Lance Armstrong Has To Pay $10 Million For Being A Douche

SCA Promotions recently won a fraud dispute against Lance Armstrong and Tailwind Sports Company. The New York Times reports that the suit was over "unparalleled pageant of international perjury, fraud and conspiracy" used to cover up Armstrong's use of performance-enhancing drugs. Lance Armstrong lying? Could you imagine? A Texas court ruled in favor of SCA Promotions, and now Armstrong has to pay the company $10 million. Armstrong's lawyers are appealing the ruling. You stay classy, Lance.

    1. He has plenty of money unfortunately. Such a douche but a rich one. Estimated to be worth about 125 million.

    2. Remember he had a lot of endorsement deals and he was running PE drugs not just for himself, for other people. And of course all the people who had recent endorsement deals when the truth came out once and for all want some or all of their money back.

    3. Ah....I thought his money had dried up since he can't get endorsements or compete any longer. I knew he had downsized his house and read how he's staying at a friends place in Hawaii and thoughtsp that was cause he was broke. I don't have sympathy for him. at. All.

    4. I imagine he started moving his money around when the shit was about to hit the fan. If he was smart he stashed his money in an off shore account. That's what I would have done.

  2. It takes a lot of ball to do what he's doing.

  3. This is so sad. Armstrong could have been an example both for his perseverance and for his battle against cancer. He chose a different path. Winning was everything - even if it was through cheating. He let down a lot of people who had faith in him.

    1. And his cancer was likely a function of his illegal drug use.

  4. Oh how we've missed you, FSP! :D

He's an a**hat, I have zero sympathy. Posing with those pics of his medals before he had to give them back for being a lying, cheating, wannabe hero who consistently bullied people who didn't bend to his will was just another step on his ladder of douchery. It makes me not like Matthew McC a little bit for being his bestie. :/

  5. I think this guy has serious issues. You've got to be one sick puppy to pull the crap he's pulled. I really, really dislike him. I hope Sheryl thanks her lucky stars every day for dodging the bullet.

  8. Saw this quote, loved it
"I think it's terrible & disgusting how everyone has treated Lance Armstrong, especially after what he achieved, winning seven Tour de France races while on drugs. When I was on drugs I couldn't even find my bike "
