The couple don't have any children together, but they have three dogs: Toast, Muppet, and Underpants. Sturino will get custody of all three dogs. Ostrovsky said, "“I have visitation rights for the dogs, and we intend to be friends, which sounds impossible and progressive and European, but we’ll give it a shot!”

Carrie Fisher Has Best Final Resting Place Ever
The joint funeral for Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds was held at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Cemetery. Reynolds was buried. Fisher had opted for cremation, so some of her ashes were buried next to her mother, and some went home in a giant Prozac pill. Here's what Fisher's brother Todd had to say of the makeshift urn, as quoted by Entertainment Tonight:
"Carrie's favorite possession was a giant Prozac pill that she bought many years ago. A big pill. She loved it, and it was in her house, and Billie and I felt it was where she'd want to be. We couldn't find anything appropriate. Carrie would like that. It was her favorite thing, and so that's how you do it. And so they're together, and they will be together here and in heaven, and we're OK with that."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Golden Globe Line of Sight
This Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards are a bit unique in that it’s like a large dinner party. Unlike the Oscars or the Emmys, attendees don’t sit in theater-like seating. They sit at large banquet tables, eat dinner, and drink during the ceremony.
Both of these actors are nominated for Golden Globe Awards. One doesn’t like the other. When he heard that the other might be seated at the table next to his, he asked his team to move the other actor.
It’s actually a complicated request, because actors are seated in teams associated with their film or TV show. Therefore, the entire table of people would have to be moved.
His team suggested that they get seated back-to-back so he wouldn’t have the other actor in his line of sight… but that means that they would then be inches apart instead of feet apart!
We don’t know what the end result will be. However, you probably want to know why he wants the other actor moved, don’t you? Here you go:
"[The Other Actor] once fucked his wife."
It’s unclear if that little event took place took place before or after our actor married her.

The Gossip Life Blind Item - One Last Bomb
The marriage may be over, but the drama certainly isn't.
This actress wants to drop one last media bombshell on her soon to be ex-husband. 'She hopes it'll disgrace him and damage his career,' confides Betty. 'She thinks he's getting off way too lightly.'
I, for one, am looking forward to whatever the vindictive bitch has in store.

Prince Harry Goes to Africa
Prince Harry appears in February's Town & Country Magazine, where he talks about Africa and participating in an effort to save elephants. Here are some of the highlights:
"I completely fell in love with (conservation organization) African Parks, because they get things done. They make tough decisions, and they stick to principles. I don't go on safari. I come [to Africa] so I can surround myself with people [working in conservation] and support them...I love spending time with these guys. Night after night, chewing the fat around the fire, about the pros and cons of the legalization of rhino horn, or the historic migratory paths of elephants, or the population explosion on the African continent. And also conservation back home, which is hugely important."
On whether or not he's afraid around the elephants in the wild:
"I've done this a few times before. Also, I'm fatalistic. If something is going to happen to you, it will happen. And I have such a respect for wild animals that it's a privilege to be around them. Plus, the army taught me teamwork...People don't realize how amazing elephants are."
On what drew him to Africa:
"I first came in 1997, straight after my mum died. My dad told my brother and me to pack our bags—we were going to Africa to get away from it all. My brother and I were brought up outdoors. We appreciate the countryside; we appreciate nature and everything about it. But it became more…This is where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world. I wish I could spend more time in Africa. I have this intense sense of complete relaxation and normality here. To not get recognized, to lose myself in the bush with what I would call the most down-to-earth people on the planet, people [dedicated to conservation] with no ulterior motives, no agendas, who would sacrifice everything for the betterment of nature… I talk to them about their jobs, about what they do. And I learn so much...I go home and bang the drum. So that we can all try to make a difference."
On preservation:
"These are very special places, but they are islands with a sea of people around them. I do worry. I think everyone should worry. We need to look after them, because otherwise our children will not have a chance to see what we have seen. This is God's test: If we can't save some animals in a wilderness area, what else can't we do?"
Tamara Tattles Blind Item - Mattress Money
This reality show participant, let’s call her Jezebel, would like for you to think that she has a lot of revenue streams. I am not one that believes that is true. Though she is qualified for a variety of employment, you never actually see her working any of the jobs she claims. For the past several years she has lived a very conservative lifestyle while her colleagues led lives of excess.
In the past nine months, Jezebel’s spending habits have changed. She has purchased a new residence that has many tongues wagging. Her previous home is not being publicly marketed. Then on Christmas Day, her car was towed away from her residence only to be replaced recently with a brand new Mercedes Crossover.
This new extravagance has many folks wondering, has she struck it rich? Or is she simply rewarding herself with some of her mattress money? Story developing…

Detoxing With Goop
Ah, it's that time of year that Gwyneth Paltrow announces her annual detox. Here are her tips this year, as reprinted by E! News:
1. "Drink water with fresh-squeezed lemon first thing every morning. Counterintuitively, the lemon decreases acidity in the body, which has major benefits for overall health as well as skin."
2. "Even a single session in an infrared sauna will help clear toxins, decrease inflammation, soothe muscles and increase your overall energy. If you can afford one, it's definitely worth the investment; if not, find a gym or a spa that's got one."
3. "Colonics are especially beneficial during a detox when the intestinal villi are busy pulling toxins out of your blood stream and into your intestines to be disposed of. You'll feel lighter and much more energetic, and the process of healing your gut for optimum metabolism will have already begun."
4. "Take baths as often as you can during a detox; ideally do a nice hot one every night. Supercharge it with essential oils and botanical extracts like the ginger, orange and thyme in Jane's brilliant Detox Bath Cube (with which I'm obsessed)."
5. "The glow you get from going clean is undeniable; increase it with a super-thorough exfoliation. For body, start with dry brushing all over, then follow with a detox oil like the one from Organic Pharmacy. For face, there's nothing better than a product that just takes it all off—goop's Instant Facial is made with all five alpha-hydroxy acids plus salicylic acid, so there is no more efficient skin-smoother and glowifier on this earth!"

Hilary Duff Grows Up
Hilary Duff is on the cover of February's Cosmopolitan Magazine. Here's what she has to say:
On turning 30: “I think I’m a pretty confident person. I’ve had a career for a long time, but I’ve put a lot of unnecessary pressure on myself as a woman, a businessperson, an actress. I’m like, ‘Am I doing enough?’ Everyone I’ve talked to says you come into your own in your 30s. You feel more secure. I’m looking forward to that.”
On her relationship with ex-husband Mike Comrie: "Mike’s amazing … We’re so ingrained in each other’s lives. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to coparent with. We are really good friends and care a lot about each other.”
On dating: “I’ve never been a good dater. I meet, like, one person a year that I’m maybe attracted to … I never want to be that girl who’s desperate to find a mate.”

Hayden Panettiere is Feeling Better
Hayden Panettiere recently appeared on Good Morning America, where she gave an update on her wellbeing after struggling with postpartum depression last year. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by E! News:
"It takes you a while and you feel off. You don't feel like yourself...Women are so resilient, and that's the incredible thing about them. I think I'm all the stronger for it. I think I'm a better mom because of it because you never take that connection for granted."
And on resuming filming for Nashville, which now airs on CMT:
"I'm feeling great. I'm so glad to be back playing Juliette. Everything she's been through has been like a hazard sign in the road. She made me stronger. I feel like she's a phoenix. She crashes and burns and then she rises from the ashes and she always takes the lesson and becomes stronger for it. So we have that in common I think."
On playing a character who struggled with postpartum depression:
"It absolutely helped me. I think it helped me identify what was going on. And to let women know that it's OK to ask for help and it's OK to have a moment of weakness. It doesn't make you a bad person, doesn't make you a bad mother. It makes you a very strong, resilient woman. You've just got to let it make you stronger."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Couple Will Do Anything For Cash
A few years ago, this couple was on the cover of practically every magazine. They even had one of those cute couple nicknames. Then came the crazy spending sprees and the plastic surgery… and their fifteen minutes of fame was up.
Well, they’re trying to make a comeback! They will be going overseas to do it. They successfully negotiated a fat paycheck for a TV gig that will require them to start some fake drama. We hear it’s not a minute too soon.
"Good thing they booked it. They had less than $5k left. Even though it looks like they own some expensive stuff (jewelry and designer bags) they could sell, it is all fake. They told the producers that they will do ANYTHING asked of them (get in fights, film naked, pretend to cheat with another one of the cast, fake divorce discussions, etc.) for the right paycheck. It’s going to be wild!"

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Unconventional Casting
It's not unheard of for actors and actresses to land some of their most famous roles in unconventional ways. Naomi Watts, for example, earned her most famous role in Mullholland Drive when David Lynch saw her headshot and liked what he saw. Larry Hagman won the part of J.R. Ewing when producers of Dallas saw him in an old movie and liked a certain mannerism of his that fit their vision of the ruthless character.
This eternally A-list actress sunk to unusual levels when she flashed the truly A-list director at the end of a read. It took him aback and was completely out of character for the actress and the role, but she was cast by the day's end.

Chris Pratt Cooks
Chris Pratt is on the cover of this month's Vanity Fair. Here's what he had to say:
On cooking for the interviewer with mea from Whole Foods:
“I could tell you this is the boar I shot, and who would know, but, dude, I’m not gonna lie. This is not that boar, but this boar stands for that boar.”
On what he likes to cook:
“I can make three things. Meat. Omelets. Fajitas. This here I’m making is a wild-boar taco. I got the recipe from my brother-in-law, because that guy knows everything.”
On his high school football days:
“I was a great football player. Don’t say I said that. But, dude, I was a great football player. I was a fullback and an inside linebacker. I never had the speed to play college. But I loved it. I don’t think anything will ever take its place. The competition, the team. You get a little bit of that in acting. You get it with action films. You have to train, be in shape. I think I learned more about how to handle myself as an actor playing sports than I ever did in theater.”
On his big brother, known as Cully:
“He was hands down the best big brother anyone could ask for, super-supportive and always helped me, and loved me, and took care of me. We spent our entire childhood, eight hours a day, wrestling. One Christmas, he was in a play, a musical, and sang, and it knocked everyone’s socks off. My mom was crying. And I was like, ‘That’s what I want to do.’ ”
On whether or not his father, who died in 2014, got to enjoy Pratt's success:
“Some of it. He watched a lot of TV in his final years. That’s pretty much all he did, just sat in front of a TV. So, yeah, I think it made him proud, and it was cool that I got to find some way to connect with him, because he was a hard man to connect with.”
On the event that changed his life when he was 19:
“I was sitting outside a grocery store—we’d convinced someone to go in and buy us beer. This is Maui. And a guy named Henry came up and recognized something in me that needed to be saved. He asked what I was doing that night, and I was honest. I said, ‘My friend’s inside buying me alcohol.’ ‘You going to go party?’ he asked. ‘Yeah.’ ‘Drink and do drugs? Meet girls, fornication?’ I was like, ‘I hope so.’ I was charmed by this guy, don’t know why. He was an Asian dude, maybe Hawaiian, in his 40s. It should’ve made me nervous but didn’t. I said, ‘Why are you asking?’ He said, ‘Jesus told me to talk to you . . .’ At that moment I was like, I think I have to go with this guy. He took me to church. Over the next few days I surprised my friends by declaring that I was going to change my life.”
On his look when he first came to Hollywood:
“I looked exactly like Heath Ledger. I had long blond hair, still bleached out, Hawaiian . . . That’s what people were always saying: Man, you look just like Heath Ledger. Then I saw Heath Ledger on the cover of Vanity Fair, and I thought, Hey, I do look just like that guy.”
On getting Guardians of the Galaxy:
“Guardians had come around, and I passed. James Gunn [the director] passed on me, too. When they announced it, I looked it up and saw a list of the top 20 dudes in Hollywood who might play Peter Quill. I was not on that list. I did not want to go in and embarrass myself. My agent said, ‘Guardians is everything you’ve been saying you want to do.’ I said, ‘Fuck, you’re right.’ But I’m going to go in there and do exactly what I mean by action comedy. My brand of stuff. Brash. Honest. I played the room. Jim Gunn, the way he tells it is like this: ‘Who do we have next? Chris Pratt? What the fuck? I said we weren’t going to audition the chubby guy from Parks and Rec.’ ‘Well, he’s already here.’ They’d tested probably 10 people, spent a lot of money, and James wasn’t convinced on anyone yet. When I finished [my scene], he said, ‘Do you have any questions?’ I was like, ‘Are you fuckin’ crazy? Tell me everything.’ I gave him my Peter Quill version of an answer. Once you get smart about auditioning, you learn to audition before they say ‘Action.’ You walk into the room as the character. You let them think the person you are is close to the character they want. You make them think you already are that guy. Gunn was like, ‘Damn, this is it.’ ”

January Jones Doesn't Need a Man
January Jones recently sat down for an interview with Red Magazine, where she opened up about being a single parent. Here's what she had to say:
On being surrounded by strong women:
“Maybe I should get a manny soon. But Xander has a lot of bro time with the neighbour dads and my dad, who is super young. It’s good to have strong women around a man. To teach him to respect women. He doesn’t have a male person in his life saying ‘don’t cry’ or ‘you throw like a girl’. All those shitty things dads accidentally do."
On dating:
“People want to set me up all the time and I’m like, ‘No way.’ If I meet someone and we go out, then fine, but I’m not going to go look…” (She makes a puke noise and grins.) "Something else would suffer if a relationship came along. Yes, I’m willing to make that sacrifice for the right relationship – I just don’t feel I need a partner. Do I want one? Maybe. But I don’t feel unhappy or lonely. It would have to be someone so amazing that I would want to make room. Someone who would contribute to my happiness and not take away from it. I realise I have very high expectations and will probably have to compromise – but my life is so full. It’s not like, ‘Aww, I wish I had a man.’ After I had Xander, I went on a couple of dates and I was like, ‘I’d rather be at home sleeping, or watching TV or hanging out with my kid.’”
On relocating to Topanga Canyon from Silverlake:
“It’s like in a Spielberg movie. The adults have more drinks and the kids are dirtier… but it’s safe. Photographers don’t follow us up there, so Xander has a pretty normal life now.”
On her daily life:
“I love to cook a soup on Sundays for football. Have the neighbours over – the kids play. [Weekdays] it’s just me and a nanny. No one lives in the house with us. I go to work, always leave at 5pm, come home, let the nanny go and then I’m mum. I put Xander to bed. Watch two hours of reality TV, then go to bed myself. It’s escapism. The Bachelor, Bachelorette, The Housewives of Whatever – all of them.”

Tommy Mottola's Advice to Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey's ex-husband and the former head of Sony Music Tommy Mottola sent in a letter to Page Six full of advice for Mariah Carey. Here's what he had to say:
“MC is arguably the greatest pop voice to come along in the last three decades. She has had more number one hits than any pop artist in history!!! She is a global icon and a treasure with incredible talent not only as a singer but as a great songwriter. What happened on NYE could’ve happened to anyone! Yes, her technical people should’ve helped pay more attention to all of it so that there was no chance of that happening.
My only advice is that she should hire more seasoned and respected professionals to surround her and help her with her career! I would never have encouraged her or guided her to do something like a reality television show!!!!! I don’t get it!! That does absolutely nothing for her integrity, her credibility, or her massive talent!! She should take a step back, think carefully and figure out what to do next. That is what she does best.. most certainly none of these issues or problems ever existed with her in her early days at Sony for the first 10 years when she skyrocketed to global superstardom!! Where absolutely meticulous and methodical attention was paid to every single detail and nuance that went on into her career!”
Mariah Carey's manager Stella Bulochnikov's response to Page Six: “Really? Tommy is a relic. Did he give you that statement from a rotary phone?”
Priceless.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Skin and Talent
This talented multi-hyphenate actress has starred in more than one popular network TV series. While she doesn’t like it when people criticize her looks or talent, she used to be only too happy to make fun of other starlets in her age group!
She used to make fun of those girls who were running around showing skin and trying to get attention. She said, “If you actually have talent, you don’t have to take your clothes off.”
This is interesting, because lately she seems to be posting more and more photos of herself in various states of undress!
Does she not consider herself talented anymore? Has she changed her mind? Or is she just screaming for attention?

What possession of your partner's (or a good friend or family member) would you like to throw away?
The Gossip Life Blind Item - Erasing Years
She burst onto the scene as a hot young starlet with an even hotter nude scene(s). It was that hot nudity that caused people to take notice and soon saw her career fly into a stratospheric rise with many executives eager to sign the future star to their big movies for big numbers.
Would you believe us if we told you that she's actually 5 years older than she claims to be?
No one calls her out on it, because no one really knows and those who do have been paid off or dismissed.
She is absolutely A-list.
So, tell me, Gossipers:

Allison Williams Looks Past Girls
Allison Williams is on the cover of Glamour's February issue along with her Girls costars, where she ponders her future after the final season of Girls airs beginning February 12th on HBO. Here's what she had to say:
Williams on how much longer she would like to play Marnie on Girls...
"As long as they'll have me. I would never ever get sick of playing her, because there is no sense of 'Oh, I've done that already.' It's all new—new scenarios, new feelings."
Williams on when she'll start a family of her own...
"I have a lot of questions: How do I get to a place in my career where I can go be a mom for a little while, and then come back and be a mom and an actress at the same time?...Every time I find a woman in film, an actress who has kids, I, like a sociopath, corner her and ask, 'How did it work?' Everyone says, 'Don't think so much.' Jemima [Kirke], from Girls, is always saying, 'Just get pregnant! Just have a baby.' And I'm like, 'You are so much cooler than I am.' I love what I do, but I have no doubt that when I start my family, that's life. This is my job, but that's life."
Williams on her goals for the future...
"I have vague EGOT [Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony] goals. Who doesn't? I have zero of those so far, so I have a lot of work to do."
Williams on public scrutiny...
"[B]eing analyzed about my weight drives me crazy. It's easier to say, 'Oh, she must be anorexic and depriving herself,' than it is to say, 'She might have a fast metabolism.' I deprive myself nothing. But that's an annoying thing to say, right?"

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Golden Globe Goof
This actress will definitely be at the Golden Globe Awards this Sunday night. Good for her! We hope to see her on stage.
However, she has a problem. She doesn’t have a dress to wear. Uh oh!
She had a dress. It was custom made and very form fitting. There was no room for error or weight gain or breathing.
Well, she didn’t gain any weight, but something did go wrong in the final fitting… and it’s now at least an entire size too small! There is no way to let it out. They have to start all over.
Can you make an entire custom dress – including final fittings – in four days? Don’t know. She might just have to buy something off-the-rack like the rest of us mere mortals!

Reddit Shoe Diaries
The other day, someone asked Redditors to submit Celebrity NSFW Encounter stories. Read through the full thread here; there are some funny ones, some scandalous ones, and some random ones (there is even a Bryan Singer one buried in there somewhere). My personal favorite was from a gentleman who stated, "A guy walked by me at the airport as I sat waiting to board, and kid you not farted mere inches from my face. I looked up, it was Bon Jovi." To which someone replied, "SHOT BY A FART / AND YOU'RE TO BLAME / YOU HIT ME / WITH METHANE."

Country Star Sam Hunt is Engaged
E! News reports that Grammy nominee Sam Hunt, 32, proposed to on-and-off girlfriend Hannah Lee Fowler over the holidays. The couple try to stay out of the limelight, although Hunt's newest song is about their relationship: "I'm sorry I named the album Montevallo. I'm sorry people know your name now, and strangers hit you up on social media. I know you want your privacy and you got nothing to say to me, but I wish you'd let me pay off your student loans with these songs you gave me. Every dream I ever had was you. Hope you know I'm still in love. It's the kind you can't fall out of. Hannah Lee, I'm on my way to you. Nobody can love you like I do. I don't know what I'm gonna say to you, but I know there ain't no way, I know there ain't no way, no there ain't no way we're through."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Dumb and Classless
When reality stars commit to a show, it is their JOB to share their personal lives and their drama on camera. If they won’t share their personal lives, they get fired. If they can’t bring the drama, they get fired.
The contract for this TV show contract does allow for the negotiation of story line exceptions (e.g. if the drama involves a cast member’s child). However, in general, major story lines are expected to be used for the benefit of the show and the network.
This reality star was not bringing the story lines or the drama, and was on the verge of being fired. Then, when she finally did get a story line of her own, she did something incredibly foolish. She sold the pinnacle of the story it to an outside party for a small pile of cash.
That was dumb (and classless). Time for her to count that pile of money she just got… and start looking for a new job! She’s done.

The Gossip Life Blind Item - Working Agreement
Whilst you were all drinking and eating and having a good time, I was getting my bitch on to the nth degree... whilst simultaneously drinking and eating and having a good time.
Yes, I was up to some good old fashioned networking over the holidays and I happened to obtain some of the details of a working agreement between this A-lister and a few media outlets.
In return for continued coverage of their ambitious offspring, the A-lister can be featured in articles, photos and interviews etc. as long as the focal point is on the offspring and not them.
'We can use [name omitted] to reel people in,' confides my source, 'but any articles need to be about the kid.'
So, tell me, Gossipers:

Eva Amurri Martino Opens Up About Son's Scary Accident
Eva Amurri Martino recently shared the following story on her blog. Here is an excerpt:
"Today is a new year. A new start. Fresh beginnings. I am inspired in the name of that optimism to share something with my readership today: I’m not doing well. In fact, I’m really struggling. I’ve been extremely overwhelmed recently, in a lot of different ways. I think it’s time to share that with all of you in the hopes that speaking my truth will allow me to move forward– and also in the hopes that anybody else who is trying to hold it all together with similarly emotional results will know it’s ok to let go– to accept help, forgive themselves, and to move towards a solution.
...A couple of days after Thanksgiving, our Night Nurse fell asleep while holding Major and dropped him, and he cracked his head on the hardwood floor. Kyle and I were sleeping at the time and were awoken by the sound of his head hitting the floor, and then hysterical piercing screams. He suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on his brain, and was transported by ambulance to Yale Medical Center where I spent two harrowing days with him to receive emergency care and further testing. To say these were the most traumatic and anxious two days of my life is an understatement. If you read my post about choosing Homebirth, you know that I have an (irrational) phobia of Hospitals. To be in one for two days under such circumstances was nearly unbearable for me, not to mention how scary and emotional those days were for the entirety of our family.
But here’s the good part: by the grace of all of his many angels, and every God one cares to pray to, MAJOR IS FINE. Completely fine. Though he had the fracture, some skull displacement, and bleeding, the skull did not touch his brain and the bleeding was localized. Further MRI’s showed no brain damage and we were discharged by experts in pediatrics and neurology with as excellent of a prognosis as we could have ever hoped for. We were absolutely, divinely lucky that day. He had no other broken bones, and no spinal effects whatsoever. He has been healing well, hitting milestones, cooing, smiling, and generally showing us that he is and will be ok as he grows and develops."

Tamara Tattles Blind Item - Rocky Relationship
The rumor mill has been swirling for months about the relationship of this reality show participant. One minute they are shopping for a new home together, the next they are at each others throats, so the streets say. Let’s call her Nanny.
Nanny has a history of tumultuous relationships that should scare off the majority of suitors. And yet, her current beau is deeply enamored with her. He feels as though he knows her inside and out. What he seems to take issue with is her constants publicity seeking behavior. Nanny has problems maintaining any sort of line between her personal life and her public one. She tries. But her efforts are inconsistent.
On paper, Nanny should be incredibly happy. She has done quite well for herself in every possible arena except her relationships, which are consistently volatile.
Currently, the couple is on again. They spent some of the holiday on a brief vacation. However, the word on the street is the relationship has a limited shelf life and a nearing its expiration date. They are at the makeup and breakup stage where both sides keep hoping for a happily ever after. It may well work itself out. But I would bet against this one.
