Bono Injured in Cycling Spill

Over the weekend, Bono took a tumble while riding his bike in Central Park. The fall injured his arm, and surgery is required in order to repair the injury. This will put a crimp in the band's plans; they had planned a week-long residency at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this week which they have had to cancel. However, if you were looking forward to seeing a week of U2 on The Tonight Show, have no fear - the band does plan on rescheduling the residency once Bono has recovered.

    ¡Hola! all. Doesn't Bono sing? How is the arm injury affecting that? Maybe it's his sunglasses flipping arm. (I still like him, too - even after he pushed music to my phone w/o my permission, which is vaguely creepy)

      I've broken a couple of bones through the years and every time I had a problem with them being very painful and I would even run a low-grade fever after a surgery to set them. However, I have also come to find out that I am very sensitive wuss and a broken bone does not affect other people as badly.

      So what I'm trying to say here is that maybe Bono is just a wuss. ;)

    OT - I had a busy couple of days, just now catching up on the chatter on the companion site from Friday...I don't know if it's come up, but I wouldn't mind a pay to play gossip site. I pay for reddit gold, just to support the site. It's a nominal charge, maybe $20/year, which is virtually nothing, but it helps support the running of the site.
    Or am I talking bullshit?
    I like the people here - it's not populated by 13 year old beliebers, so I really don't want it to go away.

    Man, I hate to hear bad things about Bono. He's my third favorite Irish person.

    I read an interview in a really obscure magazine once and he came across as someone I'd be perfectly spending an evening with and possibly photobombing ala Bendy.

      I do too Jessi. I've been on and off with CDaN since '08 and I've made some good pals because of it. When times were hard I got support and I also gave support to others when they needed it. Like good friends do.

    Kno Won: before being a singer, Bono is first and foremost a MASSIVE wanker. Due to this, his arm injury is likely to impede much of his daily functioning.
