Celebrity Real Estate - Dick Clark's Flintstone House
Dick Clark's former Malibu home has finally sold for $1,777,777. If that price seems low for Malibu, it's because the home only has one bedroom and two bathrooms. The home was designed by Phillip Jon Brown, and would look right at home in The Flintstones. All of those 7's hold some significance as well; Clark and his late wife Candy were married on 7/7/77. The LA Times has pictures of the property.
pretty neat
ReplyDeleteHow can this be real? Are those views real? This is heaven. It feels like you're living inside those amazing views.
ReplyDeleteKat!! How you feeling?? Everything okay? The views from the house are breathtaking, but the house would have to go!!
DeleteI'm fine thanks Lawn. It's really nothing more than a little annoyance. Not the drop dead pain I always heard about and I want to tell everyone it's apparently not always so miserable. Thank god! Only thing is the antiviral is making me feel out of it and I'm trying very hard to watch what I post so I apologize in advance. Not that everyone reads these boring real estate posts ;)
DeleteGlad you caught it early. Sending good and healing thoughts your way!!!
DeleteThe house is a little kitschy for me, but the views are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI love the real estate posts.
I could live with a little less of them but everyone has different tastes. If I had my way it would be Teen Mom, Lilo, Taylor and Karlie ---all the good stuff 24/7 haha!
DeleteI'd have Old Hollywood at least once a day and no real estate. But it's a good mix here. I like some of the real estate though. So, yeah...ambivalence is my name.
DeleteWhat a hideous view. Just awful.
ReplyDeleteI love the Flintstone house!! But....23 acres and a one bedroom house? Lol
ReplyDeleteI could've told you 7 is a lucky number!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't with the kitchen but to each their own. It has a rubber mask melty feel to it.
There is a house here that looks similar. What you're paying for (and good price you ask me) is acreage. 23 acres in Maibu? That must be one of the larger properties there.
ReplyDeleteHe was a strange man.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see the wine cellar. I wouldn't want to live there but it would be a cool place to visit. I'd have to drive up to the window and have someone give me a slab of ribs, haha.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for the cabinetry (all stone-like) and would probably swap them out for something else, but otherwise I'd enjoy the hell outta that place.
ReplyDeleteYabbadabbadoo!
ReplyDeleteI'd live there - childhood fantasies come true - me & Betty.......
(Fred or Barney would turn me to the ladies - that's why I'd be good with one bedroom).
Thanks a million and please keep up the effective work.
