One of the Rabbis at my Hebrew school was related to Moe, Curly (and Shemp). I thought that was so freaking cool!

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Julie! I have a dvd set of the Stooges, all through the years. My favorites are the ones with Curly, but the other guys never let you down. The true definition of slapstick.

I remember we went to his house for some school-related thing (there were only 8-10 of us), and someone asked why he had a pic of them on his wall. That's when he told us he was related to them. I'm just realizing that he and Curly shared the same first name, Jerome, but that was probably a coincidence. I always loved Curly and Moe. I didn't care for any of the other stooges.
