  1. My excitement for the day is the possibility of tacos for lunch.

  4. I was sooooo close to staying home today. It's cold and rainy and staying home cuddled on the couch with my dog sounded way better than going to work. But I did the responsible thing and now I'm regretting it.

  7. I fell out of bed this morning! Twas a rude awakening and the cat is still giving me *the eye*! He may never forgive me!

It's a bit chilly and it is definitely a day for fried taties and onions!

  8. Not a dang thing. A day off is nice every once in a while. No patients today, so I'm content to get my drama from crappy reality tv on my DVR instead.

  9. I'm home sick and watching Love Actually. Morgan Freeman doing fake nude scenes and Bill Nighy rocking it out is great, how did I miss this movie?! Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Kiera Knightley married to Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alan Rickman married to Emma Thompson, Billy Bob Thornton, Laura Linney, even January Jones and Elisha Cuthbert!

    1. I did a double take on that one, lol!

    2. I was thinking, how did I miss Morgan Freeman in that, and which love story was he involved with?

    3. Right? Thought maybe I had a tiny stroke involving only the Morgan Freeman nude scene sector of my brain. Which is understandable.

    4. Rowan Atkinson wrapping the illicit gift for Alan Rickman

    7. One of my favorite movies. Trivia -- January Jones plays one of the Wisconsin girls. I'm a total sap for the Martine McCutcheon/Hugh Grant storyline.

    1. Oh sorry Sherry! With Ashram, it's always a smelly cuddle, but full of love and head nudges. Have to wash him today. He's covered in bark and twigs and dingle berries. It was disrupted by itty bitty pretty kitty biting his tail. I send you kitty cuddles. ❤🐱

  12. Evening all. I hope yiz are having a good'un.
My man came home off tour early this week. I wasn't expecting him til near Christmas, so that's really cool.
I got some new 'toys' to review for my friend before his new shop opens, so big yay on that. Plenty of fun with my man. Always better than playing by myself.
And I finally got a dishwasher today. I've never had one before so I'm really happy about that.

    1. who was he touring with? as he ever toured with really cool bands?

      Delete
    2. Hey Derek. He has been on tour with a Queen tribute act for the last few months. Thankfully it was up and down the UK and Europe, so he got to come home every now and then.
It wasn't very glamorous, but it pays the bills.
He's been in the biz for over 20 years so he's worked with everyone at one time or another, from Whitney Houston to the UFC fights.
      He loves it.

    3. Fantastic. I know a guy who has toured with The Rolling Stones but he said they are pretty boring these days.

  15. I'm in Vegas because my guy has a conference. I got to pool hang yesterday but today is cloudy and I have a head cold/flu situation. So I'm in bed watching sex and the city. Boo

  16. I am enjoying the sunshine. Temps finally climbed back into the 60's. 70's this weekend. Perhaps we got lucky, and Texas had winter? ;)

  19. I'm just in the middle of my annual "Kennedy Week Reading". For as long as I can remember I've been starting on the 15th of November and read every book on the Kennedy Assassination that I can. Right now I'm working on "On the Trail of the Assassins" by Jim Garrison and my favorite, "Crossfire" by Jim Marrs (Both were books that inspired the movie JFK)

  20. @Seachica. I'm very happy for you to be getting your furnace. I felt for you on Monday when you said you had to wait until today. Yay!!

I'm kinda like @Delphine today, not in Vegas, just home feeling hot and cold and sore all over the over-on couch channel surfing- just watched an hour doc on Michael Kors/and now visiting SITC reruns- wishing I could eat the patty melt that Rachel Ray just cooked up - thinking I may get in the car in my robe (it's cold here -I think low 70's -well I feel like it's cold) and go thru drive thru for patty melt.
I should be doing SOOO much more.

    Stuffing recipe sounds interesting @Rowdy.

  22. It's 68 degrees in Austin right now and we've been out in the backyard sunning and playing with the min pin tribe (and STILL trying to wipeout these damn red ant hills). @JoElla, I'd LOVE it if this was as bad as winter got here in Texas. Rain I can deal with, snow? Hell NO!

  25. The same thing I do every weekday--work. Today however is Wednesday which means I have just two days left in the week, and they are shorter, easier work days.

  26. Noctilucent clouds! It's only the second time I've seen them. Last time in Puget Sound and this time in the Chihuahuan Desert. They were yellow. So beautiful! They glow a neon color because of the way hot and cold air intersects in the atmosphere. What a great sunset this was!!
