Blind Gossip Blind Item - Time For The Beardy Girlfriend
This cute and talented under-40 actor was one of the stars of a happy TV show that was popular among young adults.
He will never score the lead in some macho, action-adventure flick, but he has a well-established fan base of male and female fans and he works consistently.
He has been pretending forever that he is straight. He’s even had the same beardy girlfriend for years. He keeps taking on gay roles and can’t seem to stop talking about what it’s like to kiss men… but he still works hard to convince interviewers that he’s straight!
I am in the theater community and I have been present at several interviews that he has done. Right after he talks about gay men, or playing gay men, or kissing gay men, he always insists that he is straight.
We all know he’s not. I know who he sleeps with, and it’s not a woman.
Then he always looks around to see if anyone believes him. It must be exhausting.
Time to trot out that beardy girlfriend again!

The Gossip Life Blind Item - The Reboot of the Reboot
You might have noticed the lack of updates on the reboot of this massive franchise.
You're the not the only one.
I hear from a very good source based in LA that the script, as well as the casting, is being reworked for the foreseeable future. Expect some television shows to be raided for actors. Don't expect this movie out of the tomb any time soon.
So, tell me, Gossipers:
What is the movie?

Kardashian Korner
TMZ reports that Kendall Jenner was the victim of theft. Jenner called the cops at 1:15am on Thursday morning to report that $200K in jewelry was missing. On Wednesday night, Jenner threw a house party, and heard an alarm indicating that someone opened a door that they shouldn't have. Jenner decided to ignore the alarm, and later left her home (full of party people) at midnight, and returned just after 1 to discover that a bunch of her shit was missing. She initially reported to police that she had been burgled, but after responding to the call and seeing no signs of forced entry, they reclassified it as a theft (fun fact: theft = invited in, burglary = not invited in).
In other Kardashian news, People reports that Kris Jenner is coming for Blac Chyna in the looming custody war over baby Dream. A source is quoted as follows:
“Rob wants dual custody of their child and Blac Chyna is giving pushback. They are still figuring things out but she will certainly do whatever it takes to have Dream be with her for the majority of the time. Kris [Jenner] is backing Rob up 100 percent and won’t let Chyna get away with anything that’s less than fair. The entire Kardashian family is there for Rob as well and supports him wholeheartedly. They are prepared to protect him in whatever way they need to. I expect things to get ugly. Chyna wants full custody with Rob only getting visitations.”

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Stressed Out By Flowers
This singer is being incredibly disingenuous about both fame and social media.
She is claiming that it is stressful for her to be famous and to have so many social followers. Should we feel sorry for her?
"Hello?! She has her team PAY for social media followers!!! That’s the only reason her numbers are so high. For example, their monthly spend in [month] was [$x] to buy followers on Instagram and [$x] to buy followers on Twitter. They do this ALL. THE. TIME.
She really thinks she’s more famous or has more fans than [singer] or [other singer]? LOL. They just don’t buy [as many] followers as her."
This is like sending yourself flowers everyday… and then saying you are incredibly stressed out by all the flowers you are receiving.
You are free to shut down your social media accounts anytime, Singer!

Selena Gomez Covers Vogue
Selena Gomez is on the cover of Vogue magazine, because she's so fashionable? Anyway, here are some highlights from the accompanying interview:
On Instagram:
“As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out. It had become so consuming to me. It’s what I woke up to and went to sleep to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn’t want to see, like it was putting things in my head that I didn’t want to care about. I always end up feeling like shit when I look at Instagram. Which is why I’m kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit.”
On checking into a psych facility after her last tour:
“Tours are a really lonely place for me. My self-esteem was shot. I was depressed, anxious. I started to have panic attacks right before getting onstage, or right after leaving the stage. Basically I felt I wasn’t good enough, wasn’t capable. I felt I wasn’t giving my fans anything, and they could see it—which, I think, was a complete distortion. I was so used to performing for kids. At concerts I used to make the entire crowd raise up their pinkies and make a pinky promise never to allow anybody to make them feel that they weren’t good enough. Suddenly I have kids smoking and drinking at my shows, people in their 20s, 30s, and I’m looking into their eyes, and I don’t know what to say. I couldn’t say, ‘Everybody, let’s pinky-promise that you’re beautiful!’ It doesn’t work that way, and I know it because I’m dealing with the same shit they’re dealing with. What I wanted to say is that life is so stressful, and I get the desire to just escape it. But I wasn’t figuring my own stuff out, so I felt I had no wisdom to share. And so maybe I thought everybody out there was thinking, This is a waste of time.”
On "rebelling" post-Disney, and deciding to do Spring Breakers:
“For a guy there’s a way to rebel that can work for you. But for a woman, that can backfire. It’s hard not to be a cliché, the child star gone wrong. I did respect my fans and what I had, but I was also figuring out what I was passionate about and how far I was willing to go...My mom wanted me to work with a director who would really push me. I watched Kids, Trash Humpers, Gummo, and I was like, Mom, are you crazy? But it was fun to imagine how you might behave if you were set free of whatever was holding you captive. I’m a late bloomer. I grew up around adults, but in terms of getting out, having friends—at times I really didn’t know anything but my job.”

Sean Penn's Son Was On Meth
Hopper Penn, 23, recently opened up to ES Magazine about growing up in Hollywood and getting sober. Here's what he had to say:
On growing up in Hollywood:
‘Some of the kids that grow up in Los Angeles with that life, they have this impression of themselves, like they’re more important than other people. But they’re not real to me... I don’t feel like I have a Hollywood family, really. I feel pretty normal... I do remember being a little bit scared of Jack Nicholson. He’s kind of crazy. I mean I think it had something to do with the Joker, because I was obsessed with Batman. But it was also intimidating, being young and meeting these people you’re a fan of, that you grew up with. I still get weird feelings when I meet those people.’
On his parents' tumultuous relationship, which ended when he was 14:
‘Honestly? I was pretty mad, because they had split up before and then got back together, and then they did it again. So it was like, “Pick which one you’re gonna do”. I was young and thinking: “Are you just fucking with me and my sister?” I mean it was not the best. It was kind of tough, talking to them. Because they were both pretty broken too, I think.’
On getting hooked on meth while being a rebellious teenager:
‘I was pretty bad. I just got caught a lot doing stuff, you know? Whether it was my parents or the cops. I was doing a lot of stuff, but meth was the main one that brought me down. I went to rehab because I woke up in a hospital and my dad was like, “Rehab? Or bus bench?” I was like, “I’ll take the bed”. Thank God I got out of that because that was the worst time in my life. Because it’s not fun when it gets to a point where you just need it.’
On what's next for him:
‘Well, I wouldn’t call myself an actor, really. Or a model. On the acting side, I’ve told myself when I do four movies, then I can consider myself an actor. And then, the modelling side? I don’t know. I guess now, this campaign, this is maybe a tipping point for modelling…’

Patrick Stewart Advocates for Medical Marijuana
Patrick Stewart recently spoke out in support of medical marijuana. Here's what he had to say, as quoted by The Sun:
“Two years ago, in Los Angeles, I was examined by a doctor and given a note which gave me legal permission to purchase, from a registered outlet, cannabis-based products, which I was advised might help the ortho-arthritis in both my hands. This, it would seem, is a genetically-based condition. My mother had badly distorted and painful hands.
I purchased an ointment, spray and edibles. The ointment, while providing some relief from the discomfort, was too greasy to use during daytime and so I only use it at night. It helps with sleep as the pain was reduced. The spray, however, is much more usable and I spray my fingers and particularly my thumb joints several times a day.
The spray very quickly evaporates and leaves my hands quite dry, though with a slight burning or tingling sensation, which is not unpleasant. I believe that the ointment and spray have significantly reduced the stiffness and pain in my hands. I can make fists, which was not the case before I began this treatment.
I have had no negative side effects from this treatment and the alternative would have been to continue taking NSAID’s, Advil, Aleve and Naproxen, which are known to be harsh on the liver and to cause acid reflux. As a result of this experience, I enthusiastically support the Oxford University Cannabis Research Plan. I believe this programme of research might result in benefits for people like myself as well as millions of others.”

Chris Evans Talks Regrets
Chris Evans is on the cover of April's Esquire magazine. Here are some highlights from the accompanying interview:
On his fear of having regrets:
"Like always kind of wanting to be there as opposed to here. I think I'm worried all of a sudden I'll get old and have regrets, realize that I've not cultivated enough of an appreciation for the now and surrendering to the present moment."
On the challenges of dating:
"There's a certain shared life experience that is tough for someone else who's not in this industry to kind of wrap their head around. Letting someone go to work with someone for three months and they won't see them. It really, it certainly puts the relationship to the test."
On the bonds of family:
"In my own life, I have a deep connection with my family and the value of those bonds. I've always loved stories about people who put their families before themselves. It's such a noble endeavor. You can't choose your family, as opposed to friends. Especially in L.A. You really get to see how friendships are put to the test; it stirs everyone's egos. But if something goes south with a friend, you have the option to say we're not friends anymore. Your family—that's your family. Trying to make that system work and trying to make it not just functional but actually enjoyable is a really challenging endeavor, and that's certainly how it is with my family."
On actors expressing their political views:
"Look, I'm in a business where you've got to sell tickets. But, my God, I would not be able to look at myself in the mirror if I felt strongly about something and didn't speak up. I think it's about how you speak up. We're allowed to disagree. If I state my case and people don't want to go see my movies as a result, I'm okay with that."
On reading The Surrender Experiment:
"It's about the basic notion that we are only in a good mood when things are going our way. The truth is, life is going to unfold as it's going to unfold regardless of your input. If you are an active participant in that awareness, life kind of washes over you, good or bad. You kind of become Teflon a little bit to the struggles that we self-inflict.
Our conscious minds are very spread out. We worry about the past. We worry about the future. We label. And all of that stuff just makes us very separate. What I'm trying to do is just quiet it down. Put that brain down from time to time and hope those periods of quiet and stillness get longer. When you do that, what rises from the mist is a kind of surrendering. You're more connected as opposed to being separate. A lot of the questions about destiny or fate or purpose or any of that stuff—it's not like you get answers. You just realize you didn't need the questions."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Costars and Paramours
This film actress was recently caught up in a rumor about the identity of the father of her child.
Our foreign-born actress insists that it is her long-time partner. However, there is speculation that the father is actually a very famous American actor with whom she costarred in a film last year.
Adding fuel to that rumor is the fact that five minutes after rumors of their affair started circulating, Actor’s wife filed for divorce.
Well, Actress may not be the only cheater in her household!
We found out that Partner – who is also in the business – has had a “very special friendship” with another woman for more than five years.
Why don’t Actress and Partner just break up? Well, Actress and Partner are a tremendously popular celebrity couple in their country.
They are practically royalty.
Oh… and The Other Woman IS royalty.
Yes, it would be a HUGE scandal if their affair was uncovered!
In the past few years, Partner has spent more time with The Other Woman than he has with Actress. He’s not even very nice to Actress or very supportive of her career.

Hilary Duff Talks Family Planning
Hilary Duff is on the cover of April's Redbook Magazine. Here are some of the highlights from the accompanying interview:
On having more children:
"I've gotten over the fact that I'm not going to have a baby that's close in age with Luca. It sucked when everyone would be like, 'When are you having another?' I'd be like, "Do you know what's happening right now? I'm not having another." You get engaged: 'When's the wedding?' You get married: "When's the baby?" You have a baby: 'When's the next one?' … I'm cherishing the now. Besides, watch: I'll probably get some evil spawn of Hilary the next time around."
On dealing with mom guilt:
"I always feel torn or guilty about something. I'm not working right now, and at first I stressed about that, like, "Oh, I shouldn't stay still this long." And that's ridiculous. I have a child; it's totally fine to not be slammed all the time. It feels really good to not be on someone else's schedule — besides Luca's. I'm basically his chauffeur!"
On co-parenting her son, Luca, with ex-husband Mike Comrie:
"Some of my friends tell me, 'God, it must be so nice, you get a break from your kid because you share him.' I'm divorced, and it sucks. Well, it did suck for a while; now it's just normal. But it's true, I do get a break. I had Luca by myself for a few weeks, no help, when Mike was on the road, and when he got home I was like, 'He's yours! Bye!'"
On the dating scene:
"I never think being single sucks until I go out in L.A. with my girlfriends and the options are terrible. I really attract the old men!"

Leave Richard Simmons Alone
Everyone is still on the lookout for the now-reclusive Richard Simmons, and more and more people in his life are speaking out to defend his right to privacy. His brother Lenny Simmons recently sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight; here's what he had to say:
"I talked to him on Sunday, he was doing great. He was asking about our renovations to our home. And we had just gone to see the Broadway musical, Beautiful. We talk every Sunday. He calls me and we have a great conversation and then he talks to my wife. He probably talks to my wife longer than he talks to me."
On Richard being content to be out of the spotlight:
"After all those years, I don't know how he did it. He was on 24/7, at least. ...People were always calling him and he was always good enough to want to talk to them...My brother certainly deserves his vacation. I certainly cannot fault him for wanting to do that. I would just hope people [can] be a little bit more respectful and realize that he's worked hard and he still loves people -- but he needs some time for himself."

Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher Memorial Details
TMZ reports that the public memorial for Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds will take place on March 25th at Forest Lawn cemetery where the pair are buried. The ceremony will take place in the 1,200 seat theater at the cemetery, and will be attended by Billie Lourd, Gary Fisher and James Blunt, who wrote a tribute song. If that seems random, it's not - Blunt and Fisher were very close, and she was godmother to his daughter. The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles will also perform. If you are not in the Los Angeles area (or are and can't get in), the event will be livestreamed on Carrie and Debbie's website.
And for those that plan on attending, Todd Fisher released the following information: “We will be celebrating their lives with friends, family members, and the people who loved them… you. The service will begin at 1:00 PM and immediately afterwards, those who want to walk to their final resting place are welcome to do so. There are a limited number of seats available, and it will be on a first come, first seated basis. There will be room for overflow in the huge lobby as well as the outside with screens to watch and hear the service.”

Page Six reports that RuPaul, 56, recently revealed on Hollywood Today Live that he and longtime partner Georges have tied the knot. Here's what he had to say:
“I’ve never said this on television before — we are married. This is a scoop, I’ve never said it before. We got married on our 23rd [anniversary]. I met him on the dance floor at Limelight [club in New York] in 1994, on his birthday. So we got married on his birthday, the anniversary of when we met, this year, this year in January...He’s a great guy, but he doesn’t care about show business at all. He couldn’t care less.”

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Dirty Engagement or Dirty Marriage
We were a little surprised to find out that this youngish male actor is married.
We happen to know that three or four months ago he was doing the dirty with a civilian who is definitely not his wife.
Since we don’t know when he got married, we don’t know if that activity was pre-marital or post-marital. Wait a minute. Is it OK to sleep with other people if you are “only” engaged?
Maybe it’s just the horny family genes. Lord knows his famous brother can’t keep it in his pants either!

Anne Hathaway Wants You To Stop Judging Her (And Other Women)
Anne Hathaway is on the cover of April's Elle Magazine. Here are some of the highlights from the accompanying interview:
On her husband, Adam Shulman:
"He changed my ability to be in the world comfortably. I think the accepted narrative now is that we, as women, don't need anybody. But I need my husband. His unique and specific love has changed me."
On the importance of focusing on paid parental leave in the U.S.:
"I can't believe we don't already have it...When [my son] Johnny was a week old and I was holding him and I was in the ninth level of ecstasy, I just all of a sudden thought, 'Mommy guilt is invented nonsense.' We're encouraged to judge each other, but we should be turning our focus to the people and institutions who should be supporting us and currently aren't."
On starring in 'Ocean's Eight' and working with a female-led cast:
"Hollywood is not a place of equality. I don't say that with anger or judgment; it's a statistical fact. And even though I've been in some female-centric films, I've never been in a film like this. It just kind of makes you aware of the ways you sort of unconsciously change yourself to fit certain scenarios. It's not better or worse...or right or wrong, but there are certain things you understand about one another because of experiences you have in common…it's probably easy for men to take that for granted. Just being on a set where I'm the one who possesses that ease is really something. It's a nice alternative narrative."

Singer Ellie Goulding Reveals Struggle With Anxiety
Singer Ellie Goulding recently sat down for an interview with Well + Good, where she revealed that she struggles with anxiety. Here's what she had to say:
"My life completely changed when my career started taking off in 2010. I was thrilled, of course—sharing my music with the world was a dream I’d been working toward for years—but it was a lot all at once. Suddenly, I was living alone in London and everything was happening so fast.
I started having panic attacks, and the scariest part was it could be triggered by anything. I used to cover my face with a pillow whenever I had to walk outside from the car to the studio. My new life as a pop star certainly wasn’t as glamorous as all my friends from home thought. Secretly, I was really struggling physically and emotionally.
I think part of what sparked my panic attacks was not feeling confident enough to believe in myself—I was scared I wasn’t as good of a singer as everyone thought I was. And as the stakes grew, I was afraid of letting everyone, including myself, down.
Last year, I was asked to perform at the Grammys—a massive honor but, as you can imagine, pretty nerve-wracking. In the moments before I walked on that stage, I gave myself a good talking-to. I was annoyed for being paralyzed with nerves every time I was about to perform on television. I told myself that this was exactly where I was supposed to be and if other people believed in me, I had to start believing in myself."

Charlie Hunnam Still Can't Watch 50 Shades
...and not just because it's a shit movie (by the way, there's nothing wrong with shit movies). Charlie Hunnam is interviewed in Elle magazine this month; here's what he had to say about the role that he almost played:
You were cast in Fifty Shades of Grey but backed out because of scheduling conflicts. Have you seen the film?
"I haven't. I developed a friendship with [director Sam Taylor-Johnson], but that was a somewhat traumatic experience for me. I didn't want to open that wound."
Actors often describe sex scenes as awkward. What's the truth?
"I try to be sensitive to the fact that we're doing something intimate, but also keep a clear boundary. Because I'm in a very committed relationship, and I'm also cognizant that it's not my girlfriend's favorite part of my job. It's a delicate balance to strike—to be emotionally open enough to have an experience that feels honest between two people but also maintain that it's just for the film. It's not my favorite thing to do. I'm also a germophobe."
Wait, seriously?
"Yeah. I've been profoundly germophobic since I was a young child. I don't want to kiss anyone but my girlfriend for my whole life."
King Arthur is a story about destiny. Do you believe in fate?
"Yes. I think we can affect our own fates, but there's also a powerful energy that's the universe or God or whatever your unconscious recognizes that helps along your way."

The Hollywood Reporter announces that Ben Affleck recently took to his Facebook page to reveal that he has just completed another stint in rehab (his last stay was in 2001). Here's what he had to say:
"I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step. I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery."
Here's hoping he can get it together this time!

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Alerte Nouveau Couple
What better place to spy a scandalous new celebrity couple than in the romantic city of Paris?
Last week this actor and actress were in Paris, holding hands and strolling along in the 6th arrondissement.
"We walked along with them for almost three blocks in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. They were trying to be incognito. He was wearing a hoodie and she was wearing a cap but I recognized them immediately. He looked a little tense and was trying hard not to be noticed. She looked very happy and content. They were holding hands and being very romantic. They were definitely acting like a couple!"
She is a beautiful actress who has dated at least a half dozen famous men. She dated a ball player for many years and was recently linked to the that slimy actor who is more handy with his mouth than his fidelity.
He is her costar on a very popular Thursday night TV show. The only thing you need to know about his relationship history is that he is MARRIED.
No wonder he was wearing that hoodie and looking tense!
