Jonathan Rhys Meyers Engaged
Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers is engaged to girlfriend Mara Lane, E! reports. The couple have been together since the Spring, and have heated up over the last few months. Here is a picture of the happy couple from Lane's Twitter

ReplyDeleteI just started watching The Tudors on Netflix. Can't really see what the hubbub on this guy is all about. Maybe if I was 17, I'd think he was dreamy, but personally, I can't get past the creepy eyes.

I loved both JRM and Henry in the Tudors. Those are intense eyes not creepy. And Natalie Dormer.
DeleteLoved the Tudors and thought JRM was cute in his younger days. But Henry Cavill was in a league of his own for hotness. And I thought Natalie Dormer made his best wife by far (as Anne B.) Hope you stick with the Tudors, @Karen W. Besides all the lovely looking actors, it still was a really good show.
DeleteMy first thoughts were that they are both tragically thin and she looks a helluva lot happier about this engagement than him. And, yes, where did his luscious lips go?
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought about both of them looking very skinny. Sometimes the good make up and hair takes some attention away from how some celebrities are unhealthily slim.
DeleteAlthough, in fairness, that pic is more to do with an award show than an engagement. I'd say he's mustering up around the same level of excitement.

I read a very heavy biography of Henry the VIII and Natalie was very spot on in how I imagined Anne Boleyn to be: so seductive yet so dislikable. She was perfect in that role. I still have a bit of a jealous/girl crush on her.

ReplyDeleteHis hotness used to outweigh his woodenness as an actor and in Velvet Goldmine, I'd have forgiven him anything, but now he's distinctly meh!
She looks really scary with that head that's twice the size it should be in comparison to that stick figure body. He has that look on his face like he literally just woke up, and has no idea what's going on or where he is. No way I'd marry that guy he's got WAAAY too many demons.
