Heidi Montag's Dad Arrested For Child Sex Abuse
Heidi Montag's father Bill Montag (Cowboy Bill, if you remember him from his appearance on The Hills) has been arrested for alleged sexual abuse and incest with a 13-year-old girl, reports TMZ. The abuse allegedly went on for four years, between 1993 and 1998. Those facts rule out both Heidi and her sister Holly, who also appeared on The Hills, as the victim. Sources connected to Speidi believe that Cowboy Bill will be exonerated, and say that the accuser is a stalker of the couple who will do anything to destroy their family.

Ummmm....rule out Heidi and Holly for what? As victims? Co conspirators? Confused by that part.
ReplyDeleteBut yikes!
I think rules out means the girl wasn't the same age as either of the sisters, so she's probably a niece.
ReplyDeleteNever watched and never heard of it, but police don't typically arrest someone on the false pretenses of a stalker. They'd arrest because the person who was being abused - or a relative of that person - reported it. You can call the police on anyone and say he's molesting his daughter, but then there's that pesky thing called an investigation.
Which is not to say that people are indeed falsely accused all the time and innocent people have been convicted and some have been able to prove that over time. If you are really motivated to frame someone you can get away with it at least initially.
DeleteHowever I imagine that given the higher profile of the suspect than average, I have to think they made sure they had corroborating evidence like DNA, other witnesses, admissions of guilt, etc before making an arrest.
That doesn't rule her out, or her sister.
ReplyDeleteNot a chance.
@Bacon, the article says the girl was abused beginning when she was 13 in 1993. In that year, Heidi was 7 and Holly was 10, so neither could be the 13yo girl.
DeleteDid you click on the TMZ link? Dude is super skeevy looking!!
(Oh, and happy belated birthday!)
I think Bacon may be implying that although the person that came forward is not Heidi or her sister, because of the age of the victim in 1993, it doesn't mean that Heidi or her sister didn't experience something too. Where there is smoke there is fire. It might explain some of Heidi's issues.
DeleteThanks 7! <3
DeleteAll Lace got it, that was my meaning. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.
Hope its not true for sake of any victims.

ReplyDeleteBingo!
@Tina, that's really one of the horrors of sexual abuse. A man is almost always presumed guilty and who wants to question a victim of rape? It's a double-edged sword. Of course the other horror is when a defense attorney puts a woman's sex life on the stand as if the fact that she wore a short skirt to a party was an invitation to rape.
ReplyDelete@Bacon, that so does make sense! Women with extreme body issues (how many surgeries did she have? 10?) are often the victims of sexual abuse. So sad. And her husband is a tool.
I had the same thought regarding the amount of plastic surgery Heidi had. None of the other girls on that show had those issues.
ReplyDeleteI knew of her as a big mess of a "celebrity" before I ever saw The Hills. I was surprised how normal she seemed back then.
ReplyDeleteWhile not necessarily indicative of molestation, something bad happened to her. If being with Spencer weren't proof enough of damage, the self-mutilation cinches it.
That's gonna be sad if Speidi tries to spin a tragedy like this to somehow be about them. Disgusting!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Bacon. Don't know about her sister, but Heidi always stuck me as "off". When she was on Celebrity Big Brother a few years ago it appeared she was completely under Spencers control and it was quite sad to watch actually. I really hope her dad didn't do anything to her, but if true, it isn't likely this niece was the only victim.
