Blind Gossip Blind Item - Double Down Phony
As long as this TV star keeps doubling down with her lies, we’re going to keep calling her on it!
She wants you to think that she is having lots of sex with her long-time, paid-for “boyfriend.” In fact, when her appearance changed a little bit, her first comment was about how it would improve sex with him.
What a phony! If anyone should be grateful about her change… it’s her girlfriend!

Popbitch Blind Item - Country House Video
A smartphone video is apparently being shopped around from a party at a TV chef’s country house. Which hard-partying celebrity was so off her face she decided she wanted to shave her head, a la Britney in 2007? Thankfully her friends managed to talk her out of it.

Manson Excerpts from Beach Boy Mike Love's Memoir
Beach Boy Mike Love is releasing his memoir, Good Vibrations, in which he touches on the relationship between Charles Manson and the Beach Boys (in particular, Dennis Wilson). Here are a couple of excerpts from the memoir that appear in this week's People Magazine:
"[Charles] Manson was also in the car one day when Dennis [Wilson] dropped Terry [Melcher] off at his rented home at 10050 Cielo Drive, at the top of a steep hill in the Benedict Canyon area. [When Melcher refused to work with Manson as a record producer], Manson wouldn't stand for it. Consumed by rage and seeking revenge against a corrupt society, he convinced his followers that the apocalypse was coming in a bloody race war, at the end of which he and his disciples would take over."
On Terry's move from the Cielo House in January 1969 (8 months before the Tate/LaBianca murders):
"The move was no accident. Terry, Doris [Day]'s only child, was extremely close to his mom. He had told her about Manson – and about some of his scary antics, his brandishing of knives, his zombie followers – and that Manson had been to the house on Cielo and she insisted he move out. A mother's intuition, perhaps, and it may have saved his life."
On Mike's then-wife's affair with Dennis Wilson:
"The worst part of Suzanne's affair with Dennis wasn't even the affair. Terry Melcher later told me that after we separated, Suzanne and Dennis would sometimes go out and leave our two young children with a babysitter. One one occasion, the babysitter was Manson disciple Susan Atkins. Atkins testified that she held Sharon Tate – who pleaded with the killers to spare her life and that of her unborn child – while another assailant, Charles 'Tex' Watson, stabbed her to death. In a theatrical flourish, Atkins used Tate's blood to write 'PIG' on the outside of the front door. She was convicted of participating in eight murders and was sentenced to death. And she was our babysitter."

Pamela Anderson Wants You to Stop Watching Porn
Pamela Anderson co-wrote an Op-ed for the Wall Street Journal with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach titled Take the Pledge: No More Indulging Porn. Here is an excerpt:
“This is a public hazard of unprecedented seriousness given how freely available, anonymously accessible and easily disseminated pornography is nowadays. And if anyone still doubted the devastation that porn addiction wreaks on those closest to the addict, behold the now-shattered marriage of Mr. Weiner and Huma Abedin, a breakup that she initiated, reportedly, in shock at the disgraced ex-congressman’s inclusion of their 4-year-old son in one lewd photo that he sent to a near-stranger.
The march of technology is irreversible and we aren’t so naive as to believe that any kind of imposed regulation could ever reseal the Pandora’s box of pornography. What is required is an honest dialogue about what we are witnessing — the true nature and danger of porn — and an honor code to tamp it down in the collective interests of our well-being as individuals, as families and as communities. Simply put, we must educate ourselves and our children to understand that porn is for losers — a boring, wasteful and dead-end outlet for people too lazy to reap the ample rewards of healthy sexuality.”

Popbitch Blind Item - TOWIE
Celebrities will often talk about how selfish and self-destructive cocaine once made them, but very few talk about the other, more practical dangers it can pose. A stewardess for a large airline recently got a pretty grim lesson in the side effects after becoming a bit friendly with one of the members of the TOWIE cast out in Dubai. He got himself so gakked up that he lost control of his more delicate functions and ended up soiling his bedsheets in a rather spectacular fashion. Lindsay Lohan Loses in Court
Page Six report that a Manhattan appeals court has tossed out Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit against the makers of Grand Theft Auto. You know, the suit where she claims that a character in the game was her. The ruling states, "The images are not of Lohan herself, but merely an avatar in the game that Lohan claims is a depiction of her. This video game’s unique story, characters, dialogue, and environment, combined with the player’s ability to choose how to proceed in the game, render it a work of fiction or satire.” Damn, looks like Lindsay will have to stuck with her Russian Interview plan to make money.
Chloe Grace Moretz Is Back on the Market
Page Six reports that ChloΓ« Grace Moretz, 19, has split from Brooklyn Beckham, 17. After months of speculation, Moretz announced that the two were a couple back in May. In the past few weeks, they have both been in the same city, but did not spend any time together. Ah, young love.
Wilmer Valderrama Is on the Reboud
E! News reports that Wilmer Valderrama has reunited with ex-girlfriend Minka Kelly, months after splitting from Demi Lovato. A source states, "[Minka and Wilmer] did have a late dinner at Palms Thai together last night. They sat across from each other and it was just the two of them. I didn't personally see if they were holding hands or if they were being affectionate, but it looked like a date. They looked casual and relaxed. Yes, Wilmer was a gentleman and picked up the tab to pay for their food." The couple previously dated in 2012, right after Kelly had split from Derek Jeter.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - The Triple Threat's Pipeline
This cute blonde triple threat originally left that TV show because she was absolutely convinced that she was poised to be a big star.
"She thought that her biggest worry would be be choosing between a starring role in a film, heading up her own TV series, or recording a hit album and then going on a big tour."
She did a TV movie… and then the pipeline dried up.
"She is technically talented, but she is just lacking that star quality."
Number of projects in production? Zero. Number of projects in development? Zero.
That’s why she is back on the small screen. Back to that TV competition show. Not as a performer, either.

Kardashian Korner
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are on the cover of this week's People Magazine. Here's what they had to say in the accompanying interview:
Rob on missing Kim and Kanye's wedding:
"I was doing my suit fittings in Paris right before the wedding and I just wasn't comfortable. There were cameras at the airport on our trip there and I was very unhappy with the person I saw in all the pictures. I'm 6'1" and at my most I probably weighed 300 lbs. I'm upset I missed my sister's wedding, but it was a personal decision."
Rob on diabetes:
"It was a big-time scare. I had found out I had type 2 diabetes six months before, but I stopped taking my insulin. I didn't enjoy the routine. So I ended up nonstop throwing up and I couldn't even swallow because my mouth was so dry. I felt like I was going to die. When I got out of the hospital, I knew I needed to make changes. Chyna and I had a really big talk, and she told me that by having her cook for me, my diabetes would be gone – and it is (he currently weighs in at 285 pounds)." he adds.
Rob on becoming a recluse:
"I'm very good at disappearing. But I'll never go to that place again. The way I dealt with my issues maybe wasn't the best, but nobody can make me happy but me. Now I want to see everybody in my family every chance I get. You never know what is going to happen tomorrow, and I don't want to do that to my mom."
In other Kardashian news, Kourtney Kardashian is on the cover of this month's Cosmopolitan Magazine. Here's what she had to say:
On Kim waging a social smackdown on Taylor Swift: "It's her husband, and he's family. The truth is the truth, so why not let it be known?"
On whether her children watch KUWTK: "They've seen some of it, but no. I was in the shower, he [Mason] woke up, and it happened to be on. He was like, 'Who is Blac Chyna? And Kiki [Kim] showed Larsa [Pippen] her vagina!' I was like, this is why they don't watch the show. Some of the content is just not appropriate."
On her relationship with Scott Disick: "…the idea of having my family together is amazing, but it's not the way things ended up. They may end up there. I'm not sure. To me, it's in God's hands. If it's meant to be, then things will line up … We definitely tried for a long time. But relationships are exhausting! Being able to focus on the kids and me right now is good. We say to each other all the time, 'I'm the coolest ex-girlfriend/baby mama you could ever ask for!'"
On what will happen when Scott or she gets a new girlfriend or boyfriend: "That's what I don't know. We're so not there yet."
On future children: "I would have more. I could see myself with six kids. I just don't know what's in God's plan."

2) Most streamed album on Spotify in 1 week for "Purpose"

Blurred Lines Appeal
The Hollywood Reporter announces that a group of over 200 musicians has banded together to appeal the Blurred Lines decision, in which a judge declared the song to be copyright infringement. The appeal includes members of Train, Linkin Park, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Black Crowes, Fall Out Boy, Tool and Tears for Fears as well as Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, John Oates of Hall & Oates, R. Kelly, Hans Zimmer, Jennifer Hudson, Jean Baptiste, Evan Bogart and Brian Burton (Danger Mouse). Their brief reads as follows:
"The verdict in this case threatens to punish songwriters for creating new music that is inspired by prior works," states the artists' brief authored by Ed McPherson. "All music shares inspiration from prior musical works, especially within a particular musical genre. By eliminating any meaningful standard for drawing the line between permissible inspiration and unlawful copying, the judgment is certain to stifle creativity and impede the creative process. The law should provide clearer rules so that songwriters can know when the line is crossed, or at least where the line is.
Such a result, if allowed to stand, is very dangerous to the music community, is certain to stifle future creativity, and ultimately does a disservice to past songwriters as well," they add. "One can only imagine what our music would have sounded like if David Bowie would have been afraid to draw from Shirley Bassie, or if the Beatles would have been afraid to draw from Chuck Berry, or if Elton John would have been afraid to draw from the Beatles, or if Elvis Presley would have been afraid to draw from his many influences."

Colton Haynes Received Human Rights Campaign Award
Months after coming out, Colton Haynes was awarded the Human Rights Campaign's Visibility Award. Here's what he had to say in his acceptance speech, as reprinted by E! News:
"I've experienced a lot of 'wow' moments in my life. But I think tonight, it's probably topping all of them. My coming out was a bit splashy for many people...That's just how entertainment works. It makes a bigger deal out of everyone's personal decisions. Tonight I can actually be myself for the first time, and it feels incredible. I feel lucky just knowing we have such a strong, fierce, united community that believes as I do that equality is our birthright. It's not a slogan.
I don't necessarily feel especially deserving of this recognition. We all know that there are many other ways, many other people who have come before me and blazed the trail as LGBT advocates and role models. And I'm walking in their shoes, and I'm following their lead. My promise is simple and real, and I'm not making it to you. I'm making it to the next generations of lesbians and gay men, bisexuals, and transgender youth, and I hope my example will give them the confidence and hope to be who they are as well. We have to listen to our own voices and our own hearts and that's when we become the best people."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Bag of Tricks
It’s just about time for the new season of this popular show to begin! That also means it’s time for producers to break out the old bag of tricks to get you to watch!
For example, there are reports “leaking” that the judges on this reality competition show are fighting! They really hate each other! Oh, no!
Nah. They all get along fine.
The stories are planted to create drama. The show hasn’t produced any real stars, so they need something to keep you coming back.
Last season it was fake love. Now it’s fake hate. Same song. Different key.

An Interview with Jaden and Willow Smith
Pharrell Williams recently interviewed Jaden and Willow Smith for Interview Magazine. Here are some of the highlights from the interview:
PHARRELL WILLIAMS: "So, what's up, guys? What's on your mind, Willow?"
WILLOW SMITH: "This morning actually was pretty intense because I was thinking about the world and my place in the world, things that I have made or want to make. I was thinking about all the things that I could do that I don't do. But, you know, I was just thinking about the world and everything."
PHARRELL: "Well, you guys are the future. There's an older generation that feels like they know what the future should be. And then there's your generation that may have an idea of what the future should be, but that could evolve. How old are you now? "
WILLOW: "I'm 15."
JADEN SMITH: "I actually just turned 18 last Friday."
PHARRELL: "Do you guys ever feel any generational divide when you have a conversation with older folks?"
WILLOW: "Oh, definitely. It seems like they don't understand our thought process. Or, like, things have happened in the past that they're still mad about. We want to accept them and move forward. I mean, I can definitely see things that have happened in the past that they're holding on to and things that are happening right now that bog them down, but this generation wants to transcend them."
PHARRELL: "It would be cool if they would remember when they were teenagers what the generational divide was then. Except that the generational divide is much more blunt at this time. You guys grew up online. Part of your life is on social media. And when they look at it as just something to do, they don't realize that they also essentially live online. They don't realize that their phone has replaced their wallet."
WILLOW: "Yep. I know so many kids who literally are, like, Instagram-famous. They have done nothing but post pictures on Instagram. And they have followings. People love to see them in person, but it's only because they post on their Instagram. It's literally crazy. Kids will paint a picture of themselves that is so far beyond who they actually are. It's like they're wearing someone else's skin."
PHARRELL: "I love it. The positive path and the trajectory that you guys are on, where does that come from? Who are your biggest inspirations?"
WILLOW: "My parents. Growing up, all I saw was my parents trying to be the best people they could be, and people coming to them for wisdom, coming to them for guidance, and them not putting themselves on a pedestal, but literally being face-to-face with these people and saying, "I'm no better than you, but the fact that you're coming to me to reach some sort of enlightenment or to shine a light on something, that makes me feel love and gratitude for you." They always give back what people give to them. And sometimes they keep giving and giving and giving. And some people don't feel like they need to give anything back because it's like, "Oh, if you're famous, you can just keep giving, and it doesn't matter." It's not just about money. It's not just about giving people gifts or whatever. What my parents have given to me is not anything that has to do with money or success or anything that society says people should be focusing on—it's something spiritual that only certain people can grasp and accept. And that's how I act and move in the world today."
JADEN: "I 100 percent agree with Willow on that one. My parents are definitely my biggest role models. And that's where me and Willow both pull all of our inspiration from to change the world. It all comes from a concept of affecting the world in a positive way and leaving it better than it was than when we came. I feel like that enters into all types of different areas because there are so many different outlets that life has to offer for us. That goes into technology, into music. That goes into science, into spirituality, into education. Where me and Willow come from, a lot of it is trying to make society more efficient, so that kids don't cry, like, "Why do I have to go to school?" Instead, kids are like, "Yeah! I'm so glad to go to school! I'm a better person than I was yesterday, and I can help people.""
PHARRELL: "Do you guys have any philosophical questions that you'd like to present to the world that's going to read this?"
JADEN: "A question I would like to present to the world is: Where is the love? And what are we doing? Who's making the decisions that are putting us in the predicaments that we are in, with all of these people losing their lives around the world in so many different ways? I feel like a serious revolution needs to take place in order for human beings to evolve in a way where we can truly exist as a society. Because, right now, we do not act as a true society. We act as a world under terror, just scrambling to survive."
WILLOW: "That's definitely one of my biggest questions. Another is: How are humans going to start taking responsibility for the actions that they take? When are we going to stop pointing the finger at someone else for something we do unconsciously? How are we going to start being aware of those things and changing those things?"
PHARRELL: "Where do you see yourself in ten years?"
JADEN: "Gone."
WILLOW: "[laughs] Did you just say, "God"?"
JADEN: "I said, "Gone!""
WILLOW: "I feel that. I see myself in the mountains somewhere in a tent cooking a squirrel. [laughs]"
JADEN: "Not a squirrel, Willow! Why!? Why a squirrel?"
WILLOW: "I don't know! Because that's probably going to be the only food I have."
JADEN: "Nah, you're going to be a vegetarian. You'll be surviving off grass in the morning."
WILLOW: "Hopefully. Yeah, bro! I want to retreat back to living off the land and just being in nature, experiencing life in the most pure, natural way possible. "
JADEN: "Agreed."

Katharine McPhee Has No Regerts
Yes, that was intentional. Katherine McPhee recently sat down for an interview with Ocean Drive Magazine; here's what she had to say:
You’ve had quite a journey.
"I feel pretty grounded. I got married really young, and then divorced, and in the last couple of years, I felt like, Wow, this is what I should have been doing when I was 20 instead of planning a wedding. But I don’t have any regrets. All of the choices I made I learned from in a really deep way. I have always been fortunate to have strong influences in my life who have forced me to look at my own choices and my own failures. I think we are all on that journey to have more awareness about who we are as a person and to grow and learn."
You are single now. What are you looking for in a guy?
"I have not been single for very much of my life. I don’t really understand how to date or how to be single. As soon as I know that I don’t really want to be in a relationship with somebody, I don’t really care to keep it going. I’m trying to date in a way that doesn’t lock me down. There is still a certain level of attachment with the prior relationship that I was in, so emotionally to be suddenly dating other people is not as easy. People say, “You just need to hook up with a bunch of people,” but I am more of an in-love kind of person. I want to be in love with one person. I’m a one-man kind of gal and a kind of true romantic at heart."
What’s your take on the evolution of beauty right now and with girls trying to emulate reality stars, like the Kardashians?
"I love the Kardashians; I enjoy their show. I think some of the images they are constantly putting out are a part of their brand, like constant perfection. I think that they actually are pretty deep thinking, feeling people that have to deal with their issues and lives in their own ways. But there is too much emphasis on the way people look. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look as good as you can, but there is no stopping it. The thing about social media is that it brought access to this so-called “perfection.”"
What is your view on plastic surgery in Hollywood?
"I don’t really have a problem with it, but I feel like the reason people don’t want to talk about it is because there is this stigma on whether or not it is actually good work. I don’t have super long legs, so if I could ever trade up, I’d add an extra half an inch to my legs. You look at all the work people have done in Hollywood; even when they look amazing, everyone wants to say, “Well, it looks amazing, but it’s fake.” There is always this angle of trying to take people down. I’m not going to run out and get a face-lift anytime soon, but I don’t know how I’m going to feel 20 years from now. I do believe in aging. I think that there is nothing more unattractive than someone who just refuses to age. At some point you have to allow yourself to age a little bit. But I can’t say that I won’t want to look as good as I possibly can in any stage of my life."
Selena Gomez Taking Another Break
After completing her Revival World Tour, Selena Gomez has announced that she is taking a break. Here's what she had to say in a statement to People:
"As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I've discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges. I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues."

Scott Eastwood Is Switzerland
Scott Eastwood recently sat down for an interview with Entertainment Weekly, where he addressed the feud between The Rock and Vin Diesel on the set of Fast 8. Here's what he had to say:
"I had a great time working on the film. I don't know anything about that stuff. We had barbeques like every day on set. Tyrese would put on barbeques for everybody. We'd go run out and shoot a scene and come back and listen to music and eat grilled chicken."
It is quite possible that he just didn't notice any tension between the two because he was too busy staring at himself in a mirror between takes.

Casting News:
Now that Thomas Gibson has left, E! News reports that Paget Brewster will return to CBS's Criminal Minds as a series regular. I guess that answers the question as to why she left in the first place!
