Did You Hate Maria Menounos On The Red Carpet? You're Not The Only One

Maria Menounos took over red carpet duties from Giuliana Rancic on Sunday night's SAG Awards. Us Weekly reports that viewers were hate-tweeting Menounos' red carpet performance. If you were one of the ones who was not a fan, then you're not going to like this news: Menounos has signed a deal with E! which includes her own series, a place at the table at Live From E!, and upcoming E! specials, which includes Red Carpets.

    How and why?? She is never getting good reviews and is an idiot. But wait, isn't E! the ones who air the Kardashians too? It's starting to make sense........

    Maybe she'll get better. She seemed really nervous. I like her red carpet style (look) she was just so awkward interviewing. But then again most of the red carpet people are.

    I think Ross Matthews is great. Hasn't Lisa Rinna done it too? I'm loving her on RHBH. Ryan and G are not my favorites, they both annoy me. Like the uncool kids at high school pretending to sit at the cool table.

    I think Giuliana does the red carpet really well. Ditto for Seacrest. I finally caught up on the Golden Globes Fashion Police, and I was cracking up when Kelly Osbourne called out Giuliana on raving about Amal's white gloves while on the red carpet and yet hated on them during Fashion Police. That was funny. Brad was really good. I know Kathy is not Joan but I felt like she she should have prepared more.

    I think it takes a special person to handle the red carpet arrivals. Joan Rivers always had a quick comment and acted like she didn't give a sh*t and that's what made her so great, IMO. Personally, I don't think we need red carpet reporters asking stupid questions. Just let the camera catch everyone coming in and play some upbeat music for background noise. Why did award shows turn into a fashion thing? If I hear "who are you wearing?" one more time, I'm going to scream.

    Kathy has improved in just a couple of weeks, though. I like Brad more than I thought i would but he's a more prominent stylist and, as such, not as brutally honest as George was.

    It sucks that after losing Joan, they fired GK. I'm not much interested in Giuliana's and Kelly's opinions.

    i think gr is more quick witted than people give her credit for she just needs to gain weight she is painfully thin to watch.. mm was dull and flat.. pretty but dull
    mm must have worn her ass and mouth out to get those contracts

    I don't get why she wasn't at the awards. I assumed the vacation story was a cover and E told her to go get some help. But she was on Fashion Police. Did she really blow off the SAG awards? It's not the Oscars but it's one of the big ones during awards season.

    I mean perhaps MM was called in at the last moment and maybe some people need to prep to do red carpet work but it's a lot different than doing tape segments or anchoring. I said it before but GR is good on the red carpet.
