Nicholas Brendon Arrested Again

Maybe he should stop attending conventions. Just days after announcing his split from his wife of five months, Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Nicholas Brendon was arrested after a comic book convention for felony grand theft, reports TMZ. The actor was at a Hilton Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, got drunk off his ass, and trashed his hotel room. The damage totaled $450, and he ordered $380 worth of food and booze. When the actor refused to pay the tab, the cops were called. Brendon was last arrested at a comic book convention in October in Idaho for causing a disturbance. Brendon announced that he would be going to rehab at that time.

    People who don't take responsibility for their actions really piss me off, his rep AKA babysitter released this statement:"-- Brendon's rep tells TMZ, "Nicholas is, unfortunately, battling a disease that many of us don't understand. We are working with him to improve upon the situation at hand and look toward the future. He's sorry for his actions and takes what happened last night very seriously. We will take great care to ensure his safety in the future."

    I went to a Buffy convention in Ohio in 2004 I think and Nicholas Brendon was there. The next day he checked himself into rehab. I always wondered what happened that night. Probably something like this. He really does need to stop going to conventions!

      2004 was only a year after Buffy went off the air. Didn't he trash talk SMG at the show's wrap party?

      And yes MinPin he needs to obviously stop drinking and drugging, he has a substance abuse problem. I was just jokingly agreeing with Outtie that he needs to quit conventions. Although honestly these conventions are probably exacerbating his drinking problems. He goes from being a nobody D list actor in LA to being a god amongst mortals at a Buffy convention. He gets all the free booze he wants and spends a day or two having his ego inflated while simultaneously feeling like a washed up has been selling himself for $50 photo ops and $20 autographs. It's a recipe for disaster for an addict.

    I'll never understand the people that truly go nuts when they're drunk. I mean I've acted stupid thinking I was being funny but that crazy shit I don't get. Hope he gets well. He's gonna need to stay away from the "sweet nectar" as MichaelK says.

      Sherry- alcohol affects people very differently, can make them a different person than what they wld normally be. Others can drink and hv no problem.

    Um, $450 means he trashed his hotel room? Ha! Wouldn't the contents of the mini bar cost more than that? What did he do, rip a pillow apart?
