    2. I'm doing okay...just waiting for the good pain meds to kick in. It's a party for one (or 3 if you include my batshit crazy at 2am cats). Xx

  3. Very awesome of her to raise money for a good cause but no plus sizes? Disappointing although not surprising that an actress didn't consider that fatties like me like to wear pajamas too!

    1. Right? We like our jammas too!

    2. I always like my jammies spacious anyway. What size does she go to? ('Plus size' is such a subjective concept)

    3. Yep Small (sizes 0 - 4), Medium (6 - 8) and Large (10 -14). And no petites. So while I might be able to find a size that fits me, they'd be about six inches too long.

    4. Bee plus size shouldn't be an issue unless you're planning on buying ME a gift. At 5'9" and 100# you'll be a teeny tiny. Now add 60# and there's me.

    5. I hate the S, M, L thing. I don't understand sizes. I'm unable to get some clothes in my size at all, however some asian sizes I'm a small, or medium. And that's ridic cos I'm disgusting atm. My normal size, I'm an Au 8 - no idea what that is in UK or US. I'm taller - so same as Karen w her petite frame - sizes don't account for height either.

    6. Sherry, I hate my weight. Specialist weighed me in at 93 pounds last week. Not a humble brag - I look sick. I hate how our culture has warped our view. My hubby wishes there were more of me - I bruise so easily and I'm all edges and bones. The antithesis of sexiness for ladies wanting to diet to sz 0. It aint!

    7. God forbid someone larger than a (alleged) size 12 or 14 wants to wear something awesome looking too. When will designers get it?

    8. Exactly Min. Look at the average size for women, the largest consumer group, and these designers cater to the 0.1%.madness and poor biz savvy.

  4. Kim K take note . That's how it's done.

  5. If I buy it and wear it, will I miraculously have her figure? Kidding, good on her. She is fab.

  6. That is so cool! If I had an extra $350 lying around, I'd totally drop it for the Princess Bride script autographed by Buttercup and Westley!

KimK does give a portion of her proceeds to charity. Her mother's church tax shelter!

  7. Thats nice and wonderful thought, but dont most of us wear old soft tee shirts and cotton or flannel pj bottoms to bed? Really no call for the fancy unless you hv a plan. Point being, design some soft as butter all cotton pjs and the world will beat a path to your door.

    1. Ok i went and looked and that is what she has designed BUT the pjs are $75 for limited time then go up to 150. A tad pricy for sleepwear but of course all money goes to charity.

    2. Aunt liddy - it's summer, so I'm in mismatched cotton pj shorts and tanks. My hubby mostly wears jocks around the house. We even eat our dinner on the couch like that. We are classy people.

    3. Bee- that really cracked me up! My pj pieces are chosen based on how soft they are, so no matching there, and the shirt o wear over that cos im cold is sooo old, i had to cut off literally worn away sleeve, so i hv one ling sleeve and one 3/4! My hubby gets ahold of one shirt on monday and he just keeps on with it like he's gonna win a contest! To this day i dont know what triggers the changing of the shirt, lol. If we involved with tv show, we take our dinner in front of our resoective tvs- we cant watch together, we'd kill each other over the remote, haha- so you see, we too are very classy, lol

    4. Oh Aunt liddy you TOTALLY cracked me up! I had a pair of jammies I had at uni - they are 12 years old! The arse had completely worn out. Thread bare. I cried having to toss those flannel wonders. I tried the sexy nighttime ware but the lacy bits itched my boobs. I love the bit about your hubs. Mine wears the same band tshirt for a week. Everywhere (when not in uniform). We wear mostly old ratty band tees but not in a cool, ironic hipster way. For as dressed up as I am for work, I am a total bush pig at home. And love it. I had to buy a set of snoopy pjs for a work cancer fundraiser because nothing I actually wear at home was suitable!

  8. This is awesome! In less than 24 hours they’ve raised already more than 20K. I had the chance to attend a UN session where Robin, John Prendergast and Samantha Power (who’s good friends with Robin) talked about this project. She’s really passionate about it and it’s clear that for her this is not a PR charity op, like for most of the celebs. She put her time and own money to help this women.

As for the sizes: I think being their first sale they might adjust also to the plus sizes in the future. Anyway, in person RW looks like she’s around 100 pounds, she’s fit and toned, but really really slim. It makes sense.

    1. This is terrific..if they had actually involved the women in the business they would've given them futures and empowered them. I hope that's what the bucks are for. It's sad that so much charitable giving falls into the wrong hands (I.e. Haiti)
