suite, but two completely separate masters with huge closets and sitting rooms or studies. [The Actress] looked at him totally annoyed and said, “Really? Really? You want to start that now?” He walked away but it was obvious that they were mad at each other and perhaps planning on separate bedrooms."
Yikes.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - No She Is Not Engaged
She may be rich and famous… but it’s her dad who did all the work to get her there.
She loves publicity almost as much as she loves money. If she needs to date someone controversial/hot/married to get attention, so be it. And, of course, she makes sure that the paparazzi feel like they are getting their money’s worth.
"She told some people to leak it to [the media] that she was engaged, put on the ring, made sure they got the photos… and then coyly denied everything. It’s a bit of a game to her and the media loves to play along."
My, what a fun game! Her parents must be so proud of how hard she works.
So, no, she is not engaged. She bought the ring herself. However, she loves it when her games put her on the top of the gossip sites!

Actress Chloe Bennet Claps Back at Instagram Troll
E! News that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Star Chloe Bennet recently posted on Instagram praising Ed Skrein from stepping down from his role in the Hellboy reboot, where the character is supposed to be Asian. When a commenter asked Bennet why she changed her last name from Wang to Bennet, Chloe had this to say:
"Changing my last name doesn't change the fact that my BLOOD is half Chinese, that I lived in China, speak Mandarin or that I was culturally raised both American and Chinese. It means I had to pay my rent, and Hollywood is racist and wouldn't cast me with a last name that made them uncomfortable. I'm doing everything I can, with the platform I have, to make sure no one has to change their name again, just so they can get work. So kindly love, fuck off."

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Don't Mess With His Ex
This musical couple works together and is dating. Perhaps we should say “dating.” He likes the publicity almost as much as she does.
Almost.
She definitely works harder to push the couple story line than he does. So far, they’ve been “pregnant”, “moving in together”, “in love”, “engaged”, and “secretly married.”
They usually get along OK. However, he recently blew up at her… after she fed a nasty story about his ex to the media!
"He knows that her people contact the gossip sites and give them dumb stories all the time about them being pregnant or them getting engaged. He doesn’t care about that. He does care about [his ex-wife], though.
He was yelling on the phone that he knew that [his girlfriend] had planted some nasty story about [his ex-wife]. Even though they are divorced, he is protective of [his ex-wife] and he doesn’t want anyone to malign her. He was yelling that [his girlfriend] “crossed a line” when she did that and there would be “trouble” over it!"
Of course, he can’t voice his dissatisfaction with her in public. But he sure can yell in private!
Don’t mess with his Ex!

Nev Schulman Talks Adulting
Catfish host Nev Schulman recently sat down for an interview with Us Weekly to talk about married life and being a dad. Here's what he had to say:
On what keeps his marriage healthy:
“Always try to laugh as much as possible. Giggling and snuggling are the two sort of staples of our relationship.”
On fatherhood:
“My face actually hurts from smiling so much. I'm like sore from all the funny faces and smiling!...[I] can't wait till she's running around so that I can play sports with her and chase her around.”
On his new show We Need to Talk:
“It's basically a show about relationships. After the last five years, obviously helping people try to find love … what do you do when you do find it and you want to keep it? You gotta work through some shit. This is a show that's honest and sometimes a little embarrassing, but it's real and it's about the things that come up when you're a couple.”

WTF Remake of the Day - Lord of the Flies Edition
Deadline reports that two men got together and decided to remake Lord of the Flies. Except with girls. Because who knows how to write teenage girls better than two middle-aged men? Gag. A group of teenage girls stranded in the jungle do not act the same as a group of teenage boys stranded in the jungle. I'm thinking their aesthetic is going to be "Mean Girls in coconut bras and grass skirts." Studios seriously give dudes money to make this shit?

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Desperate Despacito
This under-30 female singer observed the positive reception Justin Bieber got for his remix of of the hit Spanish song Despacito with great interest.
She is now talking about doing a song where she sings in Spanish. She sees this as a good opportunity to expand her fan base to the Spanish-speaking community.
The only trouble is, she doesn’t know any Spanish… and she doesn’t seem to want to learn, either!
"She said, “Well, I speak some Spanish. Just have someone help me with the pronunciation of the words I don’t know.” It turns out that all the words she knows are taco, burrito, quesadilla, gracias, and de nada. She thinks that means she knows how to speak Spanish! LOL. She doesn’t want to take lessons or anything. She just wants someone to help her fake it."
So, basically she knows menu items and a couple of courtesy words. That should certainly make for an interesting song!

What were they fighting about?
"He lied to her about where he was for a couple of days. He said he was in one place but he actually was taking a little side trip somewhere else. She was yelling, “How could you lie to me? This is why I don’t trust you!”"

John Legend Talks Masculinity
John Legend recently sat down for an interview with Cosmopolitan, where they asked him about perceptions of masculinity, and life with wife Chrissy Tiegen. Here's what he had to say:
On losing his virginity at a young age:
"Just being around older people that were having sex, it felt like I had to catch up with everybody. I think a lot pressure when you’re a [cisgender male] teen has to do with losing your virginity and negotiating relationships with women."
On facing pressure from "jock culture":
"[That] still seems to present in a lot of high schools, particularly in places like where I grew up, where football was so important and top athletes are usually the most popular guys on campus. When you’re not that guy — and I was not that guy — it feels like your value isn’t the same as theirs.”
As someone whose teenage years were spent in the company of much older peers, were there parts of yourself that you were afraid to reveal in social situations?
"Oh, I’m sure. I think you’re always policing yourself by trying to do what you think would be “cool” and accepted by other people, until you start to figure out who you really want to be. [Growing up] is an ongoing push-and-pull of you being yourself and you performing to what society expects you to be. I think the end product ends up being some kind of composite of these two factors."
How do you and Chrissy maintain an open line of communication in your marriage?
"There’s no problem with openness in our relationship. You know Chrissy. She doesn’t hold anything back! I’m quite reserved, but being with someone like her inspires me to be open about my emotions. She brings them out of me because she’s so open about hers."
Chrissy recently told one of our reporters that you’re trying for another child in the near future. Has your experience with IVF challenged your relationship?
"Having a baby is a big challenge for a couple, and going through that together strengthens your bond because if you make it through [having a child], you know you can make it through anything.
I think it’s especially difficult when you can’t conceive naturally. You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not. I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help. We’re lucky that we’re living in an age where we can conceive in other ways. [IVF] brought us Luna and hopefully it will bring us a few more awesome kids, too."
In the same interview, Chrissy revealed that she’s made a conscious decision to cut back on drinking. Did you and Chrissy have a discussion when she felt that her drinking was getting out of hand? What was that conversation like?
"We’re always honest with each other, so we discuss everything that’s on our minds. When she was thinking about how she wanted to drink less, we talked about it. I just want to support her. I want her to be happy and to live the fullest, most awesome life she can, and I want us to do it together. Whenever she sets her mind to anything, I always tell her, “I want to support you and help you do it.”"

Aaron Rogers Talks Dating Troubles
Aaron Rogers recently sat down for an interview with ESPN, where he alluded to his relationship with ex Olivia Munn. Here's what he had to say:
On what he dislikes about fame:
"Decreased privacy. And increased strain or pressure or stress associated with relationships. Friendships and dating relationships...When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it's definitely ... it's difficult. It has some extra constraints, because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections.
There's some horrible media outlets that ... you say something or do something, where there's a story, and they just go with it and run with it. When somebody thinks of you a certain way that's not real, or says something about you that's not true, I ... you know, that's not me. You're not seeing me the right way."
On looking for a sense of purpose:
"It's natural to question some of the things that society defines as success. When you achieve that and there's not this rung -- you know, another rung to climb up in this ladder -- it's natural to be like, 'OK, now what?' I think in people's lives who grew up in some sort of organized religion, there really comes a time when you start to question things more. It happens for some at an early age; others, you know, maybe a little older. That happened to me six or seven years ago...I remember asking a question as a young person about somebody in a remote rainforest. Because the words that I got were: 'If you don't confess your sins, then you're going to hell.' And I said, 'What about the people who don't have a Bible readily accessible?'"

Maria Menounos Gives Health Update
Maria Menounos appeared on The Today Show on Wednesday to give an update on her health after having surgery to remove a brain tumor earlier this year. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by Page Six:
"[The side effects are] getting better and better. Each week you see differences. I still have a hard time chewing on my right side because it was on my right side and it affected my trigeminal nerve, which controls all of your face. Little things, I can get dizzy moving my head side to side. Sometimes I can look like I’ve been in a car accident, so I just shift carefully...Overall, I feel so lucky to be functioning and to be almost normal and to not have cancer.”
On how the brain tumor has shifted her perspective:
“I’m just so much calmer I think because I just see things so differently now. I think being still is so important. I did see this all as a gift. I did shift everything into positives throughout this whole journey and I think that’s really important because we are all going to have really hard times in life. It’s how we respond, how we react, how we shift to see the good. Because out of every bad thing, something good comes if you see it, if you open your mind to it.”

Leah Remini Said No to Recruiting for Scientology
Leah Remini recently sat down for an interview with People, where she had this to say:
“They always tried to get me to, [asking] ‘Why is [Kevin James] not in? Why have you not promoted it to him?’ I was like, ‘Because he’s Catholic. He doesn’t want anything to do with it.’ They let it go after a while, but usually you’d be expected to recruit, especially with somebody you work with for nine years.”
Naturally, Scientology refutes her statement, saying, “We have nothing to do with Kevin James and never attempted to ‘recruit’ him to the Church. How does Leah Remini bring this up now after she wrote an entire book and didn’t mention it? Remini does it to get attention. Indeed, the only thing we know about Kevin James is that Remini would repeatedly tell the Church that he was a bully and we tried to counsel her to be more open and communicate so they could get along better.”

Page Six reports that Olivia de Havilland's lawsuit against FX is moving full steam ahead. FX recently tried to strike down the suit, and de Havilland is not having any of it! Here's what the lawyers for both sides had to say on the matter:
For FX: “By alleging that ‘Feud’ casts her in a false light and violates her right of publicity, Olivia de Havilland’s meritless lawsuit seeks to impinge on Defendants’ First Amendment right to create expressive works about matters of public interest. The Court should grant Defendants’ motion to strike in its entirety and award fees...In dramatizing the infamous rivalry between iconic actors Bette Davis and Joan Crawford and how that rivalry played out during the shooting of their 1962 film ‘What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?’ (“Baby Jane”), ‘Feud’ is a social commentary on Hollywood’s history of sexism, misogyny, and media manipulation, issues that still plague Hollywood today.”
For de Havilland: “If Defendants’ view of the law were to prevail, then the California statute giving a celebrity the exclusive right to control and profit from her name and identity, and protect her reputation, would be meaningless...Defendants’ own Motion establishes the legal elements of falsity, reckless disregard for the truth, and a conscious decision not to obtain Miss de Havilland’s consent while financially benefitting from her name and reputation.”
The next court date is set for September 29th, 12 days after the Emmys.

Richard Simmons Suffers Big Setback in Lawsuit
TMZ reports that after suing the National Enquirer/American Media for alleging that he was transitioning to a woman, Richard Simmons has suffered a setback in the case. A judge has ruled that calling someone transgender is not defamatory, which basically invalidates Simmons' reason for suing the publisher for defamation. Simmons' lawyer is appealing that decision, citing the recent transgender military ban, and the transgender "bathroom bills" that appear in a handful of states.

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Amazing At the VMAs
This actress was apparently at the VMAs to score… and she wasn’t too subtle about it!
"We were right next to her when she hit on three guys in a row. They were all from TV or movies, not the music industry. She used exactly the same lines on all of them. Oh, and everything was “amazing” and she would emphasize one or two words in every sentence, like this:
“I just wanted to say that I LOVED your last project. It was AMAZING. You always do such AMAZING quality work. You know, it would be AMAZING just to spend some time talking to someone as BRILLIANT as you about how you pick your projects. Are you AVAILABLE for dinner sometime next week?”
All the guys fell for it. As soon as she got their info, she was on to the next. By the third one, we were laughing, because it was like she was reciting lines from a script or something."
We’re not sure if she was there to score for personal or professional reasons, but our actress was clearly working hard not to fumble her lines!
Her last dating foray was with a professional athlete, so going back to dating someone within the industry (if that’s what she was trying to do) would be an interesting change for her!

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - A Wedding Wish
This singer’s husband ended their marriage years ago because she had a little problem.
She would frequently get drunk and nasty and tell everyone (including him) to “go fuck themselves.”
So, how did she handle the news that he had married someone else?
"She got drunk and nasty and said, “Who cares? They can both go fuck themselves!”"
Meow!
While we would hesitate to brand her as a drunk, it appears that some things never change.

Jaime King Covers Galore Magazine
Jaime King is on the September cover of Galore Magazine. Here is an excerpt from her accompanying essay:
"When I think of the women I’ve looked up to, the first person who comes to mind is my sister, Barry.
She came out at a young age in Omaha, Nebraska. Without the internet, there wasn’t a community she could take refuge in. But she was so connected to who she is, she couldn’t pretend to live or feel any other way.
My mom is the other person I think of. My mom adopted my sister when she was 24 and pregnant with me, and my sister was 13. Think of a 24-year-old, pregnant with her first child, adopting a teenager. It blows my mind.
A big shift in me happened when I was diagnosed with endometriosis and poly-cystic ovary syndrome, which are very painful reproductive illnesses. I also had countless miscarriages and almost lost my children.
I thought that because my womb didn’t work the way I was taught it should work, I was broken. We are told as women that our great value is to be able to carry life, to carry a child. If we’re fertile and abundant, we’re a worthy goddess. But for some reason, those parts don’t function for some of us...
...With social media, everyone’s created a museum of what their life is. Do we want that museum to be halls of untruths and unattainable expectations? Or do we want to create a museum where people can walk through and cry or laugh in recognition and connection?
With this shoot, it was important for me to show the different masks that we wear on a day-to-day basis. We can become conscious of those masks by taking them off and learning who we are. We don’t learn who we are through Instagram or Twitter. Those can be great tools, but we learn who we are by going inside, looking at the shadows and the light sides of ourselves."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Floppy Times Two
We have TWO very interesting updates concerning the personal life of this floppy-haired singer!
Singer has recently been testing his skills as an actor. It seems that those acting skills are in play as he recently avoided being photographed with the TWO people who drive his fans crazy!
First, he recently spent a little quality time with an ex-bandmate. Given that the two of them were always trying to disavow that they were intimately involved, it was surprising to see Ex-Bandmate driving around in Singer’s car. Singer avoided the camera.
Second, our singer was even more recently spotted in a foreign country with his rumored girlfriend. Again, Singer avoided the camera. However, Blind Gossip has some photos that prove that the two of them were there together!
What are you playing at, Floppy?
In case you are wondering, no chicken or chili was involved in either of these encounters.

Kathy Griffin is No Longer Friends with Anderson Cooper
Kathy Griffin recently sat down for an interview with New York Magazine's The Cut. Here's what the magazine had to say about the breakdown of her friendship with Anderson Cooper:
"Griffin’s best-known celebrity friendship, going back 17 years, is with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. But after TMZ published the photo, Cooper came under tremendous pressure to repudiate it. Without reaching out to Griffin, he tweeted the same night: “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.” Griffin acknowledges that Cooper was in an untenable position, but she feels that their long friendship afforded her a call or text message beforehand.
In the following days, Griffin says four of Cooper’s CNN colleagues reached out repeatedly to Griffin to check on her and offer private support (I independently confirmed this). But Cooper didn’t contact Griffin until August 10, CNN confirmed to me.
On July 26, when asked about Griffin on Andy Cohen’s talk show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Cooper claimed that Griffin was still a friend. “Yeah, we’re still friends, and look I said what I said about — I didn’t think what she said was appropriate, but I wish her the best and I hope she bounces back,” he told Cohen.
The fact that Cooper was telling people publicly they were friends, while not checking in with her, hurt Griffin deeply. When he finally reached out to her in a series of text messages, she told him their friendship was over."

George Clooney Talks Fatherly Responsibilities
George Clooney recently spoke to the Associated Press about fatherhood. Here's what he had to say, as reprinted by E! News:
"I just have to clean the barf off of my tux. It used to be my barf, but now it's the twins' barf. So, it all works out...Suddenly, you're responsible for other people, which is terrifying."
On wife Amal:
"She's like an Olympic athlete. She's doing so beautifully."
On his role:
"Right now my job is changing diapers and walking them around a little bit. I really didn't think at 56 that I would be the parent of twins. Don't make plans. You always have to just enjoy the ride."
