Outtie Announcement - Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes
Dear Anarchists,
I have recently experienced some (mostly positive) life changes that have left me too busy to maintain this site on a day-to-day basis. All good things must come to an end, and unfortunately that time is now.
Today will be the final day of topical news posts. However, I will maintain the "weekend schedule" (the three open posts going up from 9am to 10am PST) for 7 days a week, permanently. The site won't disappear, I'm still keeping the lights on, I just sadly no longer have the time to schedule new daily content. But the pre-programmed posts will still be alive and well.
It has been an honor and a privilege to maintain this site for the past three years. Thank you for reading and commenting every day! You are an amazing community.
This site started after that other site went to an unreadable format - they're back to Blogger now, so it's safe to visit there again; just make sure you have your ad-blocker on!
I debated whether or not to reveal my identity. I mean, I have a feeling that some of you have already guessed who Outtie really is. Let me put it this way - if Himmmm is really Robert Downey Jr, then I'm AnnaLynne McCord. And no, I really haven't been back there since I started Anarchy, mostly because I have been too busy maintaining this site, but also, after all of those DMCA Takedown Notices, why would I? No shade if you all go back though - we all have our vices :)
The new posts will be loading underneath this one all day in their regularly scheduled times. I wish all of you the best, and again, the open posts will still go up seven days a week, but this will be the final message from me.
So for the last time,
XOXO,
Outtie

Oprah Talks Presidential Ambitions (Or Lack Thereof)
Oprah is on the cover of InStyle Magazine. Here's what she had to say in her accompanying interview:
LB: Throughout your career, you have experienced and empathized with moments when women feel powerless.
OW: "You know what has fascinated me the most about all of this? I was on set with some actresses the day after the Harvey Weinstein story broke, and I realized they all had a form of PTSD. They were saying, “Oh, since this thing broke I can’t sleep” or “I’ve been anxious. I just tear up every time I hear another story.” Having done hundreds of stories about child sexual molestation over the years, I recognized it as the same. The women were having the same reaction that children have when they’ve repressed an experience and they didn’t know whom to tell, felt shame, and thought, “I am the only one.”"
LB: How do you see this manifesting into a movement? What comes next?
OW: "It has seared into the consciousness a level of awareness that was not there before. That’s the most important thing to me. When Reese Witherspoon can tell her story at the same time as a farm worker in Iowa or a factory worker in Alabama, it says to a person, “Oh well, I’ve been putting up with that asshole supervisor for all these years. Maybe it’s time for me to do something too.” You can see you’re not alone. We don’t have to turn our heads to pretend something isn’t happening in order to keep going. And now we have amongst ourselves actresses, producers, directors, and people in business discussing how we can create a reporting system so that everybody feels supported. [Cue Time’s Up, a movement and legal fund announced in January, coming to the fore with black-clad actresses bringing female activists to the Golden Globes.]"
LB: And you speak for so many. How do you feel when people say, “Oprah 2020”?
OW: "[Laughs] I actually saw a mug the other day ... I thought it was a cute mug. All you need is a mug and some campaign literature and a T-shirt. I’ve always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not. And so it’s not something that interests me. I don’t have the DNA for it. Gayle—who knows me as well as I know myself practically—has been calling me regularly and texting me things, like a woman in the airport saying, “When’s Oprah going to run?” So Gayle sends me these things, and then she’ll go, “I know, I know, I know! It wouldn’t be good for you—it would be good for everyone else.” I met with someone the other day who said that they would help me with a campaign. That’s not for me."

Hasty Pudding Honors Mila Kunis, Starts Accepting Women
E! News reports that Mila Kunis was this year's recipient of Harvard's Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Award. At the same time, Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals Group announced that for the first time in the group's more than 200-year-old history, the previously male-only group will start accepting women.
Kunis had this to say about the decision:
"I'm here. I wouldn't be here otherwise. It wasn't a stipulation. It was just something that to me, was very important. And I think that, to clarify, this is something that this program has always wanted to do. It has nothing to do with me or today. It simply is something that was going to happen inevitably If you're going to ask somebody to not show up, it's a pretty weak stance to take. Most of Hasty Pudding is women. They are just simply not onstage."

People ask me who my favorite character is that i do. I really like all of them for different reasons. But there are two I do identify with more. I suppose because the core of me is inside them. Maybe this is REEEEAL egocentric of me and you may not care, but you want to guess?— Frank Oz (@TheFrankOzJam) January 16, 2018
There have really been wonderful guesses. Thanks! Okay. So. I most identify with Grover and Fozzie. Grover because he’s pure, Fozzie because as a kid I really wanted to be in show biz too. I shouldn’t have put Yoda in the mix. He is way deep inside me, but I’m not that wise.— Frank Oz (@TheFrankOzJam) January 17, 2018
Yes I identified most with Grover and Fozzie, but there are bits of me in all of my characters. Me being boring is Bert, me pure is Grover, me obsessed-Cookie, me neurotic-Piggy, me insecure-Fozzie, me uptight-Sam, me crazed-Animal. I'm a bit like each of them. And so are you.— Frank Oz (@TheFrankOzJam) January 18, 2018

The Gossip Life Blind Item - F'ed Up Kids
This Hollywood nanny has worked for some of the biggest celebrities in the world, but she describes the high-profile children of this A list couple as by far the worst she’s ever looked after.

She predicts these kids to grow into “just the worst” adults.

People reports that just one week after welcoming daughter Chicago West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are already thinking about asking their surrogate to carry another child for them. A source says of the couple, “Even before Chicago was born, Kim was talking about asking the surrogate to carry her next baby. She’s so happy with the whole process and thrilled with the surrogate. Kanye was even bonding with the surrogate’s husband in the delivery room.” Kim definitely wants more kids. She is so happy being a family of five. She wants the family to get even bigger!”
Blind Gossip Blind Item - How to Be a Serious Actress
You’re probably scratching your head over this new couple that includes an Oscar nominee/winner. It’s actually not that puzzling.
"She wants to be a really serious actress and she sees him as a way to get there. She not above faking it if it gets her what she wants. He’s already talking about giving her a part that starts out as a teenager and then ages. I don’t know what film it is."
Well, she did do a good job “dating” that actor a few years back, so maybe she does have the chops to be a “serious actress”!

Elsa Pataky Covers Elle Australia
Elsa Pataky is on the cover of Elle Australia. Here's what she had to say in her accompanying interview:
On motherhood:
"It's interesting how you can be a successful woman who has been working her whole life, and then you have kids and suddenly your career isn't as important and you don't appreciate it as much, and you just think, 'What am I doing? I have been fighting all my life for this and now I don't know if I really want it?' It's unfair in a way, because I don't think men go through that. But when you become a mum, everything that was important goes into second position. You change a lot, you mature, you see life differently and learn so many things."
On starting a family right when husband Chris Hemsworth's career was exploding:
"I think any time you start a family without knowing each other that much, it can be complicated... He was very young to be starting a family, and at the same time he was juggling that with his career and it was sometimes difficult, there was so much going on. But he was always trying to be the best dad and has never failed to make me feel like his family is the most important thing to him and [going through that] is how we've become so strong together."
On moving to Australia:
"I always tell people, don't be scared of moving out of your comfort zone because if you are, you'll miss out on so much life. Almost every person I've met who has had the courage to leave everything and have another experience, they have never regretted it. Just go, leave everything, who cares what is going to happen? You'll have to start again? Great!"

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Good Guy At Heart
This handsome, foreign-born actor was the lead in a big adventure film in the aughts. The film was helmed by an Oscar-winning mega director, had a $100+ million budget, and the other actors were marquee names, including an Oscar-winning actor and an Oscar-winning actress. The film should have been a huge hit.
The film flopped.
His career had been full of ups and downs, both professionally and personally, but the negative reaction to that film was so bad that our actor got quite depressed and almost quit the business. Almost. He wound up taking some time off to pull it together and is back to making movies again.
Someone who worked on that flop movie told us that while the film was bad, our leading actor was incredibly good to the local people who worked on the film.
"He knew that there were a lot of local actors who hadn’t worked in a while, and he pulled a lot of them into the film, giving them cameos and a line or two. It really boosted their spirits. Then he personally paid out of his own pocket to fly them all out to Los Angeles for the premiere so that they could have that once-in-a-lifetime experience of walking the red carpet and being treated like a star. The locals still talk about what a good guy he was for doing that."
He’s never won an Oscar, but our actor has won at least one other major award for his acting. He also won the hearts and appreciation of the people with whom he worked.

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Private Elevator
You will struggle to believe this one is true, but I’ve definitely seen the receipts.
This iconic A list personality, who could definitely be described as an enigma, has to enter an elevator to get to their regular place of work.
Nothing out of the ordinary about that, right?
“Nobody else is allowed in the elevator ever,” says the source. “No one. Ever. Not even [name omitted]’s security or team.”
“Maybe [name omitted]’s got a fetish,” jokes another.

Bella Thorne Booted From Hotel
Page Six reports that Bella Thorne attended the Sundance Film Festival, where she and her posse where removed from the Park City Marriott for copious pot smoking. A source says of the removal, “They were seen rushing out of the hotel hours before the premiere. There were so many bags, they needed a trail car to carry them...She called in sick for most of her press interviews on Monday. She canceled everything in the morning.”
Blind Gossip Blind Item - Nomination Retaliation
This actor isn’t talking about not receiving an Oscar nomination. However, the actor’s close friend is angry and speaking for them!
"She said that the ONLY reason that [Actor] is not getting a nomination is because most Academy members are male and they didn’t like [Actor] getting the feminists all riled up during awards season. As much as Hollywood pretends that nominations are for the best performances, it’s actually all political and if you piss off the wrong people, they will retaliate by ignoring you. In this case, the men already felt like they were under fire and they retaliated for making them look even worse."
Will our Actor ever vocalize this themselves? Doubtful. They are much too classy.

Jeff Zucker Splits From Wife
Page Six reports that CNN head Jeff Zucker and wife Caryn have split after 21 years of marriage. A source says of the split, “It can’t be easy being married to Jeff — he is a workaholic, and is obsessed with news, and obsessed with being the best. Caryn is much more laid back and social, spends a lot of time with their kids and enjoys being part of the Upper East Side social circuit. They’ve had their problems over the years. Things have been bad for 10 years, but they have now accepted their marriage is over, and he has moved out of their apartment.”
Neil Diamond is Retiring
Page Six reports that Neil Diamond is retiring from touring after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. He released the following statement:
“I have been so honored to bring my shows to the public for the past 50 years. My sincerest apologies to everyone who purchased tickets and were planning to come to the upcoming shows. My thanks goes out to my loyal and devoted audiences around the world. You will always have my appreciation for your support and encouragement.”
