Gaby Hoffmann Gives Birth
Us Weekly exclusively reports that Gaby Hoffman has given birth to a baby girl, Rosemary. The father is boyfriend Chris Dapkins, and she opted for a home birth. This is the couples first child together. Hoffman can be seen in the new season of Girls, premiering in January.
Congradts! Love her---so funny on GIRLS. Wonder if she finally did a little waxing in her um lady area for the child birth.....

ReplyDeleteUgh, I hate that hipsters are all "opting for home birth." Because hospitals are for pussies, I guess? Lucky she didn't hemorrhage. There's women in Africa and India who would kill for our access to hospitals for delivery.

ReplyDeleteThere was a newborn baby that died last week of Legionnaire's Disease - the mother opted for the water delivery and she went to some birthing centre staffed by midwives with the large bath tubs to facilitate this.
ReplyDeleteI've really never heard much about Gaby in years, but I will always remember this interview she did in like 1995 in which she just trashed everybody in Hollywood. Madonna was a bitch, Kevin Costner was a jerk, Mel Gibson was unfriendly, etc. I wish all celebrity interviews were like that! Still the best celebrity interview I ever read.
ReplyDeleteI read an interview with her last year that was pretty funny about her Lena Dunham and Claire Danes hanging out and her relationship with the late Brad Renfro. She was also honest about her finances saying she had 2 grand in the bank after college and struggles paying NYC rent. She is definitely a hippy chick but she seems REAL and walked away from HWood at her own choice only to rediscover her love of acting again.
