Chris Zylka Breaks Up With Fiancée on Twitter
Actor Chris Zylka, who appeared in The Amazing Spider Man 2 recently ended his engagement to model Hanna Beth, and took to Twitter to announce it. According to Us Weekly, Zylka tweeted, "When someone's boyfriend shows up at they're [sic] house with flowers while you're in that someone's bed. Don't get involved with them." If that sentence doesn't make sense, he elaborates in a series of tweets that "the guy from boy london" showed up at Beth's home with flowers while he was in bed with her. I'm sure Zylka will land on his feet, as he ended his series of tweets with, "I will rise up."
View Producer Fired Over Fight With Rosie
Even though Rosie O'Donnell left The View last month, senior producer Jennifer Shepard-Brookman has been fired from the show as a result of a fight that she had with O'Donnell. Page Six reports that at a production meeting in early February, she laid into Rosie, and was extremely disrespectful. A few staff members, including O'Donnell, complained to HR about the incident. Shepard-Brookman was almost immediately suspended due to the incident, and the company eventually decided to let her go. Shepard-Brookman had been with The View for eight years.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Blockbuster Girl v Indy Girl
Blockbuster Girl has starred in some blockbuster movies and has won a major award. Indy Girl tends to do smaller films and has never won that same award.
Indy Girl recently took aim at Blockbuster Girl with a nasty, unprovoked verbal swipe.
Blockbuster Girl had an interesting reaction when she found out. She didn’t get angry or upset. She simply looked puzzled and said, “But Indy Girl doesn’t even know me. She’s never worked with me.” Then added, “…. aaaand, given her comment, it looks like she never will!” Everyone laughed. Blockbuster Girl tends to have a good sense of humor about haters.

Fifty Shades of Pay
After making only $250K each for the first Fifty Shades of Grey movie, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that both Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson and seeking seven-figure raises for the second and third (and probably fourth, because why have one final movie when you can break it into two parts?) installments of the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy. They will likely take their cues from Jennifer Lawrence, who just got paid $10 million for Catching Fire, while Hunger Games only paid her $500K.
Frozen 2 Is Happening
Great news for Frozen fans: They're making a sequel! Disney has announced that Frozen creators Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee have signed on to develop the sequel. Us Weekly reports that Josh Gad has already signed on to reprise his role of Olaf, the snowman. Frozen took in $1.2 billion in worldwide box office sales, making it the most successful animated film of all time.
Richard Glatzer Has Died
Richard Glatzer, who wrote and directed Still Alice with husband Wash Westmoreland, has passed away at the age of 63. Glatzer was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. Westmoreland released the following statement:
"Rich was my soul mate, my collaborator, my best friend and my life. Seeing him battle ALS for four years with such grace and courage inspired me and all who knew him. In this dark time, I take some consolation in the fact that he got to see Still Alice go out to the world. He put his heart and soul into that film, and the fact that it touched so many people was a constant joy to him."

Madonna Dated Tupac
Madonna has been making the interview round promoting her new album, Rebel Heart. She recently sat down with Howard Stern, and had this to say about her infamous Letterman appearance where she dropped the f-bomb 14 times. Us Weekly quotes her as follows:
"I was mad at [Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta."
Madonna also touched on her continuing friendship with Rosie O'Donnell, who she met on he movie A League Of Their Own
"I adore her. That was our bonding for sure, but we have other things in common. She has adopted children and so do I. She's funny and so am I. We have a lot of the same likes and dislikes. Doesn't she make you laugh?"
Who Wants Some Powdered Alcohol?

Kathy Griffin Quits Fashion Police
Kathy Griffin is leaving Fashion Police. She released the following lengthy statement, as reprinted by Buzzfeed:
"Let me introduce myself. Hi, my name is Kathy Griffin. I’m 54, have written and starred in 23 stand-up comedy specials, I have two EMMYS, a Grammy, a NYTimes #1 Bestseller, decades of activism for the #LGBT community, have performed for the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, among many other things. When I chose to step into the shoes of my beloved friend Joan Rivers at Fashion Police, I was thrilled to continue her legacy as a woman being brash and eccentric on television. I am a freedom-loving female and gay rights activist who loves to find the funny in all people, attitudes, beliefs, and appearances, but only when the context permits intelligent humor. I thought that I could bring my brand of humor to Fashion Police so that beautiful people in beautiful dresses could be teased when appropriate. My brand of humor, while unrepentant and unafraid, is all about CONTEXT. There is plenty to make fun of in pop culture without bringing people’s bodies into it. Again people…context! Listen, I’m no saint — I’m a feminist AND a Gurrrrl who loves an offensive joke or a well-timed barb and you will find plenty in my repertoire. But I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference. I want to help women, gay kids, people of color and anyone who feels underrepresented to have a voice and a LAUGH! That has been my platform for decades and my body of work speaks for itself. After 7 epodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it’s time to move on. I wish E! and the E! only the best and I hope to continue to make you all laugh performing live or on television where I can be smart, irreverent, unrepentant and unafraid in an observational way that is candid, honest and justified. Thank you to my fans for taking the ride with me. See you at the gay bars…and the MF-ing KENNEDY CENTER Saturday, June 20 and everywhere else! Tickets on sale at KathyGriffin.com. Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin Talk Fashion Police
Kelly Osbourne recently appeared on The Talk where she spoke about her time at Fashion Police:
Kathy Griffin recently sat down for an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, where she addressed the joke controversy. Griffin doesn't think there would have been as big of an issue made if she had been the one to delivery the joke, but Griffin states that she "wouldn't have said the joke in the first place. Some dude wrote it for her. Don't have anyone write you jokes or even suggest jokes for you on Fashion Police. [Rancic has] enough great insider gossip from actually being on the red carpet. That's what fans want to hear the next day. Just talk about be yourself."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - His Ego Is Bigger Than His Bank Balance
He has been spending money for the past couple of years as if he is a big rock star with huge world tours. The reality is that most people would be hard pressed to name more than one of his songs. This singer’s ego is larger than his bank account balance, but he just keeps right on spending! He isn’t broke (yet) but we don’t know how he is going pay off his various legal obligations. Madonna Talks Marriage
Madonna recently sat down for an interview with The Sun UK, where she talks about her thoughts on marriage. When talking about her marriage to Guy Ritchie, Us Weekly quotes her as follows:
"I think when you get married you have to be willing to make a lot of compromises and that's fair enough. I think that's the way it goes in relationships. However, you know, I did find myself sometimes in a state of conflict. There were many times when I wanted to express myself as an artist in ways that I don't think my ex-husband felt comfortable with. There were times when I felt incarcerated. I wasn't really allowed to be myself. It doesn't mean that marriage is a bad thing. But if you're an artist you've got to find someone who accepts who you are and are comfortable with that."
Madonna's new album, Rebel Heart, is out now.
Kardashian Korner
If you were waiting with baited breath for Bruce Jenner's docuseries on transitioning to premiere in May, TMZ has bad news: Jenner has stopped production. He has concerns that his sons aren't ready to handle his transition yet, and wants to wait until they are "in a good place" psychologically before he continues filming the series. One thing that will not be held up by his family's hesitations is his interview with Diane Sawyer. They are still filming segments for the feature, and it is proceeding on schedule (it is thought to air sometime in May).
Kim Cattrall Vetoes Jamie Dornan
Kim Cattrall recently sat down for an interview with The Independent. Among the topics the paper asked her were her thoughts on Jamie Dornan, and here they are:
"Maybe it's my age, but he doesn't look like a man to me. He looks like a young boy. I like men to look like men. I saw the preview and you know they say in three seconds you can tell if you find someone attractive or not? Well, I just thought, 'No.' Now, if he were Brendan Gleeson - well, there's a little something going on there, you know, the twinkle in the eye."

Ashton Kutcher Takes Businesses To Task Over Diaper Changing Stations
Bad news for those that hate Ashton Kutcher: this might make you like him a little bit. Over the weekend, Ashton Kutcher posted the following message on his Facebook page (as reprinted by Page Six):

Ashton Kutcher welcomed daughter Wyatt with Mila Kunis in October.
Lindsay Lohan Racially Insensitive On Twitter
Lindsay Lohan learned yesterday that even when you delete a tweet, it does not stop if from existing. TMZ has the screencap of her tweet, and all of her Twitter followers calling her out. In fairness, she's referencing Kanye's new song. But even in the iTunes store, the song is just called "All Day." I'm sure she's dialing Goop right now for tips on how to backpedal.
Karina Smirnoff 0 for 3 In The Fiancé Department
On a recent appearance as a bartender on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, former Dancing With the Stars Pro Karina Smirnoff refused to answer when show host Andy Cohen asked her about her relationship status, which is strange, because she announced an engagement in January. Well, now we know why. Page Six reports that Karina Smirnoff and Jason Adelman have called off their engagement. Adelman states that they have "different family values." While he does not directly accuse her of cheating, he alludes to being uncomfortable with the way she acts around other men, especially dancers. Smirnoff returned the ring.
Lil Wayne Was Swatted
Why is this still a thing? Yesterday, Miami police descended on the home of Lil Wayne after someone called and reported a shooting at the residence. It turned out to be a case of Swatting (in case you weren't around for the first wave in LA, "Swatting" is when someone prank calls the police and sends a SWAT team to your house). TMZ reports that Lil Wayne was not at home at the time of the incident.

Wine and Sass Blind Item - Off To A Great Start
From the whisperings coming out of this movie set, I'd say this marriage won't last long.
A+ List Actor and now A List Actress who was a B List prior to getting into this relationship.
I was surprised to hear all the talk around this since I always thought she was the aloof one and he was chasing her. Not so. Her team has been on the phone trying to find him for weeks. No response and she isn't getting her work done on set because she's too focused on tracking him down.
No one knows where he is and considering who he is, he probably is good with places to go to get away from it all...or someone. His ex thinks it's hilarious and mentioned she might know where he is, but it's slipped her mind and she might think of it soon, check back with her.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Overlapping Foursome
Here’s an interesting foursome of celebrities. Two actors, one model, one singer.
Singer and Actor 1 were dating last year. Now, they never actually admitted they were dating. They simply said they were “collaborating” on some music. Whatever. If “collaborations” include sleepovers, they were collaborating.
Everything was going fine until Singer accused Actor 1 of cheating on Singer with Actor 2. Actor 1 denied it. Big fight. Singer and Actor 1 broke up.
Actor 1 and Actor 2 continued dating for a while, but have since broken up.
Enter the Model. Singer and Model recently admitted that they are dating. Then they admitted that they have actually been dating for several months.
Now, here’s the interesting part: The time frame that they give is a lie. The truth is that at the same time that Singer was crying crocodile tears about Actor 1’s cheating ways, Singer was also cheating… with the Model!

Bachelorette x2
The producers of The Bachelor threw viewers a curve ball last night when they announced that next season's Bachelorette would be two women! Both Britt and Kaitlyn were chosen by ABC as the next Bachelorette. So what does that mean? Even ABC doesn't know. Here's their press release, as printed in Time:
"ABC's hit romantic reality series, "The Bachelorette," will kick off its 11th the surprises of this season's 'Bachelor' with the biggest one of all: there will be two Bachelorettes: the charming, charismatic beauty, Britt, who captivated Chris Soules and the rest of Bachelor Nation with a memorable hug on that first night at the Bachelor mansion, and Kaitlyn, the gorgeous, fun-loving, warm-herated, but irreverent firecracker who let down her guard only to have her heart crushed. Who will the men prefer? Eventually, only one woman will be left to hand out the final rose."
Already ABC is facing backlash from viewers who are turned off by the thought that The Bachelorette is changing from a show where men compete for a woman, to a show where women have to compete for the right to have men compete for them. Here's the thing, both the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchises have sucked lately. They really need some stunt casting to liven up the ratings. May I submit two suggestions:
1) Bethenny Frankel
She is used to being on reality TV, and whoever she ends up with will need to get used to it to, because that's how she makes a living. Where better to find a man comfortable in front of reality TV cameras than on a reality show?
2) Jennifer Lopez
She is in the spotlight, and needs a man that is comfortable in the spotlight too. Where better than a reality show to find one? She likes younger men; who wouldn't want to watch the hot cast of competitors that ABC would cast for her season?
Just a thought.
Lauren Conrad On Relationships
Former Laguna Beach and The Hills star Lauren Conrad, 29, recently sat down for an interview with Redbook, where she talked about relationships (Conrad got married last year to William Tell):
"[I was] never a person who was obsessed with the idea of marriage. William Tell was the first person I ever thought I could marry"
On the downside of marrying an attorney:
"I watch The Good Wife with him, and he's like, 'That's incorrect. You would actually do this...' It's a nightmare!"
On working with strong women:
"Over the past few years I've been able to work with several women who I really respected because they didn't take on that role of being a bitch. The were strong, but they were kind and they didn't need to shout to be heard. A lot of women feel like they need to be tough in order to be taken seriously. We have this idea that kindness is weakness, which I don't think is true."

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey recently sold their home in Bel Air for $9 million. The problem? Nick Cannon claims that he had no knowledge of the sale. TMZ reports that Carey and Cannon's business manager, Michael Kane, was in charge of the sale of the house, but that Kane was taking direction solely from Carey's people. Cannon is now suing, and demanding that the proceeds of the house be frozen until it is determined how the money is split. As for Kane, he calls the lawsuit frivolous, and calls Cannon desperate.

Lainey Gossip Blind Item - Skeeve In Real Life Too
Theirs is known as one of the most solid show business marriages. Both of them are talented. Both of them work steadily. Both are well-respected. Both can be rather high-brow though they’ve tried at blockbusters and secretly aspire to big movie status without the big movie star lifestyle though, seeing as they do try to live under the radar. Which works for him because he steps out on her all the time. Sometimes it’s with civilians. One time it was with a young actress with mesmerising eyes and the hair of an angel. It was dirty and undercover, just like their subject matter.
So when you see him in movies, and he always plays the skeevy older creep? It’s not exactly a stretch.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Underage Girls At The Concert
Here is a story that is being shopped around: A few nights ago, this Singer and his band held a concert. There were a couple of underage girls at the Meet & Greet. The Singer and His Wife (who is a model and a celebrity in her own right) tried to get the girls drunk. The parents of the girls found out, went ballistic, and are now suing the band for preying on innocent underage girls and serving alcohol to minors for nefarious purposes.
Sounds salacious, right? Except… it’s not even close to the truth!
The truth in this case is that there was a concert, but there was no alcohol being served to minors at the Meet & Greet. In fact, the two girls in this story were not even part of the Meet & Greet. The girls and their Mom were privately invited to hang out in the dressing room area with the band and the crew (you’ll understand why in a minute). Everyone was eating and drinking, and The Singer’s Wife walked around offering up shots of tequila. When she got to the girls and their Mom, they begged Mom for permission to do just one shot… but Mom said “No.” When told that the girls weren’t 21 yet, The Singer’s Wife immediately apologized and said that she didn’t realize that they were too young to drink.
So, how do we know that The Singer and His Wife are not “being sued by angry parents for trying to get random underage girls drunk at a Meet & Greet”? Because the person shopping the story around doesn’t realize that the girls’ Mom was actually there…. and that the girls’ Dad is the band’s attorney! Whoops.
It’s interesting, though, that they are shopping around a version that tries to make The Singer and His Wife look as bad as possible. Some unreliable media outlet will probably run it. At least you’ll know the truth.

The service will launch in time for the latest season of Game of Thrones; the show released a new trailer for the next season yesterday. Watch it below, or at Buzzfeed:

Simpsons Co-Creator Sam Simon Has Died
We lost one of the good ones yesterday. Sam Simon, 9-time Emmy Winner and one of the men behind the creation of The Simpsons, passed away from colon cancer at the age of 59. Simon was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer in February of 2013, and was initially given three to six months to live. He spent the last years of his life creating an amazingly charitable legacy. Many tributes to Simon poured in yesterday. Among them:
PETA President Ingrid Newkirk:
"I think Sam died with a smile on his face, knowing that elephants were on their way out of the circus, something that, together with the closure of SeaWorld, he dreamt of and talked about all the time. He said the last two years of his life, since his diagnosis, were his happiest, as he used them to help animals who had nothing, and it gave him great joy to see chimpanzees, elephants, and even a 'gay' bull find freedom from harm because he had worked with PETA to get them all out of hideous circumstances."
Mercy for Animals president Nathan Runkle:
"Sam was a heroic humanitarian whose selfless generosity and boundless courage inspired countless people around the world to be kinder to animals-and each other. His heart was as great as his sense of humor. He never missed an opportunity to speak up for those in need. Sam led by example and showed us all what bravery, kindness, and determination truly were. A more compassionate future draws ever more near because of his legacy of generosity."

A Very Special Message From Outtie
Dear Anarchists,
Anarchy, by definition, has no rules. It was my intention to keep it that way on this site, but due to the actions of one relentless commenter, we now have our one and only rule: if you tell another commenter to die or to kill themselves in the comments on this site, you are dead to this site. I have done my best to remove the comments from this one particular commenter whenever they pop up (the only time that I have ever done so) so that you don't have to read them here every day, but I still have to see each and every single one. No one deserves to be subjected to the level of hatred that this person puts out into the universe on a daily basis, and that includes me.
Because of the limitations in Blogger's platform, the comments are now hosted by Disqus. It's not the choice I would have made under any other circumstance, but it was the best available option to keep all of the features that we know and love (subscribing to comments, replying directly to other users, mobile-friendly), while enabling the banning of anyone who would tell someone to die on a public website.
In order to prevent this behavior, the default moderation is set so that the comments of verified Disqus profiles get through immediately, without moderation. If you don't wish to create a Disqus profile, you are allowed to comment as a guest, but all guest comments are automatically moderated. There will be a slight delay before your comment will pop up on the site, but it will make it up eventually. Again, I am not going to suddenly be moderating everyone's posts. People have different opinions, and are allowed to disagree and even fight. What they are not allowed to do is to tell other people to die.
I apologize for springing this on all of you so suddenly, but it had to be done for the good of this awesome community of commenters. Let's all make it a great week!
XOXO,
Outtie
