Kate Beckinsale And Len Wiseman Have Split
In a shock to no one, Us Weekly has announced that Kate Beckinsale, 42, and husband Len Wiseman, 42, have pulled the plug on their marriage after 11 years together. They have already been separated for months. Wiseman has been spotted around Los Angeles with model CJ Franco, 24, for the past month and a half. Sources state, "They tried to make it work, but they end up falling back into old habits and fighting...It is very hurtful to her that he is not being discreet. They haven’t even been able to sit down and discuss divorcing yet and she asked him to wait until then. There is still a chance they won’t, she was holding out to discuss their future with him in person.”

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Half Her Age
If you’ve seen the photos of her husband out with a very young model, it should come as no surprise that this angelic film actress has separated from her showbiz husband.
This is NOT a recent occurrence. They actually separated earlier this year! We also learned that the model is not the first woman the husband has seen outside of his marriage.
While it must hurt to see her husband fooling around with a woman half her age, it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise to our actress that he is moving on while still married. We recall that when our actress first met him many years ago… he left his wife for her.
The actress and her husband do not have any kids together, so the divorce shouldn’t be too complicated. If they do make a public announcement, it will likely be done quietly and over the holidays to minimize the amount of attention.

Chloe Grace Moretz Talks Sexuality and Squads
Chloe Grace Moretz recently sat down for an interview with Nylon Magazine, where she touched on a variety of topics. The magazine quotes her as follows:
“Back when my mom was in college, when things were more taboo, she had lots of gay and trans friends, people of all shapes, sizes, and colors. So we were a very open household...My mom tells us people asked her, ‘Why are you letting your son run around in a pink Power Ranger costume?’ Her answer was: ‘Because he wants to wear it, and it makes him smile. Why would I take that away from him?’”
On her two brothers Trevor and Colin coming out when Chloe was in middle school:
“At 11, you’re incredibly observant and realizing what society is, and who you are, and people are kissing boys or girls for the first time, and you’re really starting to understand what sexuality is. And to see my brothers struggle with the anxiety of having to come out was awful. The problem is we live in a society where we have to say the words, ‘I’m coming out.’ No one should care what your sexual orientation is, what color your skin is, or if you’re a man or a woman. People would call them the F-word, and I would get so angry. It was really hard to see my brothers be hated on or bullied, so I stood up for them. We shouldn’t be using these terms to create more labels and segregate us further apart than we already are. At a young age, I was motivated to fight for gay rights, women’s rights, minority rights—all human rights.”
On Squads:
“I agree with having a good core group of friends, but the issue I have with squads is it creates exclusivity. I was never included in those things when I was a kid. I was the weird one that chose to do movies, so now I go out of my way to be nice to people and make them feel included.”

What Joshua Jackson Loves About Diane Kruger
The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with Joshua Jackson at InStyle's Golden Globes celebration, where he had this to say of longtime live Diane Kruger:
"One of the most attractive things to me about Diane is how confident she is in herself as a woman and in her beauty, and how much self respect she has and the way that manifests itself in the way she dresses. There’s a ton of pressure on women — particularly young women — to conform to a certain sense of what is beautiful or what is fashionable. For Diane, having gone through the modeling side of the business in her youth, her fashion sense is a true expression of her own desire and her own style. I find that tremendously sexy. She knows that she’s well-dressed, but she doesn't have to obsess about it because it comes out of her organically...I certainly pay more attention to how I dress now than I did a decade ago before we started dating so I would be lying if I said I wasn’t conscious of it."
The Gossip Life Blind Item - The Network
This network is considered a haven for creative types and the dream for writers, but things may be changing in the future. There are many at the network that are unhappy with the current slate, feeling only one or two shows is a commercial and critical success, worthy of the network, and that too much power / money has been given to famous actors, writers and producers simply because they’re famous. They fear that another medium is moving in on their domain and they’ll be left behind.

Missy Elliott Talks Music Return
Missy Elliott recently sat down for an interview with Billboard Magazine, where she talked about returning to the music business. The magazine quotes her as follows:
“I have to be very careful. It’s different now. People are quick to be like, ‘You’re irrelevant, you’re a flop, you’re washed up.’ ...[The long break] was much needed. People hadn’t realized that I haven’t just been an artist, I’ve been a writer and a producer for other artists. When you’re writing that much, your brain is like a computer. You have refresh it.”
On having a panic attack the night before the Super Bowl performance:
“Like, IVs in my arm, everything. Nobody knew...I said, ‘If I can get over this step, then I know all my dance steps will be on point.’ I know it was nothing but the grace of God that lifted me up and took me through that performance.”

TV Show Roundup 11/20/15
Casting News:
E! reports that Supergirl Melissa Benoist's real life husband Blake Jenner, who also co-starred with her on Glee, is headed to the CBS show to play Benoist's love interest.
Okay, not a TV show, but still worth reporting. The Hollywood Reporter announces that Kathy Bates has joined the cast of Bad Santa 2 as Billy Bob Thornton's mother.
Ray Donovan's Omar J Dorsey is headed to NBC's Aquarius for a recurring role in the show's second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Shawn Johnson Opens Up About Eating Disorder
Former Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson recently sat down for an interview with Yahoo Health, where she opened up about her past eating disorder. The site quotes her as follows:
“I’ve kind of gone through the gamut when it comes to health. I’ve hit lows with — I don’t want to say diagnosed eating disorders — but eating disorders. And then I’ve gone the other way, where I’ve rejected fitness. [I’ve] kind of gone through the whole education system, all the nutritionists, and now I’m finally healthy.”
On doing Dancing With the Stars:
“When I first went on [DWTS], I was 16, and I turned 17 on the show,. Going from this strict, regimented schedule to going through puberty on national TV and gaining weight, and just being kind of a huge target for criticism, was just really difficult for me.”
On what she's learned:
“The most important thing that I would have wished had been ingrained in me when I was little is: Everything in moderation. It’s OK to have cookies. It’s OK to have ice cream. It’s OK to indulge — or not. Everything in moderation.”
Chris Martin Talks Collaborating With Ex Wife and Current Girlfriend For New Album
Coldplay's upcoming album, A Head Full of Dreams, features both Gwyneth Paltrow and Martin's current girlfriend, Anabelle Wallis. Chris Martin recently spoke to The Wall Street Journal; they quote him as follows:
"Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives. This is The Wall Street Journal, so I don’t want to get too hippie, but what I’m trying to learn in my life is the value of every human. Inclusiveness is the key thing, and it all comes from that “Guest House” poem. The “choir” started with my two kids coming in after school and recording. We recorded Blue Ivy Carter in New York when her mom Beyoncé was in the studio. It comes from learning about Greek tragedy, where the chorus chimes in at times. To me, when we use that sound, it’s to affirm what I’m saying. 'We agree with you, Chris. Keep singing.'"
Don't Talk Smack About Aaron Rogers In Front Of Olivia Munn
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have had a less than stellar run as of late, and some blame Olivia Munn, which has been picked up by the press. When Munn got wind of this, she went off on her Twitter account. E! News consolidates her remarks as follows:
"Dear WashingtonPost, FoxSports and the other news outlets that followed suit. The internet, and especially comment sections, allows people the freedom of anonymity. And there's that small group of people who use it as an opportunity to spew whatever hatred they want without fearing accountability or repercussions. But, that doesn't mean news organizations - the ones that were built by the trust of the public - should give these people's vitriol validity and deem them "fans".
The "fan you based entire articles around is a bigot and a racist. (Check my next Tweet for a link to his hate-filled comments. Also known as the least amount of journalistic research anyone could have done.)"

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Announce The Divorce Already
She is a famous television actress who stars on a popular show. Her husband is a retired athlete who is now doing… nothing. So, when she recently received a pair of honors, he was right there by her side, beaming with pride, right?
No. He didn’t show. Why not? Because they aren’t together any more!
We don’t know why she continues to pretend that they are a couple who just likes to keep their relationship private. As of a few months ago, she wasn’t planning on having another baby with him. Would it really be that scandalous for her to announce the divorce already?

The Hollywood Reporter's Actress Round Table
The Hollywood Reporter recently gathered Kate Winslet, Jane Fonda, Carey Mulligan, Brie Larson, Helen Mirren, Charlotte Rampling, Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett for an actress round table. Here are some of the highlights:
Is it hard to find good roles?
MIRREN: Yes, of course.
FONDA: If you're older.
RAMPLING: Ah, the eternal question.
FONDA: A woman who's older? It's very difficult.
Older means over what age?
LAWRENCE: In Hollywood or in real life? (Laughter.)
FONDA: I'm told over 40, although what I did when I was in my 40s was I simply produced my own movies because no one offered me anything. But certainly after 50 it's hard for a woman, which is why television is such a welcoming thing.
MIRREN: It's hard for young women, too. It's very interesting, Brie saying, "I wasn't pretty enough to be the pretty girl and I wasn't unattractive enough to be the dorky girl."
LARSON: That's what we're all doing: paving the way, finding the roles that have the complication instead of the one that's always got it together or the dedicated housewife or the wild one who smokes cigarettes and sleeps with anybody.
WINSLET: So much is made of good, strong roles for women. Actually, it's really interesting playing vulnerable people as well.
MULLIGAN: People always say, "You played such a strong character." I remember someone said that to me when I played a role in Shame, and she was a suicidal mess. I said, "She's not strong at all; she's incredibly weak." But "strong" to people means "real." It means you believe that's a person who exists, as opposed to some two-dimensional depiction of women.
Jennifer, you've written about the pay gap between men and women, and you're taking a stance on issues. Has there been a backlash?
LAWRENCE: There's always a backlash in everything that you do, but it's not going to stop or change anything. And it's not only an issue in Hollywood. When you're asking about roles for men and women, men certainly have a longer shelf life. Men can play the sexy lead for 20 years longer than we can —
LARSON: But that's just because it's mostly dudes in charge.
BLANCHETT: It's lazy thinking across all industries. We're at the pointy and probably the most public end, but in what industry do women receive equal pay for equal work? I can't think of any.
LAWRENCE: Across all fields, women are generally paid 21 percent less than men.
MIRREN: I love the way you wrote about it because you wrote about it very simply and personally. I so recognized that thing you said about, "I didn't want to be an asshole," you know? I want to be polite. We've got to stop being polite. If I ever had children, which I don't, the first thing I'd teach a girl of mine is the words "fuck off."
FONDA: Have you [all] gotten braver? When Kate was in [Holy Smoke], it's nighttime, and she walks out of this building stark naked and urinates on herself, you know?
WINSLET: One of my finer moments. (Laughter.)
LAWRENCE: Was it real pee?
WINSLET: No, it wasn't real. 'Cause you can't piss on cue. We did actually do a pee test because I did want to do the pissing part if I could. But when you stand up and pee, it doesn't go in a nice stream right down the center, which is what they wanted. It just races for sanctuary down one side of your leg. That didn't work when we did the pee test, and I really did pee down my leg. So what we did is, we hung a bag of saline-drip fluid and dyed it slightly yellow. It was tied to the back of my hair on a small thread, and it just sat happily in the base of my back. And someone activated it.
LARSON: Did you wedge it or did someone else wedge it?
WINSLET: I wedged it.
BLANCHETT: Who did that? Was that credited? (Laughter.)
Is there anything you wouldn't do as an actress?
WINSLET: I wouldn't be a part of anything that had acts of violence toward children. I don't think I would do a horror film, either. That just doesn't sit well on my soul.
BLANCHETT: Oh, I love horror films.
WINSLET: Do you find them funny?
BLANCHETT: No, I find them scary.
LAWRENCE: I get nervous.
BLANCHETT: There's [also] plenty of girlfriend roles out there. They've come my way, and many people have turned them down, and I think, "Oh maybe I could do something with this." It's interesting when you get those roles, which seem like nothing on the page, and you kind of subvert them. It's hard to say no.

Tracy Pollan Talks Secret To Marriage
Actress Tracy Pollan has been married to Michael J Fox for 27 years. People recently asked her about the secret to their long reunion, here's what she had to say:
"Giving each other the benefit of the doubt. There are so many times when you have arguments, when you have things come up, and it really doesn't have anything to do with what he did, or said – it's how I am projecting that onto myself. A lot of times he'll just say to me, 'You know who I am, would I ever say anything to try to hurt your feelings? Just give me the benefit of the doubt.' You just have [to have] the perspective that you're behind each other's back – and it helps if you can make each other laugh...He's an amazing father ... he's one of the smartest people I know ... and he's pretty cute still!"
Seventeen Magazine Blind Item - The Mean Girl
Mean girls don't just exist in the movies — they're real. In the December/January issue of Seventeen, on stands November 24, cover star Bella Thorne opens up about one such Hollywood mean girl, one she tries hard to avoid.
"I have a mean girl," she told us . "She's in the business, and she's very, very mean. I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her. Her siblings are not mean like she is. It's just her. One of the reasons I don't like her is because she's been a billionaire since she was very little, and she's never had to work for anything in her life."
Bella knows the value of hard work firsthand. When she was little, she was on food stamps; now, she's one of young Hollywood's busiest stars.

Carly Simon Reveals "You're So Vain" Identity
After 44 years of speculation, Carly Simon has revealed who You're So Vain is written about, and it's actually about three different men! People reveals that Simon stated, "I have confirmed that the second verse is Warren [Beatty]. Warren thinks the whole thing is about him!" On whether or not she will reveal the identities of the other men, Simon stated, "I don't think so, at least until they know it's about them." Well played, Carly! I've often thought that she dated more than one narcissistic dude who thought the song would be about only them, so she intentionally made it about more than one, knowing that each would think it was about him and him alone!

Rachel Weisz On Keeping Her Private Life Private
Rachel Weisz recently sat down for an interview with More Magazine, where she opened up about why she keeps her relationship with husband Daniel Craig so private. The magazine quotes her as follows:
"He's just too famous... It would be a betrayal. You have to protect your marriage. When you're young, you tell your girlfriends everything. One of the great pleasures of not being an adolescent is that you don't have to share everything. When you're married, that door closes. The audience goes, and you're in your own life."
On parts available to women her age (45):
"Men get the more complex roles. Things have become too glossy for women. We have to be 'likable,' which is not very likable at all. It's hard to like someone who's just sweet. You want a real person, one who irritates you and mystifies you and frustrates you and makes you cry. You want everything from a character. Not to just stand there and look nice. Likability is code for 'Shut up and look good.' "

People caught up with Nick Carter after his Dancing With the Stars performance on Monday, and he talked to them about addiction. The magazine quotes him as follows:
"I have been comfortable and happy to tell my story because I hope it can make a difference in somebody else's life and inspire them to realize that they are not alone. They can overcome any trouble in their life. It's been cathartic for me."
On the taped package before his dance:
"I feel like watching it it affected me a little bit. Sometimes it is a reality check to realize, 'Oh my God. All these things did happen to me. I did go through these things.' But things are going to happen in everybody's life. I'm not special. I'm human and mistakes are going to happen. It's how you react to those mistakes and how you overcome them that is important."
On what he has taken away from Dancing With the Stars:
"I started from a very closed place in my heart. I was not as open as I have been in the past. But I opened up and allowed everyone to see who I am, which is a loving person. I've started to become okay with who I am. I've started to realize that my past is my past and I'm okay with the person that I've become on the other side of all that."
Drew Barrymore Still Follows Steven Spielberg's Advice
Drew Barrymore recently appeared at Self Magazine's event, Empowering Conversations, where she had this to say, as quoted by Page Six:
“When Steven Spielberg gives you advice, you listen. I remember him saying to me [about commercials and endorsements], ‘Please don’t do that.’ My mom and I were from a [single-parent] home. We weren’t doing very well economically. It was extremely tantalizing to take these opportunities. He said, ‘in the broad vision of life, it will water you down. And if you choose your battles carefully, it will be a lot more meaningful.' At seven with a single-mother home, that was really hard to stay in that type of strict mandate."
On working with CoverGirl almost 30 years later.
“They came along and they said we’d love to work with you as a spokesmodel. And I said I am not a spokesmodel. I am Josie Grossie. So that’s not gonna work but I really appreciate the idea. However, I love producing and I love being behind things and I love photographers and I love graphics. I studied all of that stuff forever so, maybe one day. And they were like okay. Then they came back and they said would you ever consider being co-creative director? And I said yes. That I would love to do."

While all reality stars create drama to get attention, this Mom is one of the worst. She is part of an ensemble reality show, but she says or does whatever it takes to bring attention to herself, whether it’s to solicit admiration or envy or pity.
Guess that’s not enough. She wants more. She wants her OWN reality show featuring her family!
She says that it will be like the Kardashians but with more money and more class. She sees a big cast, with all of her kids dating a rotating cast of famous people and having fabulous lives. She isn’t doing this for the money or the fame, though. She is doing it for her children.
Right.
All members of the family have to sign off to get this to work, and, as of right now, one of them is holding back. We’ll know in a few months if they acquiesce and if her plan succeeds.

Rita Ora Talks Health Regime
Rita Ora recently sat down for a interview with Self Magazine, where she talked about her health regimen. The magazine quotes her as follows:
“I feel my strongest onstage. I still, to this day, do not know anything better. When I’ve been really good with my body – no alcohol, no late nights, watching my diet, drinking water … I start feeling like a superhero! ...I’ve never been more grateful for sleep than I am at this point. I used to hate it. It took a lot to mentally calm me down. But now I travel with a candle and a little lavender pillow.”
Obviously, I’m like any other 20-something – I like to have a drink after my show and things like that, but it’s in moderation. It’s one of those things where the band goes out later and gets hammered, and you’ve got to be the one who just goes to bed....It’s like you’re an athlete. I’m not running a marathon, but I’m doing it in my own way. You really have to take care of your body so you can survive.”

Natasha Gregson Wagner Releasing a Natalie Wood Perfume
The Hollywood Reporter announces that Natasha Gregson Wagner has created a perfume in her late mother's honor. Natalie is launching online now, and will be in major stores in time for Mother's Day 2016. Wagner says of the fragrance, "Barbara Stanwyck gave my mother the original Jungle Gardenia (1932) while they were shooting The Bride Wore Boots in 1946. My mother was a child actress then — and she loved Barbara’s scent. After Barbara gave her a bottle as a gift, she wore it the rest of her life. But I have not re-created Jungle Gardenia. This is more modern; we introduced freesia, bigarade zest, orange flower, narcissus, jasmine and rose oil — background notes include French vanilla and skin musk. It was an eight-month process. And the packaging has her signature in gold, because, after all, she was a star. I will never forget that we always knew when our mom was home — because we could smell her!"
Shia LaBeouf Gives Debrief On Watching Shia LaBeouf Movies
Shia LaBeouf recently watched all of his movies in reverse chronological order, which he also livestreamed for our enjoyment. He talked about that experience, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter:
"I always go into these things every time — and this is my self-hate at work — what if they light my hair on fire? … This is a genuine fear of mine. I think people hate me. That’s just what goes on in my head. And all I want to do is be liked. I walked out loving myself. Not in some grandiose, you’re fucking awesome way, but in like, you’re a part of a community. You’re a part of this human thing."
After it was over:
"I’m walking through the streets and I’m smiling, like a cartoon character...I felt extraordinary support.... Once you press play on your life and you open up and there’s that vulnerability, and not only are people getting the artistic side of you but they’re getting the human side of you, watching that, you’ve shared everything. And the fact that you can walk out of there and people are still nodding at you and giving you a thumbs-up…it’s something else. I really don’t even know what it is yet, because I haven’t sat on it or done any writing or thought about it at all. I just know if I can explain a feeling, I feel lighter today. I feel love today. It’s as simple as this: I used to order my coffee and when they’d say, 'Hey what’s your name?' I’d say James, because I didn’t want them to say my name."
On how the experience unfolded:
"Everyone who came into the theater sat down and stared at me. And I felt it. And then they left within ten minutes, because they expected me to do some high-wire act. That’s not what we were there to do...Not just in art but in songs, in movies, in theater, what makes it great is when there’s a shared secret in the room. And what happened in that room for those couple of days was we all shared something; we knew it to be true, we didn’t need to explain it to one another, and that made it awesome."
On why he took nap breaks:
"[I thought] I hate myself...I'm dying right now. When I woke up an hour later and watched Transformers 2, they could feel when I sunk in my seat. That’s me going through some kind of crisis. And I’m not the only one. I remember right before I fell asleep, I looked next to me and the guy next to me was falling asleep. You can see it on the screenshot; we’re both asleep. And the guy behind us is asleep."
On the Even Stevens movie:
"It’s all of our childhood. It’s mine and it’s yours. It wasn’t just me smiling like that. If you look at the freeze frames, everyone is smiling like, 'Wow, I remember Beans. I remember that stupid-ass song.' We were all looking at our yearbook together, and we’re all in the yearbook."

Clare Danes recently sat down for an interview with Allure, where she talked about beauty and Hollywood. The magazine quotes her as follows:
On body shaming:
"It's just so ingrained in us, the idea that we should take up the right amount of space, literally and figuratively. I've wrestled with this my whole life, as just a person in the world and as somebody who makes images. It's OK to want to look and feel your best. It's OK to work at being attractive, whatever that means to you. And it's also OK to not expect to be defined by that. It's OK to be powerful in every way: to be big, to take up space. To breathe and thrive."
On not looking flawless in her roles:
"I'm very vain about my performance. I want to give as honest a performance as I can. But I'm not so worried about being regarded as beautiful when I'm playing a character. I have plenty of vanity in my life. I want to look pretty in the world. But it can be this bottomless pit. I know some of the most beautiful women on the planet—unequivocally, objectively friggin' gorgeous—and they are rife with insecurity and self-doubt, and you just think, 'Well, how can that be?' I'm attractive enough. I can do the work I want to do. I've found this wonderful man who wants to make out with me. I'm good."

Ewan McGregor Talks Trainspotting Sequel
The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up wit Ewan McGregor at the Los Cabos Film Festival, where they talked to him about the potential Trainspotting sequel. The publication quotes him as follows:
"It's almost 100 percent sure, it depends mostly on scheduling. I think we all want to do it. I'd like more than anything to be working with Danny again and to be making a sequel to such an important film."
On the potential of being the next James Bond (he has turned it down in the past):
"I think it would be quite cool to play James Bond. At this stage in my career (being typecast) is not really an issue anymore. Early on, when you start off you don't want your horizons to be narrow, but I think people know I have some kind of width in my work, so I'm really not worried about that anymore."
Step By Step's Christine Lakin is Pregnant
Christine Lakin, who played Al Lambert on the sitcom Step By Step, is expecting her first child with husband Brandon Breault. The couple tied the knot in October 2014. Lakin released the following statement to People: "We feel so lucky to bring a child into the world and look forward to raising her with love, laughter and compassion, in a time when these things seem challenged."
Ginnifer Goodwin Is Pregnant Again
Once Upon a Time actress Ginnifer Goodwin, 37, is expecting her second child with husband Josh Dallas, 33, reports People. The couple have been married since April 2014, and are already parents to son Oliver Finlay, 17 months.
People's Sexiest Man Alive Is...
David Beckham? Huh. Not that he's not, but the timing for it seems a bit weird. Why not name him Sexiest Man Alive when he was actively playing soccer? Who do you think should have been named Sexiest Man Alive? Are you happy with Beckham, or do you think they should have gone with someone more current like Theo James?

Happy Anarchversary!
Happy Anarchversary, everyone!
No, this is not a goodbye post. When CDaN Companion launched, it was a temporary solution to what turned out to be a permanent problem. When that become apparent, Anarchy Gossip was born. And as promised a year ago in the initial announcement, Anarchy is still ad-free and mobile-friendly!
Thank you for reading and commenting, for snarking and supporting your fellow Anarchists. You are all the reason that this site exists. You are one badass community. Let's make it another great year!
XOXO,
Outtie
