It's sad that I rarely go to the movie theater any more. With huge TVs and streaming/on-demand services, it's hard for me to justify paying top dollar to sit in front of a chronic wrapper rattler or behind an 8 ft blockhead. I wish movie theaters weren't horrible.
We have to have close captions or I miss half the dialog. I haven't been to the theater since the second Pirates of the Carrabean. Whichever the one was with the Jamaican chick. The sound was so garbled I couldn't understand a word she said. Hearing loss bites.
I want to see Birdman too. And I'm the same way, I have to put on the subtitles otherwise I can't understand what the hell people are saying half the time. Total mumblecore.
I'm looking forward to The Theory of Everything. Need to see Birdman first, though.
