Jason Kennedy and Lauren Scruggs Are Married
E! News co-host Jason Kennedy, 33, and fashion blogger Lauren Scruggs, 26 are married, E! reports! The couple wed at the Four Seasons Dallas on Friday evening. The bride wore Romona Keveza, and the groom wore Tom Ford. Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr. was the groom's best man; Wilkerson famously presided over Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West. Hawkins Romo, son of Tony Romo and Candice Crawford Romo (sister of Chase Crawford) was the ring bearer. The couple began dating in the summer of 2013. Scruggs rose to notoriety in 2012 when an accident with a plane propeller caused her to lose her left arm and eye.

ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten that she lost her left hand and suffered facial injuries in 2011. She looks lovely in the wedding photos.
She's a brave woman. The kind of traumatic event she was involved in could have easily left her angry, depressed or paralyzed with fear. She seemed to get right back up again and move forward. Good for her and best wishes on her marriage.

DeleteIt really does. I never read a very good explanation of how she could have walked into that moving propeller blade, it sounds like she was fearful of the flight and perhaps distracted. Still, you'd think she would have been able to feel the rush of air and hear the sound of the blade. Just very strange and unfortunate.
DeleteOh THAT fashion blogger. That would be the only thing I know about any fashion blogger. Good for her for being able to not just keep going but it sounds like she's thriving.
ReplyDeleteJason Kennedy admits to being freakish about his make-up for his E shows, and that he freaks out when his neck is not the same shade as his face... I just really want to say that. Lol! But anyway, congrats on their wedding!
ReplyDeleteThere was a recent BI on CDaN around Thanksgiving that didn't make it here. It was about him having his bf at his bachelor party. I was surprised everyone guessed Jason Kennedy, since he's pretty closeted.

DeleteIn his line of work and in today's world why would he actually marry his 'beard' if he was gay??? His career would probably get a lift if he came out. Maybe he is straight.
