How Many Licks Does It Take To Get To The Center Of A Tootsie Pop?

A recent scientific study set out to definitively answer that question. Time Magazine reports that in a study published in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, researchers found that it takes approximately 1,000 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop. They could have saved their money; everyone knows the real answer is 3.

    I always loved this commercial as a child. And chocolate tootsie pops..They're the best.
