Goop Sells Bras For Itty Bitty Titties

Gwyneth Paltrow has decided to start selling bras on her Goop Website, according to the Daily Mail. However, the bras are only available in band sizes 32 and 34, and despite theoretically going all the way up to a DD cup size, are described as "running slightly small." The bras will cost you $80 a pop, and are non-returnable, so you better hope that you lowball your size correctly the first time that you order!

  1. I stay away from the Goop site unless I am feeling down in the dumps and need a quick giggle.

At $80 for a bra and $40 for a pair of briefs, the giggle transformed into a guffaw. I can think of a lot better ways to spend $120.

But as long as Gwynnie is happy, everybody's happy.

  2. At 80 bucks a bra, it should play music, have no slip straps, eliminate back fat rollover, and cure minor illnesses.

    1. And have strap adjusters that stay where you put them. You start off with them an inch or two up and by the end of the day they've moved to the furthest point south, and so have your breasts....

    2. Instead I bet it plays a recording of Goop telling you to eat organic raw foods and spend 1200 on a really good bag...

    3. Can you throw in washing the dishes as well?

  3. Did she come up with this idea before or after she got herself breast implants?

  4. Has she no self awareness? Are there enough people out there that actually like her and have the $ to buy her outrageously priced items? I just can't see how her business stays open.

    1. It's not only her over priced items, it's what she represents. I've never come across someone who's been like "She's someone I can really relate too" and I doubt I ever will.

  5. If anyone is in NYC, I can recommend the bra fitters at Orchard Corset on Orchard Street on the Lower East Side. A middle-aged Hassidic lady checks out your rack and delivers exactly the right bra for you - and depending on your figure, the exact right bra can make you look 10 years younger and 20 pounds lighter. I make a point to stop by whenever I'm in the city.

    1. Oh, I will drop in the next time in NYC. A good bra fitter is hard to come by. I've been to a few lately and they don't know wtf they are doing...

  6. Slipping straps? I thought that only happened to me..I am constantly pulling up my bra straps especially the one on the left that gets snagged by the seat belt. It's infuriating!

No one who needs a DD needs something that is slightly smaller. If you cannot make it make the true fit for a DD then don't bother. Also non returnable is crazy. Panties I can see but not bras.

Honestly you can get them custom made much cheaper, why bother? Nutty..Are those bras custom made or does she just shop for you?

  7. $90 is the bare minimum I ever spend on a bra :( I have to go to specialty shops to find I-K, and those places ain't cheap.

  8. I'm on Team Custom Made - like Goop would go buy something off the rack, yeah right.

Years ago there used to be this older woman that worked in the foundations section at Dillard's (where I lived) that was excellent. She could just look at you and tell you what size bra you needed. It really does make a difference wearing the right size/fit. Thanks to my fibromyalgia, I can't wear a bra at all anymore. I'm a slave to my Lycra tank tops worn under my shirts.
