  2. Visiting Charlotte, NC and eating an amazing lunch at The King's Kitchen alone. Came here for dinner last night with my boyfriend and it was so amazing that I had to spend my lunch break here, too. It is a non-profit restaurant that gives all its profits to local charities and hires staff who otherwise would not be hired by other places for one reason or another. Highly recommended if anyone is in the area!

    2. Hey, Sherry! It's on W Trade Street, right near N Tryon in Uptown. Our dinner total was about $50 last night and my lunch was $15. All local ingredients and everyone is so nice.

  4. Trying to summon the Christmas spirit, but it isn't happening.

Happy I have Amazon Prime and have until next week to order and receive anything I need by Christmas eve....

    2. Does Amazon Prime get your items shipped faster than the free shipping? I don't mean on paper, I'm asking about your experience? I've toyed with getting it for years.

    3. Make sure the items you order are Amazon Prime eligible and they guarantee 2 day delivery. In fact, I ordered something last Friday and the Post Office delivered it on Sunday afternoon (I was shocked!)

  6. I am currently waiting for a webinar to start and putting off paying bills and ordering gifts for my nieces. But I am getting my hairs did later and trying to decide: Should I keep up with pretending I'm still a redhead or give in to all the grey and do a transition hair color?

    1. Sherry- redhead here too- are u sure u will be gray? Because mine faded to a streaky blonde !!! Everyone thinks i dye it but i dont and they dont believe me, lol. So see what color u end up with!!

  8. Cats. None of us care this year but today we r going to LOOK at Xmas trees and decide if it's worth it. Cats. I have to get one but it might be tiny. I'll just make it more fabulous with decorations. Cats. Then Whole Foods has pretty Xmas things and more shopping. And cats. Anyone want a cat?

I best change my Tude. I should be greatful I'm not a poor feral alone in the cold. (Your work is very sweet!)

    3. Thanks sincerely but I'm not sweet. I got two fixed, am not going to try for the other three bc it's such hard work and I've been neglecting Xmas with my family. I now have one scared cat locked in a bedroom that I'm going to have to get rid of. It's a mess :(
And every time I hear eczema I think of Debbie Downer and the long suffering patron saint of eczema, Saint Kim.

  10. Getting ready to call the cc company since I made a purchase from a BS company. Lesson learned, if it looks to good to be true, it is. The item is probably a fake and I still haven't received it yet even though it allegedly shipped 2 weeks ago. I checked the tracking number and its still in NY, surprise surprise. *rage face*

      That sucks!!!!

(Almost as bad as the contual shipments, and billings, you can't get stopped. I.e. "WEN" hair products)

      Hang in there.

  11. I'm wondering why Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Godbergs) and Andre Braugher (Brooklyn 99) weren't nominated for GG awards. I'll leave the high brow categories to others but these are two of the funniest characters on TV right now. Amazing ensemble casts too but these two stand out.

  12. The min pin tribe decided last night would be an excellent time to go bonkers on the bed thus keeping me & Mr. Min Pin awake 1/2 the night. I've spent a good deal of the day asleep dreaming of zombie attacks.

  14. Frantically doing some covert online Christmas shopping for my husband. We weren't going to do gifts this year, and decided to have a super fancy evening out instead. However, he actually remembered the first night of Hanukkah yesterday (he has been known to get the dates wrong in the past) and got me a really sweet necklace and brought candles for my menorah. Even I didn't realize there were no candles left from last year. So I suppose he deserves a little something for Christmas.

Btw, it's the second night of Hanukkah now. If you have them, don't forget the special Jewish peeps in your life!
