Blind Gossip Blind Item - Buddies Again
These two pop stars used to be friends. Then they stayed away from each other for a while. Now they’re buddies again.
Why are they hanging out together again? Because neither one is sober. It’s hard to be judgmental about someone else if you are partying yourself. And as long as you’re going to fall off the wagon, might as well take an old friend down with you!

Charlie Hunnam Talks 50 Shades Again
Charlie Hunnam recently sat down for an interview with V Man Magazine, where he talked once again about passing up the role of Christian Grey. The magazine quotes him as follows:
“Oh, it was the worst professional experience of my life. It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I’ve ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking. I’m pretty mercurial and a very difficult, longwinded decision-maker at the best of times. It was deeply unpleasant and challenging emotionally. I really, really pride myself on being a professional and a man of keeping my word. It means a lot to me, truly. There was a lot of personal stuff going on in my life that left me on real emotional shaky ground and mentally weak. I just got myself so fucking overwhelmed and I was sort of having panic attacks about the whole thing. I just didn’t know what to do.”

Grace Jones Reviews Today's Pop Stars
In an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, "I'll Never Write My Memoirs," Grace Jones gives her take on today's pop stars. Page Six quotes her as follows:
"There will always be a replacement coming along very soon — a newer version, a crazier version, a louder version. So if you haven’t got a long-term plan, then you are merely a passing phase, the latest trend, yesterday’s event. I don’t even know if [Rihanna] knows that what she’s doing comes from me, but I bet you the people styling her know."

It will be good for her; she will draw from everything I have built and add it to her brand, and I will get nothing back except for a little temporary attention.”
Reese Witherspoon Talks Making Female-Centric Movies
Actress and Producer Reese Witherspoon recently sat down for an interview with Women's Health Magazine, where she talked about making female-centric movies. The magazine quotes her as follows:
"I really feel like if I can help one other woman tell her story, or help one other woman get a show on a network, or make a movie about something that she’s passionate about then I’ve done my job. It’s hard to get to the place where I’m at, but it feels really good to be able to use the opportunities that I’ve had and the relationships that I have in order to create new opportunities for other creative women. [“Wild”] is a real spiritual movie and I’m ready to tell more meaningful stories.”

“My idea of fashion is a very different one to most. I don’t want to follow trends — ever. I don’t want to be the prettiest girl in the room. I don’t want to be the funniest or the smartest. I just want to be me and do what makes me as happy and creative as I possibly can be in whatever project that I’m doing.”
Chrissy Teigen Talks Nannies
Although model Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend have yet to start a family, Teigen has already formed an opinion on nannies. The New York Post recently caught up with her at Fashion Week, where she had this to say:
“No hot nannies, drivers or maids. It’s an ongoing joke in my house. I do want to have kids one day, so it’s something that I have to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men. It’s too late for me, though, because I have a hot assistant — she is cute. These days, it doesn’t really matter what you look like — sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do. I have to keep an eye on my assistant now, damn! Christine, you’re done!”

Blind Gossip Blind Item - The Girl That Got Away
This young multi-hyphenate is mostly known for her work on TV. She recently got engaged. Good for her! It’s nice that she found a keeper.
There’s a rumor going around that one of her exes – a very famous TV guy – is devastated about the engagement. A source close to the situation tells us:
Devastated? Ha ha ha ha! He couldn’t care less. It’s not like he was ever going to marry her or anything. She’s not like “The girl that got away.” She’s like “The beard that completed her contract!”

Kaley Cuoco Sweeting Talks Healthy Eating
Kaley Cuoco Sweeting covers this month's Shape magazine. Inside, she talked about her healthy habits. The magazine quotes her as follows:
“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had to change my food intake. My husband, Ryan [Sweeting, a professional tennis player], eats so much. When we first got married, it was so much fun to eat like him. We got into this habit we called the bedtime snack. The drawers next to the bed were filled with candy. Eventually, I realized it was mindless eating. I was just doing it because he was doing it, and it was adding hundreds of calories I didn’t even think about. So I cut that out. Our refrigerator and pantry have completely changed, because we don’t eat crap anymore. No more soda, chips, cereal; we had boxes of stuff that only a 4-year-old would eat...I have to have a cheat day. I know when I’m being good all week long that come Sunday, I’m going to lie by the pool, have a drink, and eat some pizza. Then I wake up on Monday morning and I’m all ready to start the week again. I’m just going to be in a bad mood all the time if there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.”

Shaquille O'Neal Talks Importance of Graduating
Dr. Shaquille O'Neal recently taped a segment for American Graduate Day, a nationwide effort emphasizing mentorship to help students graduate high school. After taping his segment, O'Neal sat down for an interview with People, where he talked about his motivation for graduating college. The magazine quotes him as follows:
"I believe in role models, how they can influence people. It's important to keep kids on the right track. My grandmother, Odessa Chambliss [motivated me]. She was a nurse; she was the smartest person in the world. She didn't graduate from high school. She had to get a GED and then went on to nursing school to support me and my mother. You don't have to make a whole lot of money to be a role model. My role model made $25,000 a year. I was a medium-level juvenile delinquent. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that can lead a kid down the wrong path. But I had people in my life – my mother, my father, my grandmother – who sacrificed a lot to make me successful."
On why he has a doctorate degree:

On why he has a doctorate degree:
"I had to do it. One, for my children. Two, for the African American community. Three, for the sports community. And four, for my mother. I promised my mother that I would get my bachelor's. And then the reason why I got my master's was because every time I'd go to a meeting with my business managers, they wouldn't look at me. They'd just look at my lawyers. So I thought, 'Okay, you guys don't think I understand business terminology. Let me go learn it.' So I got a master's degree. Then my mother called me and said, 'You know, we don't have any doctors in the family.' So I looked into it. It took 5 years, and I did it. I didn't do it so people would call me Dr. O'Neal. But I went to my kids' PTA meeting the other day and a guy addressed me as 'Dr. O'Neal' in front of my son; it was a really proud moment for me."
Kate Hudson Talks Style
Kate Hudson, who stars in Jimmy Choo's Fall campaign, recently sat down for an interview with Us Weekly where she talked about her style. The magazine quotes her as follows:
"My mom didn’t let me wear heels back [before I was 12], but I used to go in her closet and try hers on, of course. [For my grade school graduation] I wore a sundress that had a big skirt and it was white with little cherries on it. My mom bought me my first pair of high heels that day, they must have only been an inch or so. They were bright red and she gave them to me all wrapped up. I was so happy! I would say that my style sort of depends on my mood, but comfort is definitely the common denominator, which means a lot of pieces that are flowy and light. I've always been attracted to the ’70s—sexy, with a lot of freedom in the overall aesthetic. My fashion icons are Julie Christie, Anita Pallenberg, Kate Moss, and Cher."

One is an actress. One is not. They don’t know each other but each thinks that they are “the only one.” Up until now, he has been telling each of them that he couldn’t be seen in public with them because the public thinks that he has been with the same woman for many years.

I just want to be young and enjoy it, but this lifestyle absolutely made me grow up faster. For me, age is just a number. It just makes no sense that, even a month ago, people were complaining that I was too young to be doing certain things, and now people are just okay with it because I’m grown. Sienna Miller Talks Motherhood
Actress Sienna Miller recently sat down for an interview with British Vogue, where she talked about the changes in her life, and motherhood. The magazine quotes her as follows:
"[Life is] really quite overwhelming recently, just with the volume of everything going on. Everything's shifting. It's actually been the shittiest year, and amazing. It's always yin and yang. I feel like if you're excelling in one area, it's hard to manage both and I do feel like the work is going really well. Obviously when you have a baby it's the most incredible experience but your life is also catapulted into this chaos and you are exhausted. I could literally get on this table and fall asleep. I'd like to be better at managing things; I'd like to be more super -- although we're never going to feel it, even if we are. That's the curse of motherhood -- we just run ourselves ragged. I'm just trying to get a sense of what that guilt is. I sometimes feel like it's a totally invented emotion. It's strange to be punishing ourselves this way. It's not healthy."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - She Tried to Jump Ship
The cast members of this reality show usually present a united front. That’s why we were a little surprised when one family member recently criticized another.
Well, we just found out why.
MONEY!
She has no education, no profession and no other means of supporting herself beyond reality television. Her significant other is equally useless. They are worried that there is no money coming in and decided together that if she turned on a family member and badmouthed them, the public would like her more and they would be in a better position to book their own gig.
Of course the move was met by opposition from family members, and she was reprimanded immediately for her actions. However, she got her point across. One of her sisters is watching our girl closely to see what happens in the next couple of weeks. If her sister’s strategy worked and she starts getting paid work, expect her to make a rebellious move as well in the near future.

The Hollywood Reporter announces that Maroon 5 has postponed a concert in South Korea due to Adam Levine's "health problems." The singer has apparently been suffering from "neck muscle issues." The statement about neck muscle issues was released in Korean, and could have been mistranslated; the same word is used for both neck and throat. This is sort of a non-story, but it's a slow news day, and an excuse to post this video.

Tom Ford's Daily Routine
Fashion Designer and filmmaker Tom Ford recently sat down for an interview with Mr. Porter's The Journal, where he talked about his daily routine. The publication quotes him as follows:
"I get up and make myself a gigantic iced coffee. I then answer emails and work until about 6 a.m. Then I will head upstairs and have a second giant iced coffee and lay in the bathtub. I don’t like warm drinks of any kind. I lay in my bathtub with a bendable straw in my coffee and no lights and only one candle lit. I love that time in the morning when no one else is awake, and I’m alone, and then I can slowly come to life.”

Then on to the office for a sushi lunch:
“My assistants think I don’t like people who eat. It’s true I don’t like to see or smell food in the office. But I don’t like the staff to leave the office, either. I’ve never actually seen anyone here eat. Perhaps they eat under their desks when I’m in here doing interviews.”
Ford has been sober since 2004, and ends most days watching TV in bed by 10 p.m.

On wanting to work with friends:
“I want to work with people that I have a connection with. I think for a while I was chasing the 10 list, right? The 10 directors you want to work with — and that didn’t fare well for me. I do much better with loving, familial environments where you feel like you can fail and the dude will get you on the other side. So I’m trying to make friends now and work with those people.”
On Gary Oldman, who he calls "the greatest actor alive":
“He’s my hero, I love him. I do anything he tells me. I follow him around like a weirdo. I hear he’s going to sound mix or something and I’ll just show up and dude’s looking at me like ‘what are you doing here?’ because I’ve already seen the sound mix but I’m back there and go ‘Hey, what’s up Gary? Looking at sound mix huh?'”

Blind Gossip Blind Item - I Look Like The Brother
This young film actor wanted a role on this big HBO drama series so badly that he contacted the producers directly to let them know that he was available and that he wanted the part. They recently announced who booked the role… and it wasn’t him.
Instead, they chose a different young actor who was featured in a very popular franchise film series.
Our young actor was furious, yelling “But he doesn’t look anything like the brother! I look like the brother! He doesn’t!” What he didn’t realize was that producers didn’t want someone who looked like the brother. They wanted someone who looked completely different. And they GOT him!
