Celebrity Real Estate - Robert De Niro Wins For Best Dad

Robert De Niro just splashed out $2.8 million on a West Village penthouse. He has purchased the place for his daughter; De Niro lives in a much pricier pad on the Upper West Side. The penthouse has 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, and a wood-burning fireplace. See pics of the property at Curbed.

    I was never so happy to move out of an apartment and into a house because no more galley kitchen! The kitchen in this apartment looks like a prison cell - cold and grey. For $3 million, the place seems a awfully dull.

      I do too Pip..having your own penthouse apt no matter how dingy the kitchen or small compared to other penthouses, would still be great

    Many of these high end apartments have minuscule kitchens because the owners either eat out or order in. In this one the kitchen looks like an afterthought.
