Carrie Underwood, 31, and her husband Mike Fisher, 34, recently learned that they are expecting a baby boy! The couple, who have been married since 2010, will welcome their son in the Spring.
For most people, you're kind of selfish and focused on your own wants. Even if you're married, you are two adults and there's some self-centeredness to the relationship at times. But once you have children, I think most people change. You have someone totally dependent on you for everything. Kids don't care if you have a 12 page rider to your contract saying that you require Fiji water, not Evian and Auber-fluffy bath towels. Nor do they care that you employ someone to pluck the peanuts out of your Snickers bar when you could just buy a Mars bar instead.
Of course, all that becomes moot when you are talking about celebrity multi-millionaires, I guess. Hopefully, Carrie had a solid upbringing and relies on that. Say what you want about Jennifer Garner, she does seem to enjoy her children and spend time with them.
I feel sorry for her baby. She's very cold person, self admittedly. Hope that baby changes her!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too. Some people just don't have a motherhood gene.

KarenW.. Lovely. You nailed it.
DeleteI thought we knew this, from the Brad Paisley "you-can-name-the-baby-'Garth'" thing on the CMAs?
ReplyDeleteFunny I skimmed this quickly and saw Carrie Fisher.
ReplyDeleteThis was revealed on the CMA's weeks ago *yawn*
ReplyDeleteYay! Babies are beautiful - wish them all the best!
