    1. I did! The kettlemen are crazy peeps. Singing camp songs in a tent with $1m+ in a bag. I don't have any idea about Mike. I like him though!

    2. ***BSC/BrBa SPOILERS***
@auntliddy- Mike was definitely up to no good long before this. Recall that even as a Philly cop, he put a gun to the head of that wife beater, as Mike lamented about not taking "full measures." He was ready to kill that guy. We also don't know why Philly PD gave him the boot but that it was less than amicable. Mike's cop stories are the greatest. Working at the courthouse allows Mike the legitimacy of hiding in plain sight while still giving him inside connections to both cops and criminals. I should go rewatch the Mike interrogation in BrBa to see if they mentioned how long he had been working for Gus.

      MY THOUGHTS:
*The grounding vs client prison visit highlights that imprisonment can carry multiple meanings. It also shows the shift in dynamics between the brothers. So far, my guess is that Chuck is a paranoid schizophrenic.
*Here's Johnny! I can't wait to learn about the sunroof incident. Good thing he's in Illinois/New Mexico, as he would probably fail the character test to practice law in CA or NY
*I was wondering wtf Saul was making a sploof for! LOL. Those are usually built by college kids to minimize marijuana odor as they smoke. Sex Robot it is!
*Saul hasn't started using hankies on the phone handles yet (as he always did in BrBa); I wonder when/why he started that measure.
*Looks like last week gave Saul some confidence...Screw you geezer! Oooh that scowl!
      *Meat piƱata FTW
*So funny Saul asked for an edible arrangement last night, as Han made the same request just hours earlier on 2 Broke Girls!
      *"Nobody wants to leave home."
*Now the Kettleman's will have to hire Saul, but hopefully they can all sing Kumbaya and toast some s'mores first! Saul will say that hiring him is the only way to keep him from testifying, as per attorney client privilege. Of course that's not really true but we know they are no "masterminds." Let's see how our boy weasels/extorts his way out of this one!

    3. Lady and AuntLiddy, "Saul" (aka Bob Odenkirk) sends his regards to his fans at Anarchy Gossip! Got a hig hug and had a few minutes to chat. He seems in awe of his success and is still the same sweet, nice guy he was when he was starting out -- does dress better, though.

    4. Not gonna look as we're on the BCS train (luv my TIVO) but haven't watched yet. Can't wait!!!

    5. @ladyheisenberg I watched 4.5 seasons of brba. I was so tired of the whiney wife character that I just couldn't anymore. Do I need to watch the last 5 episodes? I was a little lost in the show's intro: cinnabun store but I just rolled with it.

    8. @Divingirl-
Technically, BCS was written so that you do not NEED to have seen BrBa, but there are tons of Easter Eggs.
Some scenes will make more sense if you saw the finale, and you've already gone so far in...
So you know what I would advise!

Also, Anna Gunn wrote a NY Times article addressing the fact that she has been one of the most despised TV characters of all time.

    9. @Lady and Auntliddy, thanks. The only blinds about Bob would be of the kindness variety. :-)

    10. I absolutely LOVED the whole part with Mike. Loved when he pushed the button to get out of the garage. And I knew he changed his mind because he believed him that they were hiding, and I loved that he knew he believed him! So far, the parts with Mike are my favorite.

    12. Lady- your insights are da bomb!!! I never understood the hate of skylar; indeed i was surprised to hear of it. Her character was fine, i didnt notice her being so annoying. As for the transfer from character to actor, thats just nuts. Anyhoo, for what its worth, i thought she was great. One of my fav scenes was her dressing up and acting like bimbo at tax audit. And remember all the research she did for the car wash? Male or female, i love characters who can think their way out of any situation.

  2. What does it mean when Dave Chappelle is the most stable one of that group?

    1. That the end is near. Keep watch for 4 strange men on horses.
I'm actually concerned about Justin. He has the Culkin look.

  3. I'm starting to wonder what the point to downton abbey is. It would be more exciting if they killed off lady mary and not the poor dog Isis.

    1. I used to enjoy her, but now she is so boring. Literally everyone on the show has more going for them than Mary does.

      Delete
    2. Haha. I kinda wanted them to just shoot Edith and put her out of her misery, but then the events turned in her favor. Mary does Mary well. One minute she's having sex with the tall guy then she doesn't want him. Very liberated. Now She's just bitchy and not having sex.

  4. Parks and Recreation! Today is the first time that I am remembering the show has been moved to Tuesdays. So sad that the end is near.

  5. @Dolphy, I am not loving the end of P&R. It seems very forced and the clear phones/iPads is just weird. :( I will so miss Ben & Leslie & the Dwyers. And Ron, of course.

Question: I haven't caught up on Scandal or Revenge since the holiday break. Are they worth going back to?

    ReplyDelete

    1. @7, I agree. I'm not very fond of the current P&R in the future episodes either, but I still adore all of the characters on the show. The Treat Yo Self 2017 episode was a total letdown and I live for Treat Yo Self. The interaction btw Donna Jerry/Gerry/Larry/Terry was particularly lovely last week tho.

Re: Scandal and Revenge, I'm not watching either show, but they are on my Netflix queues for future binge viewing :)

    2. Both shows have changed a bit. Revenge is now more about Margaux's revenge against Emily rather than Emily vs Victoria. If someone wanted to drop the show this would be a good time to do it. The original storyline has come to a conclusion.
As for Scandal its completely insane. The first episode after the break is nuts I had no idea what was going on. Watch that episode and if you're bored or don't care to see more no need to keep watching. I can't look away.

    3. So glad I dropped Revenge right before the dad thing. Also stopped with Blacklist after the Season 1 finale's non-reveal.

    4. I have a mad crush on Amy Poehler and an MPA, so P&R is a fave. But it's been drifting for awhile.

Murder is still fun. Never got in to SCANDAL. Revenge seemed one dimensional.... THE SLAP, I'm looking at u as the next one dimensional meh.

  6. I'm glad Leeza won Celebrity Apprentice. She never lost her cool and managed some very unmanageable people. I loved how Kenya threw her own people under the bus over Vivica's stolen phone. What a bitch. I wonder why Captain Sig and Shawn didn't make the finale show?

    1. I love, love, love that Leeza won! She deserved it! She really kept her composure and stayed classy and elegant through out :)

    2. I missed the 2nd half - had to read bedtime stories to my little man! I hoped it would be on demand, but not this morning anyhow! Was moved to tears by both Leeza & Tony Orlando talking about the charities that were in the running for the big prize! So happy Leeza was the final winner! Class act all the way!

  7. I totally missed BCS last night. The time got away from me and I forgot to program..Damn!!

Total OT: Over at Foxella this: This famous chef is constantly on TV, appearing on multiple shows in which he has starred or guested, including several reality competition shows.
He’s not just cooking up delicious food. He’s cooking up a delicious secret.
He is married with child/ren. He is also gay.
He is very happy with his new boyfriend (non-famous), who is handsome and approximately the same age as our chef.
    Yes, his wife knows.

Two guess there as Anthony Bourdain and Guy Fieri...NOT my Anthony..NO way!

    1. Haven't our friends the gays suffered enough? Guy Fieri is club sandwich made entirely of turns. Please, not Guy.

    2. First thing I thought was it's supposed to be Gordon Ramsay, but no way he is gay. Bourdain? I honestly doubt it but I could see how they could work the details in. Kitchen Confidential is an awesome book, BTW. :)

Guy Fieri, I'll say yes just because he's annoying.

      Delete
    3. I'm thinking it's Guy also considering all the other rumors that have swirled around him.

      Delete
    4. Totally agree that is cannot be Bourdain. I really like him, he just seems real and not full of shit. I love how he dresses too.

    5. I think it's Rocco DeSpirito Or whatever his name is....And the name of the Blind was Can you smell what the Rock is cooking....Rocco?

  8. Please don't be Bobby Flay. I love both him and Stephanie March.

    2. Guy is married with kids, so then it must eliminate him then too

    3. January Jones I meant. But the blind mentions this chef has kid(s).
