Surprise, surprise...NY Post gave Fifty Shades 3 out of 5 stars and they were flattering to Dakota. Honestly, if you read the books (and I know no one here has, LOL), she fits how I imagined the awkward and pretty, but not too pretty, Ana. Sadly, the review also notes there's not much chemistry between the two leads.
So, let the record show that on the ninth day of February 2015, I had to turn on the damn air conditioner!
Those clips they keep showing in the ads make Dakota look like she was listening to the dialogue on an ear piece and then repeating it. There was no acting or emotion from her. Why do they not let her use a single contraction in her words? It makes her feel so robotic and artificial. It is like they want her to seem like a Real Doll that speaks. (See how weird those last three sentences were without saying "Why don't they let her..." and "It's like the want her to..."? )
For some unknown reason, my iPad decided it wasn't going to show my email since yesterday. I spent all afternoon trying to fix it. Apparently this has been happening to a lot of yahoo accounts with Mac. Anyone on here having the same problem? After screwing with it all afternoon, suddenly it's working again. I have no idea what fixed it. Technology....
Working for a few more hours so I can watch Girls and rewatch BCS. I just got a Nespresso milk frother and it is delightful. But my delicious morning coffee was ruined by this:
