When Flowers Feud: Iggy Azalea vs. Azealia Banks
Page Six reports that Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks are embroiled in a Twitter feud. Azalea accuses of Banks of bringing race into it, and Banks calls Azalea names and says she doesn't deserve a Grammy. Not sure who's winning, but since Iggy Azalea gets more airplay, it looks like she's in the lead.

Murda Bizness has been my jam for a few years now. I don't even care what people think about it. Iggy is awesome.
DeleteBanks is trying her best to get noticed and also feels that Iggy stole her name sorta. I think she stirs up shit to achieve that. But it does seem that music peeps do not like Iggy. Maybe cuz a white girl is getting attention for being a rapper?
ReplyDeleteI just gotta say I think you are right about the motivation and it irks me to no end. No one owns a music genre. Sure rap started in the black community and VH1 has done a very good job of showing that and giving credit where due. But future generation don't work so hard to categorize and label things. People have gotta to take that example.
