Celebrity Real Estate - Ellen Degeneres Decides There's No Place Like Home

A place so nice she bought it twice! Ellen Degeneres just re-bought a two-parcel compound from the person she sold it to seven years ago. Designer Alexandra Hedison, who is married to Jodie Foster, completely remodeled the home after it was purchased from Ellen. See pics of the $10 million property at Curbed.

      I think it goes to the left at the top. The center hall at least is two stories. There might be a pretentious loft-y space up there.

      The stairs lead to a small loft type area above a garage. The 19th pic shows it, it's a hard turn.

    They certainly have minimalist tastes. Not a fan of the giant tree in the Beverly West unit, though.

    I saw this yesterday and thought immediately of Ellen having a mid life crisis. She was pissed Jodie foster married her ex Alexandra and now she's buying back the house she sold to A when they split???
    It's a mlc control thing...
    I feel for portia now..
    I am also having a really hard time typing this at the vet with my 5 lb chi sitting on my arms with her front paws constantly tapping my right typing hand and finger.. remarks might be short for the next hour.

      she had to get 4 vaccines and her anal glands drained.. not a happy
      princess when i got her home!!!! but i hit the drive thru and got her and her sis some bacon slices and set it in her doggie cube in the front seat she sits in next to me and mean mugs me the whole way there and back.. but at least she was going nuts smelling bacon the last 4 mins home..
      it's her sis' turn next week....

    I find it interesting that she bought it back from the person she sold it to as well... Something weird there.. And is there only 5 lesbians in H'wd? Seems like they could find some others with real estate.

    That seems strange for Ellen to buy it back after her ex has completely remodeled it to her and Jodi Foster's personal taste. Unless Ellen plans on remodeling it AGAIN. Maybe she's trying to play head games on Portia and drive her mad. I know I wouldn't want to move into the house my husband and his ex used to live in. Bad juju.
