Comcast Reminds Everyone Why They Hate Comcast

Lisa Brown recently called Comcast to cancel their cable service. In addition to charging the customer a $60 cancellation fee, the Comcast rep changed the name on all of the bills to Asshole Brown, and despite her best efforts, Comcast refused to change the name on the bill. Consumer Advocate Christopher Elliott was able to resolve the situation with Comcast, and even got a two-year refund from Comcast to Brown. The case is detailed on Elliott's blog, which is fascinating. You can spend hours there (the homepage for the blog is elliott.org).
