Kardashian Korner

Yesterday, Bruce Jenner got into a car crash, TMZ exclusively reports. Bruce and his son Burt were taking part in the Baja 1000 off-road race, and Bruce was behind the wheel when the crash took place. Both Jenners are okay. In the hours that it took for their crew to reach them, they joined the locals for some pizza and beer. This is sure to be a disappointment to their investors, who put $1,000,000.00 into the truck that they were racing.

In other Kardashian news, Kendall Jenner was just named the new face of Estee Lauder.

    1. At least it seems to be in one post instead of spread out. :)

    2. Very true. Hopefully, Outtie isn't on PMK's payroll as Enty seemed to be.

    3. Outtie, please no Kardashian/Jenners. Pretty please??

  4. I'd quite like a whole Kardashian post. I loved their appearances on Cdan back in February it was performance art! I'm wondering what Rob thought about Kim's attempt at breaking the internet.

    1. Bruce's ends look dry. He needs a treatment.

  6. I wonder if Bruce's breakup with Kris has given him the time and desire to spend more time with his older kids, OR if he always saw them and the tension with his older kids was just for the storyline?

    1. My working theory is that Bruce is the main famewhore of the whole family. He plays good cop/bad cop with Kris. He couldn't stand the idea of becoming slowly poorer and irrelevant and married Kris because her goals (fame and money) were the same as his. But she is more outgoing so that works for him and his image. I do like him, don't get me wrong!

  7. Also, can we keep Anarchy to just one corner max for the KKs?

  8. In off-road racing, more often than not your vehicle breaks down so you drink beer and wait for the chase crew to show-up. That's a helluva sponsorship.

  9. Aw, I'm glad Bruce is okay. Ugh at Kendall repping Lauder.

  10. @Omar-She's more suited to Wet N Wild.

  11. Long time lurker... New Outtie lover...
I am guessing Kendall pairing with Estée Lauder to target a younger age group for their products..? The Kardashian/Jenners are seriously everywhere :/

    2. Yes @meg, i think EL have always struggled to find a younger audience. Maybe this will get them some fresh, young blood for their brand.

    3. Well, I may be hailed down for this, but after Goopy, anyone would be a step up for Estee Lauder.

  12. So the cosmetics company is promoting cosmetic procedures rather than cosmetics!!!
I see Kylie as awful these days.
No idea why anyone would want her to rep anything - except what not a woman should be.

  13. Ugh, I can't believe how these famewhores keep infiltrating culture. They are only famous because dad defended a murderer and his daughter was urinated on in a "leaked" sex tape. Olympian Bruce Jenner now sports nail polish and Got2Be hair products. Pseudo son in law calls himself "Lord" because he bought a title.

Estee Lauder is going the Sears route. KTXBYE.

  14. A million dollar truck?? Yeah I don't think so. Kardashians on vogue and now estee lauder...pimp momma must be in heaven. Embracing the fame ho life sure pays off.

  15. Wow, that was fast for her to land that contract. Makes me think someone bought that for her. The Face is usually reserved for much more well known actors.

  16. I knew the world iwas headed for the apocalypse when the Jenner twins hosted the Much Music Video Awards, this is a cool hip show and this is what the youth must want, gag. Just a matter of time now. Is there another comet on its way?

  17. I wonder which of the elder lauder men Kendull had to screw repeatedly to land the El contract. . Can't remember the name of who runs it I think it's Estee son Leonard and he is 70.. I hope his wrinkled dick went down easy girl but a campaign and a check is what it is yo..
and yes Bruce was always a fameho he saw himself in Kris and Kris knew of his cross dressing ways and didn't care. She wanted the Jenner name and connections. And only Kendull is a Jenner. Kylie is Todd waterman kid. Kris just screws whoever she wants and names the kid by who she's married to..

  18. Thank God I use Lancôme.

Whatever is Lauder thinking? There are tons of better ways to attract a younger market.

    1. Bless you. Lancome (how do you do the accent thing?) has the BEST gifts with purchase! Estee is too heavy for my skin, if that makes sense.

    2. Dexamyl: I'm a Lancôme girl too. And Chanel. I love their new fragrance La vie est belle.

    3. (Raises hand) I'm a Lancombe girl myself. I love the cleansing mousse. It's like Nirvana after a bad day.

  19. Never tried off road racing, but I have tried stock cars and it's a hell of a lot harder than it looks. The races I did were about 50 miles on a half mile track, but those were the hardest 50 miles I've ever driven. I did finish in the top 10 in all 3 races and actually was racing for the lead in the second one I was in. (I was driving a car that was owned by the guy who has won the track title four times. He put me in the car after seeing me test it one day, his words exactly "I haven't seen raw talent like that since Mark Martin started racing back here in the 70's") I would've kept it up but I got promoted at work (and my salary was much more than what I could win in the same amount of time) and had to work Saturday nights. I think I was able to do so well because I can literally (used the correct, classic way not the new "literal can mean figuratively" way) see the way angles and moves work when driving in my head, basically, I can think of turning the wheels 35 degrees and see a visualization of how the car will come off a corner. I can do the same thing on diagrams and mentally take things apart, in fact, my Dad was a mechanic at a factory and when they would have problems with a machine and they couldn't figure it out, he'd pay me $25 to come to the plant and tell them what's wrong. I can't fix it, but I can tell you HOW to fix it. He was doing that when I was 10 years old. The way different people's brains are wired is amazing, isn't it?

That leads in to my Kardashian comment so I'm not too off topic, ummm, the Kardashians brains are, wait, do they have brains?

    ReplyDelete

    1. No, they're brains were eaten by delusion and vanity long ago.

I've been mudbogging, off-roading, and dirt-biking before (and in the dark, too), and it's exhilarating and terrifying.

That being said, if I was Bruce, I'd have made sure PMK was in the car and I crashed on her side.

  20. I was at an antique mall today and I saw a "vintage" T-shirt with OJ's face on it with the slogan OJ is Not Guilty! In the photo of him on the shirt, he looks like an evil predator. Somebody somewhere actually bought that....

  21. estee lauder has for years missed the mark going after an older audience using elisabeth hurley who american women don't like. at least kendull has had minimal plastic surgery and doesn't look like a blow up doll like kim. she does have a youthful fresh face look and is tall. the rabid young fan base that she has will by her stuff..

    ReplyDelete
  22. @bellaluna You can use a smart keyboard app for the phone or just copy and paste the word《 Lancôme 》or whatever.

@Sugarbread I'm not convinced Jenner is right for the primary Estée Lauder brand. The company has subsidiaries like Clinique and Origins that have an image and price point that would probably appeal more to Jenner's fans. So we'll see how she works out...

    ReplyDelete
  23. @dex i think clinique is all about the fresh face look
and origins brand is all about earthy and organic and from the root
    kendull is none of those
estee lauder is ALL ABOUT using lots of makeup to find the most glamorous you
kendall and her obsessed followers are all about buying all of the new it makeup and buying it in every color, so in that respect she fits el more so than the other 2. the other 2 have a more earthy granola brand image about them but el has always been about glamour and shine and in that respect i have to say kendall has been trained since birth to wear 5" heals and how to apply make up like a pro. she has grown up around pro make up people, stylists, hair, top designers.. she has that advantage that she already knows what works on her..
