  1. Day 3 of my Charlotte, NC culinary tour. Today's spot: Mert's bbq/soul food. I will forever dream about the cornbread.

    1. South21 for drive through food..Been there forever but ot sure of the quality since I don't live there anymore. My guilty pleasure is Bojangles egg and cheese biscuits. Or Cap't D's fish and chips when I'm home. Now I'm going to have to try the Kings Kitchen.

  2. Uncharacteristically I put off a lot of Christmas shopping and am wracking my brain for ideas and buying things on Amazon with 2-day Prime.

  3. Gearing up for holiday baking. Chocolate pumpkin muffins, salted caramel dark chocolate cookies, iced lemon bread and gingerbread. Getting my canning jars washed, because Saturday it's time to make the beer jelly. Ho! Ho! Ho!

  4. I'm avoiding an annoying client. I plan on quitting my job in 2015, and start a blog about traveling and drinking. That way I can write off my trips. It's genius.

So im folding laundry this afternoon and folding some of mr liddys stuff and i thought, i have been doing his laundry since we married. He has never done his laundry. 44 years now, and i was thinking, pretty sweet deal for him. I want to get in on something like that.

    1. Ugh! I hope you get well soon. I hear some cases can be very painful.

  13. Thanks Lace. I was always terrified of it but it's seriously nothing right now. Just a random annoying, once in a while strong pain in the one arm but it never stops me in my tracks. I wanted to tell people that it's not so bad! The antivirals are only for 7 days an I expect things to improve in 2 days. The rash only starters few days ago so maybe I'm lucky that I caught it early. I want to ask Seven if she waited for treatment and that's why her case was so serious. My dad just said he googled cats and shingles and found a link. I can't figure out how I got this! But cats. I'm up to my armpits in cats!
