Celebrity Real Estate - See Lauren Bacall's $26 Million Apartment Listing

Lauren Bacall's apartment at the famed Dakota has just hit the market, Forbes reports. Bacall moved there in the 1960s, and remained there until the time of her recent passing in August. Check out those views!

    The Dakota is one of the tops addy's in NYC - best storied building in the city, so the value is going to be ridiculous. The floorplan shows tiny bathrooms and not a separate one for the "help" - if I'm all fancy, I don't want my guests bumping into the maid in the loo.

    When I was in my early 20's I was a nanny in NY. One of the kids I took care of had a friend that lived in The Dakota. I remember picking him up from a playdate and was blown away by the high ceilings. Cool building.
