I'm binge watching Season 7 of Sons of Anarchy while I'm waiting for House of Cards to come back. I don't really watch a lot of shows when they're scheduled. Netflix and Putlocker have changed me.
I 100% agree about Alyssa! How can one take her seriously in critiquing when she walks out in the most horrendous clothing I have ever seen a pregnant woman wear!!! I swear Issac and Georgina laugh at her every time!

I had no idea Empire was on last night. Got sucked into Blackish marathon (mini). Remember when it was Th with all the good shows? Now it's Wednesday and it's throwing me off dammit!
@Sherry I watched that mini marathon of Blackish, too!! I really like that show! Do you by any chance remember when Anthony was heavier and played that vicious drug dealer on the Shield??
GOML I don't but he was also a "heavy" in some other movie. I can't see him any other way but comedic. I think Blackish is an awesome sitcom that doesn't shy away from race or dumb it down. Anthony and Lawrence Fushburne will be rich from this and deservedly so IMO. That little girl was amazing in her timing with mom in the scene about being a Dr. vs in advertising like dad. #newappreciation
A few days ago I read a comment about Banshee so I asked at work if anyone knows what the fuss about this and someone at work should me the clip on Youtube “nola vs burton (banshee s03e03) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJMHd7-LL1k. I cannot believe this was shown on cable, but I think I’m going to find where I can catch up on this show.
Haven't seen this week's yet, but I LOVE Archer. My God I love his voice. Luckily I don't watch Bob's Burger's because hearing that voice form that cartoon dude is so much different!
Been re-watching season one of Scorpion. I hate the way they break up seasons now. You completely lose continuity, it's no wonder so many shows lose viewers over the holiday break.
I've gotten some great tv recommendations here. Book suggestions would be great as well. Being in & out of hospital means i have heaps of time for reading when my brain is functioning.
Bex : any type! Just finished the two 'fat white vampire' books (due to my love of Ignatius - Confederacy of Dunces is brilliant), ~Z~ : Gone Girl was a great read! astrogirl : i don't have ibooks - can ask the hubby about it (& you're a real sweetie, thank you!)
An author I had recommended before is Dick Francis. He writes mystery type stuff. If you like one of his, you'll love all of them. He has a huge catalog of books so it'll be a long time before you run out of things to read. He just passed away within the last 5 years. His son has started writing in the same vein. His stuff is pretty good too (the dad's stuff is the best).
