VH1's Real, of Real Chance of Love, Has Died
Ahmad Givens, better known as Real to VH1 viewers, has passed away at the age of 33 following a long battle with cancer, reports TMZ. Real was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013, but after beating the the first round, the cancer returned earlier this year.
Meep Was Hit By A Car
Actor Ben Woolf, who played Meep on the most recent season of American Horror Story, was hit by an SUV in Hollywood. Page Six reports that Woolf was jaywalking across Hollywood Boulevard, when he was struck. Due to his short stature (Woolf is 4'4"), Woolf was hit by the car's rear-view mirror, and sustained a serious head injury. Woolf remains in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai.
Harris Wittels of Parks and Recreation Has Died
Harris Wittels, co-executive producer of the show Parks and Recreation, was found dead of an apparent overdose at his home on Thursday. Wittels was 30. Read his full obituary at the LA Times.

Hilary Duff Files For Divorce
Hilary Duff has finally filed for divorce from husband Mike Comrie, reports TMZ. Comrie recently spent a drunken night out propositioning women at Mastro's in Beverly Hills. Duff has hired Laura Wasser, and states the date of separation as January 2013. Duff wants primary physical custody of Luca, 3. The couple has a prenup that keeps their assets separate. The couple got married in 2010.

Wine and Sass Blind Item - Keep Her Tap Dancing
This D-list mostly television actor is a known douchelord. He's been working lately, and it's driving his C-list celebrity wife, with A-list name recognition bonkers. She likes him home where she can watch him, and monitor his behavior. Not that he ever behaves.
Being crazy like a fox, he had it mandated that his wife be banned from the set of his latest project and told her it was the production's rule. No significant others allowed on set. This of course drove her crazy. Then the actor started dropping hints about how hot his co-star (a B-lister in her niche, but universally unknown) was and that was enough to send the wife into overdrive.
She spent an entire weekend he was away in a stupor of pills and booze, assembling a dossier on the costar and calling every stylist she knew asking them to help her recreate the look. One stylist was genuinely concerned about the behavior and called the actor only to have him laugh and say something like, "Daddy needs a boat," and hung up.

Us Weekly reports that actress Ellen Barkin, 60, has called off her engagement to human rights lawyer Ben Emmerson, 51. The couple got engaged over New Year's, but Barkin began to have second thoughts about their fast-paced courtship. The couple met at the wedding of George Clooney and Amul Alamuddin in September. Barkin returned the ring to Emmerson.

Jay Z Hit With Paternity Suit
Rapper Jay Z, 45, has been slapped with a paternity suit, reports Page Six. Rymir Satterthwaite, 21, is alleging that his mother Wanda hooked up with the rapper in the 90's, and collaborated on his creation. Rymir has been fighting to get Jay Z to take a paternity test since 2010, when in a very Maury moment, Wanda found out that the dude she thought was Rymir's father, was NOT the father! Apparently Jay Z is the only other likely suspect (but we all know how those Maury episodes go...). Rymir filed a civil suit in December accusing Jay Z of lying to the court in order to avoid taking a paternity test. Jay Z also allegedly fathered a lovechild in 2011; he allegedly paid the baby mama $1 million to keep quiet.
Rick Salomon Seeks Annulment From Pamela Anderson
Days after Pamela Anderson filed for divorce for the second time from two-time Rick Salomon, Salomon has filed to have their marriage annulled, reports E! Their first marriage in 2007 ended up being annulled, but Anderson was the one to file for annulment that time. If this annulment is granted, this would be the third for Salomon; in addition to having his first marriage with Anderson annulled, he also annulled his marriage to Shannen Doherty. Of course, along with the annulment, he is asking the judge to rule that there is no community property from the marriage and no spousal support owed.

You would think with so many Divas taking up residency in Las Vegas, there would be more hissing and scratching about things like money, wardrobe and backup dancers, but this A-list diva is worrying about other things. Like who's going to sing her songs behind the curtain.
It's no secret her voice has been...um...helped over the years. She desperately tried to get her voice repaired in Europe a while back that helped another A-list diva get the voice she lost back, but the treatment didn't work, so now she's desperate. People aren't going to pay top dollar to see her of all people lip sync. Especially since another diva in residence had embarrassing isolated tracks of her performances leaked, and the other diva in residence is going to deliberately leak tracks when she begins her stint just to show people she is the real deal and what you want to spend your money on.
So there's going to be someone singing behind the curtain. This C-list great singer who couldn't get traction in the music industry, sometimes dabbling in TV and Movies, is the front runner for the job. The diva once threw her a ton of shade, but the C-lister is enough of a superfan to keep her mouth shut for the big paycheck and guaranteed record deal.

Taking Back Sunday Singer Arrested For DUI
TMZ reports that Taking Back Sunday's lead singer Adam Lazzara was arrested for drinking and driving in his hometown of Charlotte, NC. Lazzara was pulled over after blowing through a red light. The band is set to kick off a tour on Wednesday in New Orleans.
Michelle Branch Files For Divorce
People reports that singer Michelle Branch, 31, has filed for divorce from husband of more than a decade Teddy Landau, 50. The couple have one child together, daughter Owen Isabelle, 9. Branch cited irreconcilable differences in the filing. No word yet as to whether or not the split is being called amicable.
George Clooney Installs Panic Room
As George Clooney renovates his new mansion with wife Amal Alamuddin in Berkshire, England, the couple have decided to add one very modern invention: a panic room. Us Weekly reports that the addition to their 17th-century British manor house will be resistant to fires, bombs, and attacks. Surprisingly, the room is more for Amal's protection than George's. Due to her high profile cases, the couple aren't taking any chances with security.
David Geffen Has A Stalker-ish
Most people would call it a bad breakup, but when you're billionaire David Geffen, 65, you call it a stalker. Page Six reports that Jamie Ralph Kuntz, 21, has been given probation for charges of stalking Geffen. He was convicted of trespassing on Geffen's property after being given a restraining order to stay away from Geffen's homes both in Beverly Hills and in Malibu. Why would Kuntz be trying to show up at Geffen's home? Because the two hard a short-term relationship. Kuntz was even kicked off his college football team for being seen kissing Geffen. Kuntz probably would have won had the case gone to trial, but he couldn't afford his bail and didn't want to wait in jail until a trial.

When Gordon-Levitt snapped up the home, it was the first time that it had been on the market since 1957. The house contains three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a woodsy kitchen, and a pool. Shayne Dahl Lamas Opens Up About Surrogacy
For those who don't know who Shayne Dahl Lamas is, she is the daughter of Lorenzo Lamas, 57, and is married to Nik Richie, 36, of the website The Dirty. The couple share a daughter, Press, 3. When the couple attempted to expand their family last year, Shayne, 29, suffered complications during the pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage and the inability to carry future children. The couple are now expecting a new child via a surrogate, and they happened to find that surrogate close to home. Closer Weekly reports that Lorenzo Lamas's wife, Shawna Craig, 26, is acting as the couple's surrogate. The couple is expecting a baby boy. The magazine quotes Shayne as follows:

What's Going On With Tom DeLonge?
Last month, Tom DeLonge quit Blink-182, then denied quitting. Now he's sitting down with Paper Magazine to talk about his passionate belief in aliens, and how the government is tapping his phones. DeLonge has read over 200 books about aliens, and talks about his own alien encounter. He also talks about what the government did to his fellow alien researcher:
"(he) was being awoken in the middle of the night with clicking and buzzing noises and falling on the ground vomiting, every morning at 4 a.m. I know now that those are artifacts from mind-control experiments, where the same technology that we use to find oil underground, we can zap somebody at the same frequency that the brain operates on, and it can cause some really horrific things to happen."

Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and wife Catriona McGinn have welcomed daughter Lachlyn Hope, reports People. The couple also share a son, Dekker Edward, 16 months. Gosselaar has two children from his previous marriage to Ann Russell, son Michael Charles, 10, and daughter Ava Lorenn, 8.
Afroman Arrested For Punching Woman In The Face
Rapper Afroman was arrested during a concert in Biloxi, Mississippi for punching a female fan in the face, reports TMZ. The woman made her way on stage and began to dance next to Afroman. Showing that he was clearly displeased with her fly moves, Afroman spun around and punched her square in the face, and didn't miss a bit of his song. The woman was both bleeding a crying. Cops put a stop to the show and arrested the rapper, where he was booked for assault.
Vanilla Ice Arrested for Burglary
All right stop! Collaborate and listen! TMZ reports that rapper Vanilla Ice has been arrested for burglary and grand theft. Vanilla Ice allegedly stole furniture, a pool heater, bicycles, and more from a vacant home in where else? Florida! The police have already recovered some of the stolen items after (soft) serving Vanilla with a search warrant.

Wine and Sass Blind Item - SNL 40 Blind #2
One SNL Alum showed up and everyone was honestly shocked. He didn't stay long and didn't interact with many people there. Everyone knows this person has had nothing to do with Saturday Night Live since they left but no one, except SNL insiders, know the real reasons why. Two things happened to make pretty much the entire cast and crew hate him when he was a cast member.
First thing was he hooked up with the wife of one of the crew members....and he was not at all shy about talking about it so the word traveled quickly and things came to a head. The crew member quit and he had no cares to give. Lorne had a talk with him and explained that he didn't want that kind of behavior happening on his show. He then retorted that he does what he pleases. This did not go over well with Lorne or the rest of the cast.
About two years later after rehearsal one night he pulled out some photos of himself engaging in some seriously messed up sexual "situations." We are talking things that on a scale of 1 to 10 on the freak-o-meter would register at 20. All the crew have always been relaxed and can talk about pretty much anything, but this was something not even they would talk about and seeing it wasn't kosher. Everyone also found the insanity and overboard nasty content of the photos hilarious and had pretty good laughs at our alum's expense. This enraged our alum since in his mind, he was the sole reason SNL was still on the air. His ego was so overblown that he couldn't understand why any of them wouldn't want to see what he has going on. SNL and him "parted ways" quickly after this and most of the cast and the whole company never missed opportunities to take digs at him. You see it for years after he left the show.
Small hints of shade that never go by name or appearance but skits, comics and just random interview comments in general all point to him and his off the chart fetishes. The material they got from him lasted years and he knows what's in reference to him every time. The fact that Lorne allowed it still enrages him today. The cast always has a closed mouth policy to anyone who is on SNL and has from the very beginning...but that doesn't exclude you from private hits in their sketches. This alum went down in history as being one of the most epic members of material on SNL. Ten years after his exit, skits were still being written about his boastings. Sometime's you really can't make this stuff up!

One A List celeb in particular RSVP'd at the very last minute with a huge list of demands. One thing known about Saturday Night Live is they don't bend over backwards to cater to anyone. The celeb's demands were denied and the celeb had their people tell SNL that they wouldn't show. This was fine with them, as you can tell from the show...they had more than enough star power. This person showed up anyway and was placed next to someone they can't stand. The photos captured their displeasure, but even more hilarity is that they put them together on purpose since #1 on the list of demands was a list of people they didn't want to be near. This person was #2 on the list...the first one wasn't there. They actually relocated a person who was sitting there just to place the high-maintenance celeb there.
The event managers had some great laughs when the person the celeb didn't want to sit next to then tried to hang around them the entire after-party. The celeb couldn't say anything, if they did, their image would take a hit.

Patty Hearst Wins at Westminster
Patty Hearst's Shih Tzu won the Toy Category at the annual Westminster Dog Show in New York. Patricia Hearst-Shaw, 61, co-owns the shih tzu name Rocket.
Pharrell To Pen Children's Book
Happy was such a huge hit for Pharrell Williams, that he is turning it into a children's book. People reports that the singer has singed a deal with Putnam Books; he will be writing a series of picture books, the first one of which will be based on his song Happy. The first printing of 250,000 copies will hit bookshelves on September 22.

Selena Gomez was recently interviewed by James Franco for V Magazine. Some highlights from the interview are below, as excerpted by Us Weekly.
On Bieber:
"I was 18 years old, and it was my first love. The older I get, I'm guarding certain things more. After being put through the scrutiny, I understand what it is. When you're young and you're being told so many different things…it almost felt like all we had was each other, like the world was against us, in a way. It was really weird but it was incredible. I would never take it back in a million years. You live and you learn, you know?"
On the "dark period" in her life:
"It was great to experience really beautiful things, and then [to] have the growing pains, in every possible manner, in every relationship. It was family, it was business, it was buying my first home, moving out of my parents' house. There was so much going on. You can't help but have some troubles here and there. I don't think it's a smooth process for anyone, and it definitely wasn't for me.
On dealing with fame:
"It just causes a lot of anxiety. There were a few months where I was a little depressed, where I wouldn't leave as much. I think I drove myself crazy for a little bit. My response was to stay in, which sucked. That's what I was trying to fix this past year, I'm finally getting a little bit more comfortable. Glee's Darren Criss Heads to Broadway
Darren Criss, who plays the role of Blaine Anderson on Glee, is headed to Broadway. Playbill reports that Darren Criss will be starring in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He will begin a 12-week run on April 29th. Currently in the role is the creator of Hedwig, John Cameron Mitchell. His last performance will be April 26th. Prior to Mitchell, Neil Patrick Harris, Andrew Rannells, then Michael C Hall played the title role.

Patrick Schwarzenegger Car Rammed In The Valley
Last week, Patrick Schwarzenegger was driving around the Valley on his way to meet up with Miley Cyrus for lunch. LAist reports that a car drove up next to his, dumped a water bottle on it, then sped off. Schwarzenegger gave chase, but the other car flipped a bitch and rammed his car into Schwarzenegger's, and drove off. Schwarzenegger called the police when he arrived at lunch; Police are now looking for the other driver and investigating them for felony assault with a deadly weapon.
Nicholas Brendon Arrested Again
Maybe he should stop attending conventions. Just days after announcing his split from his wife of five months, Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Nicholas Brendon was arrested after a comic book convention for felony grand theft, reports TMZ. The actor was at a Hilton Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, got drunk off his ass, and trashed his hotel room. The damage totaled $450, and he ordered $380 worth of food and booze. When the actor refused to pay the tab, the cops were called. Brendon was last arrested at a comic book convention in October in Idaho for causing a disturbance. Brendon announced that he would be going to rehab at that time.

Had breakfast on Tuesday in Los Angeles with my wife and daughter. In the midst of marveling at how she’s able to eat pancakes intended for fully grown humans while weighing less than 25 pounds… An incredibly famous young woman came in with her sort of (not really) famous boyfriend. I immediately tensed because I consider this person – as the father of a young girl – to be nothing short of an emotional terrorist. My wife senses this and asks me what’s wrong. I respond that we need to leave immediately for fear my kid and this overly sexualized velociraptor make eye contact even for the briefest of instances. I was dead serious. This is what it’s like to have a daughter.

SCA Promotions recently won a fraud dispute against Lance Armstrong and Tailwind Sports Company. The New York Times reports that the suit was over "unparalleled pageant of international perjury, fraud and conspiracy" used to cover up Armstrong's use of performance-enhancing drugs. Lance Armstrong lying? Could you imagine? A Texas court ruled in favor of SCA Promotions, and now Armstrong has to pay the company $10 million. Armstrong's lawyers are appealing the ruling. The male part of this A List couple pretty much kept the family together for his entire marriage. His significant other was an absolute nightmare to be married to. He patiently waited until a certain milestone in his family came to pass and then made his exit.
He was surprised at how amicable the split was and took it as her agreement that the marriage was over. Oh no. She thought once she got out and began publicly being seen with much younger men and appearing to move on, he'd come running back. He didn't and is now privately seeing someone else.
When she found out about it, she hit the roof. She isn't the most healthy person mentally and has major visions of grandeur about herself. For the sake of his family he tried his best to take care of her and make sure things appeared healthy. In reality, he couldn't wait to get out. He has no interest in going back into that mess.
Everything his attorneys send her goes unanswered and she refuses to even discuss any settlements in separation or the divorce. If he tries to bring up the subject, she puts a stop to it by telling him these kinds of conversations will trigger her "relapse" and he knows there is no relapse because she never stopped to begin with. He stuck between a rock and a hard place.
When his attorneys contacted her asking why she didn't show up to the scheduled meeting they had with her and her attorneys she replied, "There's no meeting to hold because this marriage isn't over." and hung up. She called him and told him once he's finished getting his "jollies" off with this new piece they can talk about their reconciliation.
He's beginning to see that maybe this isn't so amicable after all.

Boy Band Reunions At the SNL Special Tonight
In case you weren't already planning on watching tonight's Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special, here's another reason to tune in: Both the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync will reunite for the special, reports Us Weekly. It is unknown in what capacity the boy bands will participate, but it has been confirmed that at least Justin Timberlake will be there live.
