  1. I could move right in with just a suitcase and be content. Maybe he needs a permanent house sitter. I'm very good at sitting in houses, it's an inborn talent.

  3. Looking back I'm sure he probably wishes he invested in other stuff for the long haul although real estate isn't a bad investment really. How many songs did this guy have?

I have a friend who's a song writer and he sold one song to The Ga. Satellites. They do NOT live in the largest house in Bunn, NC I can tell you that.

    1. I think he is a really successful producer besides his solo career.

    2. When he bought it, real estate was probably considered a great investment. It's less great now, because lending is so tight. When even Ben Bernanke can't refinance his house, it's pretty bad for people holding property. Then again, people who are considering this house might not need a mortgage.
I shouldn't bum myself out this early, makes the day long.

    3. The article says he bought it for 4.7mil and now it's for sale at 18mil...I doubt he's disappointed.

    4. Agreed Jessi. I rethought that as I was commenting. Nice profit.

  4. Hmm, not necessarily a fan of his decor. Though some antique pieces I would steal. Goodness I also love his hair, why can't this look come back in style!

    1. I never thought he was anything to look at when he was younger---he got much better with age. I think he found a good surgeon (and I am not being bitchy I really do--and really do think he looks good)

    2. I don't think he's had anything done, just grown an adult's face, instead of the baby face he had in the 80s. He's so stinking' skinny, he has cheekbones and a chin that could cut glass.

  6. I just read this morning that he and his wife had split. I was surprised and disappointed. But I'm always surprised and disappointed when couples divorce when they have been married that long divorce.

I hadn't seen a picture of Daisy in a long time. She looks different, but still beautiful.

  7. The dark colors, heavy fabrics etc I mentioned not being a fan of the other day? This is a perfect example.

He was everywhere in the late 80's/early 90s.

  8. I used to not get how homes would have more bathrooms than bedrooms - then I moved in with males.

I didn't know he was married to Cynthia!

    1. Exactly 7 - you need as many bathrooms as males in the house + 1.

    2. Who has eleven men in the house? Maybe the Osmonds..the practical part of my brain reads this and sez '11 bathrooms to clean' ..shiver.

    3. I think it's like algebra. If you have x number of men in the house, assume each one has y number of friends, and each friend has z number of friends. Allocate bathrooms accordingly and, as Lace said, add +1. +1 is the ladies only bathroom. It smells like lavender and linen and has an automatic XY detector built in. It never runs out of tissue paper, never has urine on any surface, always has crisp towels and clean water cups, never has molested toothpaste tubes or razors used by other than owner. And wifi, it has wifi. Possibly a wine fridge if Mimi did the decorations.

  9. I was sad to hear they had divorced. She had a good career going when they married. Just recently I saw him on Rachael Ray show. His roots were grey and his hair looked like crap. He was very quiet and acted like he did not want to be there. It was bad.

  11. @califblondy - I saw that too. I couldn't figure out why he was being the way he was- but u described it well.
Didn't he come out later in a little car? And the car still looked big in comparison.
    I can't beleive he's "courting" Daisy. I think she's taller than I am!
(Like dudlly Moore and Susan Anton - don't even know how I remember them.)

  12. If he has a recording studio in the house and produces albums, he probably has groups of people in and out. Those extra bathrooms would come in very handy.
