Life Is Hard for The Hoff

In his ongoing battle to lower his $21K/mo spousal support payments to ex-wife Pamela Bach, TMZ reports that David Hasselhoff says that he only has $4K in cash. Sure, he makes $112K/mo, but he spends $66K. Add on what Pamela gets, and living expenses, and he's left with practically nothing. Hold up; The Hoff spends $66K/mo, and that does not include living expenses?! What the fuck is he spending all that money on?! Spray tans and home perms?! Perhaps the details will be revealed when he and Pamela meet in court at the end of the month.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - The Fucking Lunatic

You would think that a talk show host would be thrilled to have a colorful guest bring a lot of attention to their show with a controversial appearance.

Not in this case!

In fact, this musician’s appearance on a popular talk show created such chaos that multiple people from the show let us know what happened backstage. We’ve combined their observations here.

/;Usually if [Host] is unhappy about something , [Host] just does a closed door meeting with Producers. This time, though, right after the show [Host] walked backstage and started yelling at EVERYONE!

First, [Host] yelled at [Executive Producer] and went off on him about “Whose idea was it to allow that fucking lunatic on the show?!”

Then [Host] yelled at [Other Producers] and said that it was their job to prep the guest in pre-interview and to make it clear that the Q&A was only going to be short answers and humor and that they didn’t want him going off on some rant and that they obviously failed to do that.

[Host] likes to be in control during the interviews and was embarrassed that the whole segment was completely out of control. The yelling went on for a while, with [Host] going on and on about how [Guest] had “hijacked the show” for a “‘psychotic rant” and that letting someone do that was “a professional embarrassment.”

Just a lot of yelling and repeating over and over: “Who let this get out of control? Who let this get out of control?” Then [Host] headed back to their dressing room, yelling all the way down the hall, “I don’t ever want to see that fucker or anyone from that entire fucking family on my show ever again!” I don’t know if it will hold for his whole family, but the staff promised that [Guest] will NEVER be on the show again."

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Won't Be Getting Support

According to many Hollywood figures, Donald Trump has an unbelievable amount of silent support within Tinsel Town but here is one person he won’t be getting support. She’s A-list and a big time New Yorker. She went on a few dates with Trump in the city back in the 90s and was pretty disgusted by him. I expect this to surface soon. You would never put the two of them together.

Who is she?

Oscar Isaac Talks Movie Stardom

Star Wars actor Oscar Isaac is on the cover of this month's issue of Rolling Stone. Here's what he had to say:

"I'm an actor, not a star. I don't really know what you mean when you say 'star,' 'movie star,' that stuff."

On being called "The Internet's Boyfriend":
"The Internet never struck me as being into monogamous relationships. It's very promiscuous, the Internet."

On his X-Men costume:
"I would do some acting, and then go to my tent and try to breathe and not freak out that sweat was pouring into my ears and I couldn't touch them. It was rough. But the challenge of basically doing Kabuki theater in a film was crazy...I was really into the character. I'm not a huge comic-book-movie fan. I like them and I appreciate them, but it's started to feel a little bit repetitive. I did really like Deadpool, and the last X-Men."

On stereotypes in Hollywood:
"They define you – 'Latino actor, we'll just bring him in for Spanish commercials.' I'm interested in telling stories about the human experience that are not necessarily just about my personal circumstances. So how do I navigate that? I feel like I've been able to."

On Donald Trump:
"The problem is it's less about the guy that's saying it, and more that he's being the mouthpiece for a large part of the population. Because that's me, that's my family. We're immigrants. What could be positive about it is that Trump could help to rally a lot of disparate parts of Latin America together. Because Latino is not a race – it's a culture. There's Chinese Latinos, there's very white Latinos, there's very dark Latinos, there's black Latinos. There's all sorts of variants – it's not one thing."

The Hollywood Reporter's Actress Roundtable

The Hollywood Reporter recently gathered Jennifer Lopez, Kerry Washington, Julianna Margulies, Sarah Paulson, Kirsten Dunst, Regina King, and Constance Zimmer for an actress roundtable interview. Here are some of the highlights:

As actresses, what have been the most overtly sexist things you've experienced in your careers?
KERRY WASHINGTON
"I'm in this very surreal environment right now having Shonda Rhimes as my boss, where it's almost the opposite. It is specified in scripts that guys take their shirts off all the time."

JULIANNA MARGULIES
"Is it really?"

WASHINGTON
"The guys are naked all the time! And she has said to all the women on the show: "You want to do a love scene in a parka? You just let me know." So it's this weird, like, reparations moment where the girls get to do what they want to do and the guys get to do what they want to do, but they know what Shonda wants them to do."

CONSTANCE ZIMMER
"On UnREAL, we have two female leads, female showrunners and writers, and it's very driven toward us being empowered, which is definitely different. We can treat the men a bit like how we may have been treated earlier in our careers or just as women in general. It's fun to watch the tables be turned and to see the guys on set eating lettuce. (Laughter.)"

SARAH PAULSON "
I've never been asked to play the [romantic] leading lady without having to be a blonde."

Are you naturally a brunette?
PAULSON
"Yes. I don't mind it, I like the blond — but to be told that in order to be considered a romantic lady opposite some hunky guy, I need to have long blond hair that looked very L.A. Real Housewives? It does do something to your brain. You go, "Gosh, so the way I came into the world is not as appealing as it would be if I were altered in some way?" That's a funny message to extend to a person. And that's the other thing: I did it. I put the extensions in, I blonded it up."

MARGULIES
"Well, you've got to pay your rent! (Laughs.)"

JENNIFER LOPEZ
"I've always been fascinated by how much more well-behaved we have to be than men."

In what way?
LOPEZ
"I got a moniker of being "the diva," which I never felt I deserved — which I don't deserve — because I've always been a hard worker, on time, doing what I'm supposed to do, and getting that label because you reach a certain amount of success …"

PAULSON
"And you care about something enough to give your opinion."

LOPEZ
"Or even sometimes I felt crippled to voice my opinion, especially because certain directors and the boys' club that they form can make you feel like, "Oh, I can't say anything." I was always fascinated by how I could see [a man] being late or being belligerent to a crew and it being totally acceptable; meanwhile, I'd show up 15 minutes late and be berated. And you watch this happen over and over and over again. Like, we're not allowed to have certain opinions or even be passionate about something, or they'll be like, "God, she's really difficult." It's like, "Am I? Am I difficult because I care?"

Catching Up with Zac Efron

Zac Efron recently sat down for an interview with Elle Magazine. Here's what he had to say:

TELL ME ABOUT A TIME YOU REALIZED YOUR PARENTS WERE HUMAN.
"My parents love me in very different ways. But they checked every box. My dad always taught me to be driven. I was always the shortest kid at school. Always the worst kid on the team. I'd come home after practice and my dad would build a basketball hoop. Then we'd go out and shoot 100 free throws. Pretty soon every time I got fouled I would make my free throws."

HOW HAS BEING SOBER CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
"What I found is structure. That led me to a balance of opposites: You get out of life what you put in. There was a moment when my morning routine was, like, Get up and Google yourself. But that stopped, dramatically and instantly, probably three years ago. I realized that viewing yourself through other people's pictures is not living your own life. I wasn't really being myself. A lot of my hobbies had gone out the window. I couldn't skateboard or surf for fear of being followed. Crossing the line of fear is what leads to greatness."

WHEN DID YOU CROSS THAT LINE?
"I was in Hawaii recently, and I went shark diving with some researchers. I came face to face with a shark. I could either turn and try to beat the shark to the boat, or I could look it in the eyes and let it know I'm present and I'm not afraid. It went right past me, and I put my hand out and I actually rode the shark for 10 or 15 seconds."

WAIT, WHAT?
"After that it came back and it swam under my legs and I just kind of touched it from the nose all the way to the tail. The researchers said that's a sign of respect. It goes back to that Bruce Lee quote, 'Be like water…If you pour water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.'"

Variety Blind Item - The Directors

Chloe Sevigny recently spoke at Variety's Cannes Film Festival panel about three male directors. She is quoted as follows:

“I’ve had the ‘what are you doing after this?’ conversation. I’ve also had the ‘do you want to go shopping and try on some clothes and, like, I can buy you something in the dressing room’ [conversation]. Just like crossing the line weirdness.”

“[One director said] ‘You should show your body off more. You shouldn’t wait until you’re as old as this certain actress who had just been naked in a film, you should be naked on screen now.' [ told him] If you know my career, I’ve been naked in every movie.”

“If you’re young and impressionable and really want the part, it might be a tempting avenue, but I hope not...I would consider it Hollywood. Was it sexual harassment? It’s such a fine line.”

“When women on set become a little emotional, or impassioned even, they’re labeled as hysterical or crazy and have a hard time getting hired again. The double standard of the man being the wild, crazy, mad director is so embraced. We have to allow women to act out… and just be ourselves."

Chloe Sevigny Talks Cannes Fashion

The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with Chloe Sevigny in Cannes. Here's what she had to say:

What did you pack?
"I’m wearing a lot of my own Chanel, and a few Cinderella dresses that I borrowed. I have a lot of my own Chanel, things like my vintage suspenders. It’s my own Chanel stuff that I hope they’ll approve of. I hope they’re not like, 'Oh, my god, she’s rocking Chanel every day and she looks like a crazy person.'"

Were you looking for something special for your Cinderella dresses?
"Yes, definitely especially for the Palais, because it’s such a thing. I’m really into white right now. I think it’s such a strong color and so beautiful. So, I’ve got a lot of white or cream looks."

Do you have any tips for what to wear in Cannes?
"The weather’s tricky in Cannes, and you’re walking a lot. You have to find something that you feel comfortable in — that's rule No. 1. And remember to dry your hair before you go to a press call. Once I showed up to a press call with wet hair. That was such a young-person move."

Do you have something you love to indulge in when you go to Cannes?
"Rosé! A little rosé and a crepe on the go. It’s not so good for those Chanel dresses, though (laughs)."

Do you have any other funny memories from previous Cannes visits?
"I remember the first year, I lost my luggage. I was here with [producers] Chris and Roberta Hanley and they were staying at Hotel du Cap. I had to borrow some of her clothes for a photoshoot at a pet cemetery on the grounds, and I was in some weird Gucci bikini. "

Tom Hanks Talks Diabetes

Tom Hanks recently sat down for an interview with Radio Times, where he talked about being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2013. He is quoted as follows:

"I'm part of the lazy American generation that has blindly kept dancing through the party and now finds ourselves with a malady. I was heavy. You've seen me in movies. You know what I looked like. I was a total idiot. I thought I could avoid it by removing the buns from my cheeseburgers. Well, it takes a little bit more than that. My doctor says if I can hit a target weight, I will not have Type 2 diabetes anymore."

On avoiding partying in Hollywood:
"I'm lucky. I was in charge of offspring at a very early age, so I didn't have the luxury of being able to get stoned a lot, and I never drank too much. I was never what I call a shitfaced artist. I thought it was more fun to be seeing what was going on. I did my share, but it didn't become a habit."

Kate Hudson Talks Changing Moods

Kate Hudson is on the cover of this month's Shape Magazine. Here's what she had to say:

"When I exercise, I need to connect to myself and see how I'm feeling at the moment, because my mood is constantly changing. Some people need structure and a regimen, but I'm not a planner."

Her Body Breakthrough
"I was 19 when I discovered Pilates, and I'm still doing it. It's the workout my body really responds to. It's all about alignment, elongating your spine, and strengthening your core. It makes me feel my strongest. Pilates is always challenging. The advanced moves are amazing, but so hard. I also love TRX because it's similar to Pilates in that you use your own body weight. But for me, Pilates is the best."

Outdoors Wins, No Matter What
"I'm a nature girl. I grew up in Colorado and was always outside. I still am, even when I'm in the city. If I'm in Amsterdam, I get on a bike, ride everywhere, and really see the place. I love that freedom, which you can't get in a car. In New York City, if I'm staying downtown and have a meeting uptown, I'll put on my earphones, listen to great music, and just walk. There is nothing better than walking in Manhattan."

When She Can't Get to the Gym
"There are a couple of workout apps that I use, like QE2, a full-body routine created by my Pilates teacher, Nicole Stuart. It keeps me in tip-top shape. Then there's Hot5, which I love because each workout is only five minutes long. When I'm in a hotel room and feeling jet-lagged, I can do one or two and it really gets me going. I also like Sworkit. You can do it anywhere, even in the smallest space, and break a good sweat in just 15 to 20 minutes."

The Aggression Workouts
"Sometimes I just need to do aggressive routines, like boxing. I also recently tried a popular new workout in L.A. by Taryn Toomey, called the Class, and I loved it. It's kind of hard to describe—it's like an intense boot camp combined with cardio and yoga. It's also a spiritual experience in which you get rid of old toxic energy. It's very cool but definitely for people who are really into pushing themselves hard."

#LoveMyShape
"I love my shape because I work really hard at it. I honor my body by working out and seeing what it can do."

Celebrity Real Estate - Black Sabbath Edition

Black Sabbath founding member Geezer Butler has listed his Beverly Hills home for sale for $3.225 million. The 3,710 square foot home features five bedrooms, four full bathrooms plus one additional shitter, saltwater pool, and mature citrus trees. See pictures of the property at The Hollywood Reporter.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - His Picking Process

This man is one of the most esteemed actors in the world. He has starred in dozens of films, many of them classics. Yes, he is an Oscar winner. He is also a big advocate of the film industry in general. That’s why we were surprised to hear the following:

"You would think that he would be really picky about which films he does now to ensure his legacy. Not even close. I overheard him talking to [redacted]. He said he didn’t get paid much for his best role, and that he got paid a ton for his worst role. Now he doesn’t really care about the story or the role. He just wants to know how much he is going to get paid! Sometimes he asks who’s directing. That’s it. Then he accepts or rejects. He sounded serious. To be honest, I was a little shocked."

Kristen Stewart Talks Ghosts

After getting booed at the press screening in Cannes for her new film for director Oliver Assayas, Kristen Stewart sat down for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Here's what she had to say:

On ghosts:
"Do I believe in ghosts? I don't know, I guess I believe in something. I'm really sensitive to energies, and I truly believe I'm driven by something that I can't really define. It gives me a feeling that we are not so alone."

On whether she prefers Ghosts or Vampires:
"Ghosts."

On Personal Shopper:
"It's a ghost story, sure, but the supernatural aspects of it just lead you to very basic questions."

On director Olivier Assayas:
"We don't talk to each other a whole lot. He never answers my questions. There is a communication that is undeniable. There is a flame he lights under my ass that is stronger than I have ever felt."

On technology:
"I've been thinking about distractions a lot lately. I'm absolutely guilty of constant stimuli that [aren't] actually stimulating at all. It definitely says a lot about how we interact with each other and technology. And it's truly terrifying."

Director Oliver Assayas also talked about getting booed:
"It happens to me once in a while, where people just don't get the ending. For me, it's the closest I can get to a happy ending. I'm sorry I can t get much further. When you come to Cannes, you have to be prepared for everything."

XO Jane Blind Item - An Oscar Winner Bullied Me So Badly That I Quit the Film Industry

George hoisted me up on top of a plastic picnic table in the middle of the front office and began dry-humping me. He pinned me in place as the table legs scooted back against the wall with his bodily force. The front doors opened, letting the fall chill my exposed skin.

He was laughing. They were all laughing.

I thought there were only five people in the front lobby — a few producers, the production manager, the director, maybe a driver from transportation, a production assistant or two. I remember people saying to me later, when we were alone — not in front of anyone who could fire us — "I can't believe he did that! If we worked anywhere else, he'd be fired."

"Yeah," I said. I thought the same thing.

But none of us did anything about it.

What could I do? I was pretty low on the food chain. And my bosses all saw it. All guffawed. Enjoyed the show. I wasn't a person. I was an expendable.

I gave up my home to be part of this movie crew; moved all my belongings into storage and was living in a Motel 8 off an Omaha highway with a great view of the parking lot — everything a girl dreams of when she works her way up in the film business.

I wish that was the only time George humiliated me in front of people. But it wasn't. He took pleasure in making jokes at my expense, asking me if I wanted to act in the porn the characters in the movie watch, telling me I was stupid.

Cameron Diaz Talks Marriage After 40

Cameron Diaz recently sat down for an interview with Harper's Bazaar. Here's what she had to say:

What's something new you've tried after 40 that you never thought you would?
"I got married last year. That was the biggest thing I've done in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways. It's pretty awesome. I didn't think it was something I'd do, and I don't know if I'd have done it if I hadn't met my husband [Benji Madden]. It was a surprise."

Do you believe in "dressing your age"?
"I do, actually. But everybody's age is different, and by that I mean that even when you're a certain age, it's all a matter of how you present yourself, how old your spirit is, and where you are in your life. Some 50-year-olds are still 35. It's about expression and what they can pull off."

What's something you refuse to wear at 43 (or ever)?
"I'm definitely not doing tube tops. No way."

What is the biggest realization you've had about yourself after turning 40?
"That as you get older, your body changes in so many little ways. It doesn't react the same way that it used to. I don't get the results that I used to as easily as I once did. Now I look at myself and I realize, 'Oh, right. I'm in this time now in my life where I have to be thoughtful. If I slack off, things don't come back so easily. I have to be committed.' In part that's what my new book, The Longevity Book, is about. But just like everybody else, I'm more and less disciplined at various times based on what's going on in my life."

What's your mantra?
"I'm not supposed to share my mantra. Just kidding—meditation joke. 'Do the best you can.'"

Olivia Munn Wants You To Know How Totes Easy It Is For Her To Lose Weight

Olivia Munn is on the cover of this month's Women's Health magazine. Here's what she had to say:

"My intention was to just get as fit and as healthy as I could be, for myself. By the time I was finished [filming], I was 12 pounds less than I started!...It’s a big difference because I started working out every single day, and then I also started getting into eating 20-80, where 80 percent of your diet is fruits and vegetables and 20 percent is whatever.

...I think...when you’re in the public eye, [scrutiny] does come with it. People want to say things... My girlfriend, she said to me the other day, ‘If people are wondering why you look younger, it’s better than them asking why do you look older.’

...A lot of times, people want to hoard their secrets to themselves. But whenever I learn things now...I want to tell anyone who wants to listen about them, because I don’t think guys are the only ones who should be able to look better as they age.”

Vincent Gallo Sues Facebook

Vincent Gallo is suing Facebook for not taking down a fake Vincent Gallo page. The Fake Gallo, or "Fallo," started friend requesting real Vincent Gallo's real friends, and even started messaging with his real ex-girlfriend. The lawsuit reads as follows:

"The two had Facebook messenger conversations for a period of two months, where Doe 1 flirted, sent nude pictures from the waist down, and convinced her not only to send nude pictures back, but to travel from Europe to the United States to visit him. Once she solidified her plans to visit him, Doe 1 (the Fake Account proprietor) backed down and gave an excuse that he would be out of town during her planned visit. At this time, she sensed something was wrong and discovered, to her horror and embarrassment, that Doe 1 was in fact, not Mr. Gallo."

Gallo contacted Facebook to take down the fake page, provided proof of his identity through their reporting system, but the "Fallo" page still remains active.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Gallo has filed the following lawsuits: "false designation of origin under the Lanham Act, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unfair competition and unfair business practices.
