Celebrity Real Estate - Marc Anthony Edition

Just as J Lo moves out of the neighborhood, her ex-husband buys a new house nearby. Marc Anthony has laid out $4.125 million for a new-build mini-mansion in the Valley for his new wife. The 6500 square foot home contains five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, and a "Sex and the City" style closet. See pictures of the property here.

  1. I cant believe how unkept it looks in front, that other houses are so close. Its nice but nothing spectacular, but then again, he and she will only be living there until he moves on and deserts any children they have. I guess she gets to keep the house so he didnt go overboard, lol

  2. Marc Anthony has the kind of career that he can afford a 4 million house?? Does he get alimony from JLo or something??

  3. Holy crap, that closet!

I generally like white but this seems a bit too much with the white marble and all the glass. The only real color is the black stairsteps and the pool, and maybe the painting above the fireplace. Didn't like the kitchen at all, anyone who cooks can tell you white is a beast to keep clean in the kitchen. It's interesting how celeb houses go from Vince Vaughn's all-wood-all-the-time to Marc Anthony's white-as-a-fresh-sheet decor but neither really seem to have a heart.

@lawn, the article says he makes $1.25 mil per month (per month!) and pays $45k per month in child support. He's not really big here but he's HUGE in Latin America. He's like the Elvis Presley of Latin America.

  4. Why is there a table in the middle of the doorway leading from the kitchen to the living room or that other seating area, whatever you'd call it? Things in the path of egress drive me around the bend. Mainly because the Opster does it all the time..Comes in and drops shit right in front of the door or a gate or some path.

Nice but way too much white.

  5. Pfffft. The pool isn't even an infinity pool. I just can't with that, no matter how how big the closet is.

  6. I mostly like it as long as once I bought it, I could completely repainted the interior. I'd leave the white trim but the solid white walls would have to go. The front of the house looks weird the way you have to go out the front door and walk down a huge flight of stairs to get to the yard. I hate that. It's a nice house but doesn't blow me away.
