Warren Frost Has Passed Away
Actor Warren Frost, who appeared in the original Twin Peaks and will also appear in Showtime's reboot, has passed away at the age of 91 after a lengthy illness. His son Mark Frost, who co-created the Showtime Twin Peaks reboot, released the following statement: “From the Normandy shores on D-Day to his 50-year career on stage and screen, he remained the same humble guy from Vermont who taught us that a life devoted to telling the right kind of truths can make a real difference in the lives of others. We’re grateful to have shared him with the world for as long as we did.” Frost is survived by his wife of 68 years Virginia, children Mark, Scott, and Lindsay, and three grandchildren. Lisa Marie Presley's Children in Protective Custody
TMZ reports that Lisa Marie Presley's 8-year-old twin daughters are in protective custody after she found some stuff on her estranged husband's computer, over which she called the cops. Yes, I'm being intentionally vague because I try to stay away from this stuff here, but this story is so big that it's being reported everywhere. The full details are at TMZ.
Also worth noting - Lisa Marie Presley is apparently broke and living with daughter Riley Keough at the moment.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - More Than Fifty
In case you are wondering who her new song is about, wonder no more!
No big shock here. It’s her ex-boyfriend! You know, the singer she had an off-and-on relationship with for years.
Why now? She always knew that he had cheated on her, but she just recently found out that it was much worse than she thought.
"She thought that he had cheated on her only a couple of times. LOL. [A friend of his] let her know that it was more like fifty times."
If you don’t think that fifty is a high number for a pop star, consider for a moment that he doesn’t like to “wrap it up” during sex. Yes, that’s the part that supposedly really got to her.

Nicole Kidman Makes a Revelation
Nicole Kidman recently sat down for an interview with Net-a-Porter's The Edit in anticipation of her new series Big Little Lies, which premieres on HBO on Sunday. Here are some of the highlights:
On her Parrot dress from the Golden Globes:
“I have no problem being divisive. My eight-year-old [Sunday Rose] said, ‘You’re wearing that?’ My six-year-old [Faith Margaret] was like, ‘What’s on your shoulder?!’ My mum
called me the day after [the Golden Globes] and said, “What were you wearing? You need to cover up more.”
On criticism:
“I’m not a fan of ‘Worst Dressed’ things because I don’t believe in crucifying people for their individual [taste]. It just seems nasty and misogynistic, so that needs to go away. I have worked with directors who are divisive, so I’m used to [criticism], and as my husband says, ‘You don’t want to have a thick skin; that’s not a compliment.’ Oh well, sticks and stones can break your bones, but names will never hurt you, right?”
On her career choices:
“I’m dedicated to being the chameleon. Since I was little I
was taught that when you are an actress you change the way you look and talk and move so that you create the character. That’s what I love doing; small role, big role, it doesn’t matter.”
On husband Keith Urban not liking to see her suffering from her roles:
“He doesn’t like it, but he’s an artist so he understands. And people have to live it so I should be able to act it, you know? That’s how I always see those things. The loss of a child, so many people in this world are going through that – the least I can do is act it with the deepest, most real truth I can find, and give that to them as a way of reaching out. Compassion, if that makes sense. It’s my way of connecting.”
And on an engagement that she managed to keep quiet:
“Well, I knew (Big Little Lies co-star) Zoë [Kravitz] because I was engaged to her father. It’s all in the family! I love Lenny; he’s a great guy.”

The Gossip Life Blind Item - United Women
I love what I was just told.
These A list actresses have decided that instead of complaining about sexism in Hollywood in interviews and tweets that they're going to band together and proactively work on making a difference.
They're planning to start a production company that promotes females of all ages, ethnicity and sizes in movie and television projects.
They don't want to be too preachy and think they're already walking a line between sanctimonious and empowering, but they're doing a pretty good job so far.
So, tell me, Gossipers:

Emma Watson Talks Stockholm Syndrome
Emma Watson recently sat down for an interview with Entertainment Weekly in anticipation of the release of her new movie Beauty and the Beast. Here's what she had to say:
"It's something I really grappled with at the beginning: the Stockholm-syndrome question. That's where a prisoner will take on the characteristics of and fall in love with the captor. Belle actively argues and disagrees with [Beast] constantly. She has none of the characteristics of someone with Stockholm syndrome because she keeps her independence; she keeps that freedom of thought.
I also think there is a very intentional switch where, in my mind, Belle decides to stay. She's giving him hell. There is no sense of 'I need to kill this guy with kindness.' Or any sense that she deserves this. In fact, she gives as good as she gets. He bangs on the door, she bangs back. There's this defiance that 'You think I'm going to come and eat dinner with you and I'm your prisoner—absolutely not.'"
...I think she can see in Beast that there's someone who has been fundamentally good who has been damaged and who just needs rehabilitating. He is just in need of love, whereas Gaston is someone who has had nothing but love and admiration and easiness, and because he's never suffered, he doesn't have any empathy. He's essentially a narcissist, and it's very difficult to intervene in that. He's about building himself up while pushing others down. With Beast, you can tell he's being unkind because he's unkind to himself."

Susan Sarandon Talks Sexuality
Susan Sarandon recently sat down for an interview with Pride Source, where she talked about her upcoming role on Feud. Here are some highlights from the interview:
You grew up Catholic in Jackson Heights, a neighborhood in the northwestern end of the borough of Queens in New York City. Would you say LGBT people felt like family then too?
"Well, not in my high school; I had 500 in my class. This was ages ago. But sure, in college, of course if you're in a theater department or in any of the arts, that's just part of the landscape, so there wasn't any delineation as I became an adult. It was just natural. And, honestly, the people who I made friends with in my early day in New York in the '70s are still my friends.
I find the guys who don't stick with you are the guys that you've had affairs with or marriages... or whatever! (Laughs) It's very rare that those guys - once you're not involved in a relationship, it's hard to maintain those ties. So, really, my friends I've had forever and ever and ever are gay men and women."
That makes sense, unless you're having affairs with gay men.
"Well, I did at one point have a very successful and very loving and wonderful affair with a man who then wasn't with another woman after me, and that worked out fine! I don't think you had to declare yourself as rigidly as you do now in terms of having to declare yourself almost politically about your sexual preference."
Just to clarify - you were in a romantic relationship with another actor who was gay?
"Yeah. Philip Sayer (who also starred in "The Hunger") - he was a wonderful actor. He passed away, but yes, he was gay, and we had a great relationship in every way."
Is your sexuality more or less rigid these days? Basically, should we be welcoming you to the family?
"(Laughs) Well, I'm a serial monogamist, so I haven't really had a large dating career. I married Chris Sarandon when I was 20, and that went on for quite a while - each of my relationships have. I haven't exactly been in the midst of a lot of offers of any kind. I'm still not! I don't know what's going on! (Laughs) But I think back in the '60s it just was much more open."
Are you open regarding your sexuality?
"Yeah, I'm open. My sexual orientation is up for grabs, I guess you could say. (Laughs)"

Page Six Blind Item - Assistant to the Famous Actress
Prospective gofers should give up dreams of sharing in their employers’ rich perks, according to one woman who used to assist a famous actress. She recalled how “my boyfriend dumped me because he got sick of the fact [that] I always had to drop everything for her.” Having displayed such loyalty, “I naively believed that, given the amount of amazing stuff my boss got sent, she’d spread the love a little.
“She would send me to gifting suites to collect all the swag on offer . . . I was in charge of organizing storage units full of candles, pens, body creams and things that she never had any intention of using.” The final straw was when the millionaire actress instructed her to sell some of the designer freebies on eBay.
“She wanted me to list the shoes and clothes via my personal account, and I was told to pay her in cash when the auctions ended,” she said. “When I pointed out that some of the shoes were actually my size, she told me I could make her a ‘reasonable offer’ to buy them.
“I’d worked so many 80-hour weeks, survived on 4 hours’ sleep a night, cleaned up after her incontinent dog. But this was the wake-up call I needed to leave.”

You Can't Call Ed Sheeran On His Cell Phone
...because he doesn't have one. Ed Sheeran recently appeared on Ellen, where he reveals that he ditched his cell phone over a year ago. Here's what he had to say, as reprinted by Page Six:

London was amazing.’ I was like, ‘Did you go anywhere else?’ And they’re like, ‘No, but London was amazing.’ I found that I’ve done that in every country that I’ve been to. Blind Gossip Blind Item - Break Up And Reconciliation
These two young actors first paired up when they did a movie together. Yes, it was a real relationship. Neither of them is known to do the fake dating thing. They genuinely loved each other and were building an amazing life together.
When they broke up, they were both very sad about it. However, nobody knows exactly why they broke up, and there were none of the usual social media battles on the web or publicist wars in the tabloids to provide any clues.
We want to be able to solve this soon… so let’s just say that the reason they broke up is because he had a significant problem that impacted his health and their relationship.
At first he refused to admit that he had a problem, but eventually he got help and is supposedly better now. That is why they are communicating again.
We don’t know if it will lead to a full reconciliation… but they are talking about it. In fact, they are even discussing the possibility of attending the Oscars together!

Drew Barrymore Talks On-Set Accident
Drew Barrymore recently revealed that she "almost died" making her Netflix show Santa Clarita Diet. In rehearsals, she fell off an actor's back and smacked her skull on concrete. Here's what the show had to say to Us Weekly:
Creator Victor Fresco: "[The actor] was a wide guy and Drew didn’t get a great grip. Then he held onto her legs as she slipped off, and so she just pivoted down all the way and just hit her head. I thought, 'That's it. We've killed Drew Barrymore.'"
Drew: "It was fucking terrifying. It was very serious. I've never had a feeling like that in my life...Coming back, it was scary. Everyone was really tense...I love that this group of people, who aren't family necessarily, are coming together and care about my well-being. It was a nice moment where you see the good in people."

Kate Upton Made the Cover of Sports Illustrated
I guess those threats worked! E! News reports that Kate Upton has made the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for the third time. Here's what she had to say of the honor:
"It means so much to set an example in body image even though through my life I have to figure it out for myself and I think that something that's very important for me to tell young girls is, 'You know, you don't have to aim to be like me but aim to be like yourself because what makes us different is what makes us, us.'"

Singer Thomas Rhett is Going to Be a Father Twice Over
People reports that country singer Thomas Rhett, 26, and wife Lauren Akins, 27, are expecting their first child together - and adopting a baby at the same time! The couple had started the process of adopting a baby from Africa when they discovered that Lauren was pregnant. The couple first met in kindergarten, and have been married for four years.
Lauren said of the news, “We tried to get pregnant for a little bit before. It was a good chunk of time and our family is extremely fertile, so I was expecting it to happen easily. I was like, ‘Maybe this is the Lord’s way of telling me adoption is what he wants me to do.’ And I was okay with that. It’s funny to me how we tried so hard and then we didn’t try at all and it happened! We feel like it’s all part of the plan.”

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Big Center Diamond
This pretty actress is expecting a proposal tonight from her boyfriend. At least, that’s what she’s telling her friends!
She said that tonight is IT! She’s said this before but tonight she really means it. I’ve never seen her this sure about it. She is ready. Actually, she’s been ready for over a year. She’s not taking any chances either. She told him exactly what kind of ring she wants. Big center diamond with lots of little diamonds on the side.
We know someone who knows the potential groom, and they say that if he plans on proposing tonight, he hasn’t told his friends about it! He’s a pretty low-key guy, though, so he may just be playing it close to the vest.
Guess we’ll know soon enough!

Page Six Blind Item - Mercurial Musician
Another erstwhile aide was at the mercy of her musician boss’ mercurial temperament.
“He’d call a designer boutique and order the entire season’s collection without even seeing it — he could blow one million dollars in just a few minutes,” she recalled. Then regret would set in.
“He’d wear a few pieces, then send me to the store with everything — even the things he’d worn — to get his money back. It was excruciatingly embarrassing, especially when a sales clerk found a very obvious stain on a $700 shirt.”

Scarlett Johansson Talks (Non) Monogamy
Scarlett Johansson recently sat down for an interview with Playboy (but she kept her clothes on for the pics). Here are some of the highlights:
Interviewer: Every once in a while someone will do you a great service by saying something revelatory to you, about you—and of course you’re like, “Fuck you, you don’t know me.” Then you go home and think about it and you’re like, Oh my God, they’re exactly right.
Scarlett: "I was listening to this TED Talk about relationships, and the person who was giving the talk was saying that in moments when you’re starting a new relationship and your friends and family say, “No, this is a red flag. This person is not for you”—why do we ignore those people who know us so well in the moments that we don’t? And then we distance ourselves from them because we’re embarrassed or whatever. It’s interesting how sometimes all you need is your good friend to tell you that you’re not acting like yourself. Or that they see something in front of you that is not beneficial for you or true to who you actually are. I don’t know. It’s so easy to just go, “No, I don’t want to hear that.”"
Well, love is so deeply intoxicating at first. You’re just out of your mind.
"Of course."
No one can tell you anything.
"And the part of your brain that functions then is a dysfunctional part—it’s not the rational side of your brain. It’s the addictive part of your brain that fires up when you have those first feelings of love, and it’s so good."
You’ve said that you aren’t sure humans are designed to be monogamous.
"Well, with every gain there’s a loss, right? So that’s a loss. You have to choose a path. I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing. I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it’s work. It’s a lot of work. And the fact that it is such work for so many people—for everyone—the fact of that proves that it is not a natural thing. It’s something I have a lot of respect for and have participated in, but I think it definitely goes against some instinct to look beyond."
And of course many marriages don’t work out.
"I think marriage initially involves a lot of people who have nothing to do with your relationship, because it’s a legally binding contract, and that has a weight to it. Being married is different than not being married, and anybody who tells you that it’s the same is lying. It changes things. I have friends who were together for 10 years and then decided to get married, and I’ll ask them on their wedding day or right after if it’s different, and it always is. It is. It’s a beautiful responsibility, but it’s a responsibility."
You were married for the second time in 2014. Did you wake up the next morning and feel different?
"Yeah, definitely. It felt different. I had a really young baby at the time, so that also—our family dynamic was just different. I don’t know. Whatever that is, the thing you can’t fully put words to, it changed. "
And it felt different from your prior marriage too?
"Yeah, of course. I had a baby, and also my husband was coming from another country and becoming a citizen of this country. It was a huge transition for both of us, and certainly for him—moving here, committing to the States. But I think my husband has embraced America, and New York in particular, in this really endearing way. He was making meatballs the other night, actually. I wasn’t home. I was away, and he sent me a picture. He was like, “I’m a real New Yorker, and I love The Sopranos!” I was just, “You go, babe.”"

Alanis Morissette Burglarized
TMZ reports that Alanis Morissette's Brentwood home was burglarized, and the thieves made off with $2 million in jewelry. Alanis was not home at the time; no word as to whether or not anything else was taken. Law enforcement warns celebrities against posting jewelry pictures on Instagram, as it gives thieves an inventory of their belongings. Alanis had previously posted many jewelry pictures on her social media. I bet she won't be doing that anymore!

Page Six Blind Item - Model's Assistant
A former aide to a big-name fashion model told The Post, “I was expected to do everything for [my boss]. She thought nothing of calling me at 3 a.m. — I was given two phones so I would never be unreachable — to ask me to come over and let her dog out to pee.”
But that wasn’t the only task that made it such a “bum” job.
“One day she [sent me] some photos of her hemorrhoids,” the former assistant said. “She wanted me to find a [doctor] to remove them. I’ll never un-see those images.”

E! News reports that Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, 35, is married to Shalom, no last name. She recently took to the Instagram to announce the news:
"January 25, 2017 We walked into a courthouse just to see what type of paperwork is needed for getting married. They sarcastically told us there's a small chapel we could go to and do it right then," she captioned a touching video of the ceremony. "An hour later, we walked out of that chapel as husband & wife. We clearly weren't dressed for it and I couldn't stop laughing from shock... but fuck it... we're not like ordinary people."
...and then a few hours later, she deleted the post. Luckily someone regrammed it. Huh, that doesn't bode well for the marriage.

Blind Gossip Blind Item - Hitting On Men On Set
This married, dark-haired, over-30 actor has been the star of more than one popular TV series. He is so handsome that he is almost pretty.
He has talked before about how the thought of tongue-kissing another man on screen is disgusting. But is that what he really thinks?
There is a gay porn actor (not famous) who occasionally works on other, non-porn sets in a production role. He’s been talking.
He said that he was working on set and [Actor] actor came up and started hitting on him. He started out with, “Damn, you are one good-looking dude!” and they took it from there.
We did find a photo of the two of them palling around, but we don’t have any hard-core evidence of an ongoing intimate relationship (e.g. photos or videos).
Our actor is not going to be happy to learn that the porn star has been talking about him… especially given how hard our actor has worked over the years to squelch those gay rumors!

Playboy Going Naked Again - And Fighting For Freedom
Our long national nightmare is over. Cooper Hefner, the youngest son of Hugh Hefner and ex-wife Kimberley Conrad, has taken over as Playboy's Chief Creative Officer at the ripe old age of 25 and decided to bring nudity back to the magazine after a year of non-naked centerfolds. I was ready to write this up as a fun fluff piece about boobs, but then I actually read Cooper's statement. Here is what he had to say about Playboy's new philosophy. You are going to want to read the whole thing - here is a snippit:
"Sixty-three years ago my dad published the first issue of PLAYBOY with $6,000 he’d begged and borrowed from anyone who would stand still long enough to listen to his new idea for a magazine. Over the years, PLAYBOY evolved into something much larger than he could ever have expected, and the Rabbit became a sort of Rorschach test of people’s attitudes toward sex. Fans and detractors alike debated what the brand stood for and what the logo represented: What you saw in that Rabbit said more about you than about anything else.
...And although I’m picking up the pen where my dad left off with The Playboy Philosophy and he and I have a tremendous amount in common, we also have vast differences of opinion—which I suspect I’ll find as I continue writing these installments to set the record straight on who we are today. But one thing is clear that both my dad and I understand at its simplest form, and that is what Playboy and the United States strive to represent in their greatest forms: freedom.
Many likely assume I jumped into the business because of a fascination with the parties frequently associated with Playboy, the opportunity to drink with interesting people from all walks of life and the gift of enjoying great adventures. Although I’ve been given a front-row seat to many amazing experiences throughout my life, my true interest and passion have always been for what many would label the “boring stuff” but that I see as the most important stuff, namely the brand’s tradition of tenaciously advocating for civil liberties and freedom of expression.
...At this point in history, the most vital intellectual discussion we can have is how to create a society that’s as free as possible without ignoring the social and economic implications of our policy decisions. We need to identify who our allies are at a time when, on the liberal side, a culture of political correctness discourages debate that may hurt people’s feelings and, on the conservative side, politicians seem comfortable jeopardizing the rights of specific groups in the belief that it will “make America great again.”
So let this stand as an introduction and a declaration that, regardless of our sexual orientation or political point of view, what we’re seeing in society has happened before and that we all agree an attack on Muslim Americans, on women’s healthcare rights, on the LGBTQ community or on the First Amendment is in fact an attack on all our rights. And we should be ready to defend those rights at all costs on the intellectual battlefield."

Blind Gossip Blind Item - The Sudden Boyfriend
We told you very recently about the staged relationship between this very famous singer and her actor boyfriend.
Specifically, we told you that the relationship was created for publicity; that she wanted him to show up for her big gig to support her even though they were no longer “dating”; and that he was planning to move on to a new faux relationship soon.
Well, he did show up for the gig. And while he was there he told her about the new faux girlfriend that was planned. (Yes, BG readers knew about this before The Singer did!)
Well, that certainly didn’t turn out the way Singer planned! She was going to use The Actor’s presence at the gig to create buzz that they might be getting back together! Not only did she now have to downgrade his attendance from “possibly getting back together” to “supportive friend”… she was now facing the embarrassment of him moving on to a “serious” relationship before her!
What to do? Immediately recruit a new “boyfriend”!
No time to interview replacements, so a single, age-appropriate man who has a vested interest in her success kindly volunteered. He’s very convenient, there are no contracts required, he won’t create any drama, he makes her look desirable, and she can focus on her work. Fake…. but actually quite perfect!

Bella Hadid Opens Up About Weeknd Breakup
Bella Hadid recently sat down for an interview with Teen Vogue, where she opened up about her breakup from The Weeknd, who has moved on with Selena Gomez. Here's what she had to say:
On growing up with horses:
“I rotated between a few horses that could jump higher or whatever. But Lego was my main, my ride or die. When I had to sell him, it was like a breakup! I was really traumatized. You can ask any equestrian: You develop a crazy, emotional connection with this animal. When you’re riding a horse, they have full control over you, and they can literally kill you in a second, so you build a trust with them.”
On The Weeknd:
“It was my first breakup — or second, next to the horse — and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through. But I’ll always respect him, and I’ll always love him. Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you’ve fought so hard to build.”
