"The subject matter I was dealing with on E!, you know, it was a fun way to get started and kind of have a great time. And then after a while, I just was like, I'm so much smarter than that show was, and I wanted to be doing a show that was smarter than I was."
On departing from E!:
"It's nice to be involved in a show where I do respect their opinions. I respect Netflix. So it's like going out with a guy that you're proud to be seen with."
