    2. The donut keeper just walked by my desk saying.... "That donut is waiting for you." Damnit. I should have never told him I like chocolate on chocolate donuts,

Hmmm, maybe I need to take a little walk.

    3. You have chocolate donuts covered in chocolate? Oh my god. I'd find maintaining my veganism if i lived in the US.

  3. It's an achy joint inducing cold day here. Icy mix expected here tomorrow. I did a quick run to the grocery store and now I am baking chocolate chip cookies. After last winter I won't complain about this year, but the damp cold isn't my favorite.

On the upside, the house smells like cookies and I am getting ready to start knitting another pair of socks.

Dogsitting her dog and I should be making my calls..Soon, soon...I just wolfed down a Noah's onion bagel w/lox, cream cheese and all the good stuff that goes on it.. Every damn bit including the potato salad and pickle that accompanied it.

  5. You'd think that, not being a fan of sweets*, I'd never have to watch my weight. So untrue. I guess I make up for it in savory treats :(

*I'll admit having a weakness for Coca-Cola, preferably with cane sugar (Mexican or Passover Coke). I'm trying to switch over to Coca-Cola Life which is somewhat less caloric.

  6. After almost a year to the date, I can finally wear my wedding ring again today (pregnancy weight gain). I was so excited about my small victory...then walked into work to find a box of Swiss chocolates from a client on my desk. So far, I've only had one, but this is one of those days I wish I worked in a bigger office so I could share!

  7. I feel you guys on the tempting food :( I'm supposed to be on a two meal replacement shake a day/ grilled chicken and vegetables with no seasoning diet for my ai disease. Do you think I lose any weight? Nope. But heaven forbid I have a breakdown and eat a piece of pizza. Blisters in my mouth and a 5lb gain. Blah.

  8. Mr. Min Pin and I just finished giving 2 of our min pins (Violet and B.B.) and our new Iggie (Cosmo) a shampoo in the kitchen sink. What is it about giving a dog a bath that makes them act like they just shot gunned a can of Red Bull? Violet is running laps around the couch, Cosmo is doing ballet leaps on the bed and B.B. Is camped out on the heating pad. We figured today was a good day for doggie baths because it's 77 degrees out and they won't get a chill. Man I feel bad for you guys back east having to ride out this snow storm. Keep safe all.

  9. My son is home sick and has been sick since Friday. He is on my last nerve, seriously about to rip his head off and have a meltdown, but ya know it's 4:40 now, close enough to 5 pm so maybe some wine will take the edge off!

  10. I am thankful it is Wednesday, and that the next two days of work are easier to get through....or should be. Found out today that a lady in one of my buildings I look after has liver cancer which started in her colon. She's a real sweetie and I am so sad that she may not be with us too much longer.
