  1. I'm going to assume the Grammy's aren't based on sales?

  3. The Sam Smith song was just meh. I don't understand why it got so popular. Didn't listen to the album.

I wish Sia would have won something. She's just so talented, and her album was great.

    1. +1 with Sia. She should have won for Music Video at least!

    2. It's actually a really good album.

  4. Why are the Grammys always so out of date? I feel like 'Happy' came out in the Clinton administration or something. And no Taylor Swift? I suppose '1989' will be in next year's Grammys, when everyone has moved on to something else.

  5. Swift was nominated. It feels like 'Happy' came out forever ago.

  6. Annie Lennox and Hozier were amazing. Everyone else? Not so much. Annie got a standing ovation--probably because people were amazed to hear someone who can actually SING and doesn't need auto tune or a gimmick. (Side-eyes Miley Cyrus.)

  7. So sorry I missed Annie Lennox and I'm betting all those metal bands are pissed that a faux metal band win. Tenacious D?

I'm a jazz fan so I'll have to look up who won there. Lots to catch up on today.

    1. I just saw that--Jack Black has a Grammy now?!? (I assume it's a cover of the Dio song?) Then again, considering this is the category that declared Jethro Tull heavy metal...

Did Weird Al ever win before? Nice to see him get something this time out! And Joan Rivers got Spoken Word... *sigh*

  9. Oh, & yay Beck! (Even if Kanye was a big fat sooky la la girl's blouse)

  10. Tay-Tay didn't win at all?! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Imma let you finish, but first I have to scroll through 700 Grammy categories.

  12. And that list is an example of what is wrong with music in the year 2015. If you have to use auto tune to sing...you shouldn't be nominated for anything---ever.
