Bjork is a beautiful singer and from one of my favorite places in the world (Iceland). This is a performance piece that will be part of MoMA's permanent collection, I believe.
Art is so subjective, you can't tell someone else what to see, but for me, I see it as her expressing how art flows out of the body - when it goes in (your mind), it's art, a vision, when it leaves (the expression), it feels like waste sometimes. Another interpretation might be that she's giving birth to her art (the MoMA installation is both visual and audio), thus how it flows out like a "pulsating wound".
Now back to the shallow places, she looks a beautiful 49.
