Wine and Sass Blind Item

Today in Blind Gossip, "I didn't want to accept her as a client, either but she offered twice the amount we'd normally charge to fix her name."

Overheard at this PR firm about this B-List actress who has most definitely earned every bad word you hear about her...and much more.

Her new current job and "I'm sweet and innocent and have no idea why people say harsh things about me" tour she's on is her last chance.  She grits out those very P.C. responses when anyone brings up what people say about her, but inside she wants to blow her top.  Almost everyone in Hollywood ignores her and her calls for work.

In fact, this one very nice, A-List actor she worked with on a movie years ago, to this day won't even acknowledge her existence.  She was the biggest diva on set and outright nasty to him.  She was the bigger star at the time.  He wasn't A-List during the making of the movie and now that he is, she has gone overboard to all the sudden be super-nice to him and track him down at social events.  Recently, she went up to him at a party and he turned around and walked the other way without even a side glance.

Like I said, she deserves it.

  2. I really, really want to say Laura Jean Poon and Mark Ruffalo, but she's still A+ and he's B+ at best.

  3. Oh no Heigl it is, which Seth Rogen as the A-lister.

    1. That does make sense. I was thinking Heigl, too.

    2. Ooh, I like this visual. He'd totally do that.

    3. @Jessi Sold! Sounds like Heigl and Rogen

    4. Yeah, probably Rogen not Marsden. Rogen is more A-list, & I could see him doing this, too. He seems like he'd be pretty nice in "real life".
That PR agency is going to earn every penny of their money.

  4. Heigl/Marsden. "27 Dresses". I had to google her IMDB b/c I couldn't think of his name.

  5. I'm with Jessi, it's Heigl. She was downright rude during the PR of their movie together, going so far as to say it was beneath. (Please.) She got a pilot and a series, and then threw Shonda Rhimes under the bus with "I hope she knows I love her and appreciate her blah blah blah". You do not throw Shonda Rhimes under the bus without consequences.

SMG is a good guess, too. She shanked Joss Whedon and her fabulous movie career went nowhere. Nathan Fillion was a third-rate character on Buffy and is now the star of a beloved (and dead boooo) series and movie, and is on Castle. Angel went from Buffy to Angel and then to Bones. Hannigan when from Willow to American Pie to HIYM. Buffy is one of the very few actors who never made a Whedon work afterward.

  6. If it's Heigl, I can't imagine how any PR firm could rehabilitate her image.

  7. Another vote for Heigl (what's her damage?) and Rogen.

  8. Wow Heigl really screwed herself and then someone in the audience asked her about her bad rep and she acted like she didn't know. IF she were smart, and she's not, she would have admitted in and said she was working on her attitude.

  9. What movie were Heigel and Rogen in?

  10. Heigl is the obvious guess, and it's probably right, but what about AnnE? She is really pushing the "Golly gosh, I'm a nice person, why were the haters so mean to me when I won my Oscar?" thing nowadays.

  12. She was a C U Next Tuesday (as my aunt would say) back in the day, but I know people who worked with her on a movie that is coming out soon and on her new show and they all have nothing but good things to say about her.

  13. Absolutely 100% Heigl and Rogan. She was on The Chew this week, acting all sweet and schmaltzy, then she was on a late night show.

No matter how she sways the public's opinion, she's never going to rebuild the bridge's she's burned in the industry. Not even with offers of hate fueled painal.

And she has shit on Knocked Up in the past and poo pooed it as beneath her to ever consider a sequel or another foray into comedy, so Seth Rogan hating her would make sense.

    Would bang, would not date.

  14. No definitely Heigl every interview on her promotional tour for her new TV show, she is apologizing that people see her negatively and that she's human and made mistakes, sorry that Shonda said this and that blah blah blah with no real contriteness for her own responsibility in that, she and Butler seemed to get along fine or he's a better actor than I give him credit for and really they were on par at the time they did Ugly Truth. I think there were photos of she and her husband actually having lunch with Butler and others way after the movie came out, she lived down the road from him

    1. She may have changed but it's going to take a while to convince people since she burned so many bridges

for example if her show State of Affairs does not do well, don't make any arrogant statements and don't blame anyone else for its failure will be a start

  15. Heigl's criticism of Knocked UP was exactly right, but Judd Apatow is the darling of the Boy Man set, so she is shunned, naturally. Shia LeBeef said a lot worse about his directors and coworkers and he still gets buried with offers.

That said, I do believe Heigl might be a bitch overall. I detest her fashion sense. She dresses like a 50s matron.
